Horrid experience! Beware! This location and especially the caucasian brunette who works at cash desk. This brunette has a customer-lack-of-care problem! Specifically, she has a lack of awareness of herself. When asked questions about the company’s policy or garment information she forgets that it’s her job to be professional and not condenscending(rolling eyes, speaking in a tone suggesting you are an idiot for asking, and repulsive body gestures that add to her overall unpleasant attitude.) Also, what type of customer representative would talk loud enough(for me who is standing third in line to check out at the cash area) about her judgmental interpretations about customers who purchased product from the store? And her colleagues agree and participate in this?! So what if one customer does not buy enough product? Or another exchanges and another does multiple returns? Check yourselves employee’s of the Don Mills branch, it’s your JOB to just be cordial, professional and pleasant to the customers. You work and represent a company, and thanks to your«great service» I am completely writing your branch and the company off altogether. If you can’t fake it and give a good experience to the customer, plenty of other brands will provide it. You would think their post secondary education, as a bunch of this stores sales representatives kept of mentioning/sharing to customers they were going to U of T and other Ontario universities, would aid in socialising/educating them. And for those who are wondering, did I buy the item? I didn’t. I just put the item back on the table and made my exit as this experience did NOT sit well with me at all!

I would give it zero star if I could. This is the worst aritzia by far and I have shopped at aritzia for many years. Staff members are unhelpful majority of the time(ie not offering to start a fitting room when it’s not even busy at the store). And they have an attitude problem. For example, I asked one of the girls if they had the wool scarf that I saw on their website.(I even showed them the picture). The girl pointed me to some thin cotton scarf at the back of the store, not even bothering walking over there to show me. Then I told her politely no, I am looking for wool scarf. Then the girl snapped at me and said«I know what you mean!!! We don’t have wool scarves» And then she walked away. Worst experience ever, I would never go back to that store.

I had a great shopping date with a GF of mine here. The whole experience end to end was pretty good. We came during a sale season(just a few weeks ago). The sales girls were helpful, and didn’t have any attitude. Generally, I can’t complain. My GF walked out with a cute outfit. I conceded to my shopoholic self, and left with a pair of shorts. Overall, it was a great visit.

As I go to Aritzia more and more often, the salesgirls scare me more and more. For example, today, I went to this location of Aritzia. I walked around, undisturbed for a few minutes until I happened upon a really cute totally oversized cape-like hoodie. My mother did not approve. I was about to reach for it when a salesgirl appeared out of thin air, read my mind, and got it off the hanger for me. I wonder when she had time to look me up and down and guess my size. What a ninja. I carried it over to the mirror while my mom looked on disapprovingly. The salesgirl followed obediently, while another salesgirl also appeared to extol the virtues of the hoodie I was holding. Standing side by side, they looked like perfectly made up Barbies. Well, Barbies dressed in super-chic clothing and impossibly perfect grunged up boots. It was enough to scare me to leave.(The hoodie didn’t look that great anyways.) This location is big, but a sizable chunk of it is TNA stuff. I didn’t really find anything that I liked, despite how large and stocked the store was. Aritzia, I am disappoint.
