Overall a bad place. Poor customer service. It’s always busy with seniors from the retirement home so one time I was told TWICE in a row to wait additional half an hour even though I had a scheduled appointment. Quality of the pedicure is very average at best. They always try to upsell you to a service you don’t need. The one time I did wax my eye brows there was terrible. I asked for small clean up and no shape changing… i left with half of my eyebrows gone.

Worst salon experience, nail job ever and«service» ever. This place should be shut down. I went in to get nails applied for an important event this week. The nail technician did a terrible job applying the nails. They look awful with a gap between my nail bed and the nail. They looked grown out as soon as the technician applied them. The nails were crooked too(and I when I asked her to fix one, she told me it was my finger that was crooked, not the nail). The technician didn’t even bother to clean the undersides of the nails so they were all ragged and messy and I had to ask them to fix it. They left gunk all around my fingers. When I said something they said it was my cuticles(which they didn’t trim before applying the new nails– I noticed but stupidly assumed that they knew what they were doing). Then the two women yelled at me for not requesting a manicure BEFORE I got the nails applied. Who gets a manicure and then gets fake nails applied afterwards? I’ve had fake nails applied before and have always been happy with the result. Then they tried to get me to pay them more money for some sort of a post application cuticle fix(which only would have made the nails look more grown out). Pay more? You have to be kidding. And having the two women telling me that the nails were perfect, but it was my fault that they looked terrible was beyond ridiculous. Now I have the trashiest fake nails ever. It looks like I applied myself. while drunk. and blindfolded. Basically, don’t go here. I have never had a worse experience. See my profile pic for what the nails looked like immediately after I left the salon. They look even worse now. I just hope nobody looks at my fingers at the event as I won’t have time to get my nails fixed until afterwards…

I think I need to go back to this place — I may have just had a bad experience. My mani pedi was pretty good, but the customer service was poor. The worst part was 3 staff members were gleefully and boastfully waving their tips at each other — and did that to mine even before I could exit the shop! It’s nice to know a tip is appreciated, but this was really weird and felt strange as a customer. I will review once I visit again as I am all for second chances and the store is convenient for me.

i did not like this place. my pedi was not great when it was done, and did not last long. manicure was below my expectation color chipped within two days and i’m not hard on my nails at all. and got hang nails. they pressured to buy more massage time, so i did and it was not worth a penny of it. nobody likes sloppy massage… i don’t have much to talk about then that, won’t be back.

I really like this place a lot. The place is clean, casual, friendly, and busy at times which tells you how many people like this place. They had OPI and China Glaze polishes along with other brands, the selection was nice and my pedicure lasted a very long time and looked amazing. I enjoyed the massage chairs and watching a funny flick on the big flat screen TV in front of me while I was getting pampered up. E&Y nail Salon is reasonably priced and accepts walk-ins. I would recommend this place!

I have had great experiences at this nail salon — great nail polish selection, lots of staff, modern facility, great customer service and pretty clean. I have tried most of the salons on Mount Pleasant and E&Y is the most modern, reasonably priced salon. I have had better technicians than others, I must say. Anna is my favourite — she speaks english perfectly and does a really good french manicure. If you pay cash, there is no tax. I recommend reserving, as it gets busy.

E & Y Nail Salon is located on Mount Pleasant, south of Eglinton where there are at least 6 other nails salons within a 3 block radius. Although it’s an upper class neighbourhood, the nail salons are surprisingly not so high quality. E & Y is very reasonably priced compared to the neighbourhood competition and accepts both appointments and walk ins. The salon is relatively small but very clean & modern looking. They also have good prices on O.P.I. nail polish and sell very cute, cheap flip flops w/jewels on them!
