This is a pretty good independent gym. The owner is on site much of the time, which is cool. It took over from Fortis fitness, which moved. There’s still some sort of connection between the two. The mix of equipment is pretty good. They have all of the weights that I want, including some unique things that you don’t see at other gyms. One of the great things about this gym or that there’s 24 hour access. That’s so much better for somebody with a busy lifestyle. They don’t have the crowds of GoodLife here. There’s enough people that it’s busy, but you don’t have to wait forever to use the equipment that you want. There aren’t large change rooms here. There are two bathrooms that each accommodate one person. There’s a shower in each with enough space to change.

Great facility, good space, love the keycard access but the people(staff) and the trainers are sub-par. A mid to low energy environment that lacks motivation. No classes and angry staff members make the overall value low. I was a member for 2 months then decided to go somewhere more uplifting and encouraging.

We live around the corner and wanted a gym that we could join on a month to month basis. We are very happy to have joined. It is clean, well lit, well equipped and just super convenient for those of us that live in Leslieville. It is a smaller independent gym so there is no classes and it is not always manned by someone, but that does not bother us at all. There is towels, wipes, showers and a water cooler. It is a very friendly place. We recommend.
