I had a great haircut here! It is definitely my new place to get my hair cut.
There were two hairdressers there when I walked in (phoned ahead to make sure there was space for me) and I got Larry. I described how I wanted my hair done (I’m rather particular about my hair for a guy) and he did it perfectly to a T.
Larry made sure to clean up the edges and spent a good amount of time meticulously snipping and buzzing away the unneeded hair. The haircut was fast too!
One thing I’ve found about most places is that they don’t do too well with symmetry but Larry was able to get it down perfectly.
They were able to take me in 20 minutes from when I called, so I virtually didn’t have to wait at all.
All in all, a great place but I normally spend less for a haircut. I was able to get mine done with the student discount for $ 19, a very fair price for the service I got!
They take cash and/​or debit.

Forgione’s Hair Centre is a located in a half basement. There’s some big concrete steps that lead down to the doorway. There are 2 hair dressers who work here: Larry and Joe. No, I’m not making this up.
They’re both really cool guys who do good jobs on hair, but truth be told I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to that stuff, so I may not be the best judge here.
Their prices are decent, and they offer discounts for students, so make sure you let them know if that includes you. They’ve also got tanning beds in the back. Don’t know much about them other than they exist.
You don’t need an appointment to come here, but if they’re busy, they’re busy. It never hurts to call ahead and make sure no one else has an appointment for when you were planning on dropping by.
