I love this place because it’s Arsenal’s headquarter in Toronto. Food: I had the meat lover omelet, it’s so so… the place is definitely not on my list of places to dine, but to drink and watch a game… Atmosphere: Place is big and looking clean with the new renovation…

Been here a bunch of times this year. It’s massive inside! I saw a UFC fight there and it had a great atmosphere. Servers are good too. They check on you lots. It’s a little dark and grimey inside, and I wouldn’t say it is the nicest Fox I’ve ever been to, but the food is on par with others.

Went here earlier today for my coworker’s goodbye lunch. They were very good with their accommodation — was able to accommodate 14 people no problem during lunch. The place was not too busy and not loud unlike union social eatery down the street. I ordered the mushroom cheeseburger and it was a huge portion! Really good and I had it with their soup of the day — potatoes with bacon. Really really good. The burger was juicy and the toppings were made fresh. I don’t normally order burgers but I love mushrooms and cheese and it was pretty good. Not the best, but for $ 13 I think it did justice. Great place for coworkers to hang around. Good service. Fast and friendly.

Amazing bar and pub for an every night get together. Food is mediocre(typical pub food) and drinks are great but draught could sometimes be colder. The staff is what really makes it. They’re super friendly and know how to go from serious to joking. They love to have a good time. I definately only ever come back for the hilarious staff.

Leaning more towards 4.5 stars. Not your usual«Fox & Fiddle». Great food and drink selection, friendly service, and good daily specials to boot! They’ve got three amazing patios, including a non-smoking patio and a roof-top patio(worth the 4 stars alone)! A cozy bar and booths add to the intimate atmosphere, as does a pool table in the back and TVs EVERYWHERE(including a massive floor-to-ceiling projection screen in the main room). Of all the pubs in the neighbourhood, this is hands down the best — my go-to for good reason.

4* for being the home of Arsenal FC in Toronto! I should start by saying that I’m not the biggest fan of the Fiddle or Firkin chains in Toronto. I don’t have anything against either per se, but they don’t really offer anything exciting and as far as I’m concerned, they might as well have the same name(Firkin Fiddle?). That being said, this Fox is a bit different! The bar itself has a nice setup with multiple levels, patios, and area. The staff is friendly, and the bar manages to draw in very big crowds for Première League football(soccer). There have been a few hiccups during the past year or so, including not being able to show a game they said they would have the channel for, or mixing up orders etc. but I suppose that happens everywhere! There are often drink specials and the food has been alright in my experience. Overall, a good place for footie and a pint.

Great food, great service and reasonable prices! The staff here is wonderful, very attentive! I’ve ate here quite a few times and have always had a delicious meal! Drinks are reasonably priced which is hard to find in the city. They tend to have live music on the weekends at night which is always a good time.

Mediocre food and drink list. This is your typical everyday pub with no real frills. A good meeting spot with lots of space(including the upstairs patio). Service seems to be consistently friendly though every time I’ve been.

They finally invested some money into updating the patio, which would be nice, BUT: They keep turning on the sound of TV’s randomly so loud, that it’s impossible to have a conversation. They keep turning off that expensive-looking fan, because it’s located in the middle of thoroughfare and the bus boy who delivers food doesn’t like it blowing on him every time he passes by. The food SUCKS! There is too much smoking.

Came here for trivia night about a week or so ago. Tuesdays at 8 for anyone who likes bar trivia. The food was bad. Really bad. The buffalo chicken bites were of lower chicken quality than one gets in General Tao chicken and other similar breaded chicken dishes. They were made edible solely by the side I ordered of the four alarm hot sauce, which to their credit was actually quite spicy. The other dishes seemed about similar quality. A couple of redeeming features that bring up this rating: Service was very good, friendly and prompt Unlike some bars that think they’re too good for pitchers(seriously these places should have their bar license revoked), these guys DO offer pitchers, which is always worth a star in my books Trivia night was VERYWELL organized. The questions were tough but gettable, the pacing was perfect, and they were very generous with prizes. Overall a lot of fun and worth coming back for.

Living just up the street, we come here all the time and have never had a bad experience. It’s your typical neighbourhood pub but a few things distinguish it, in my opinion(other than the fact that it’s a 5 minute walk home). First of all, they have three patios(two roof and one streetside) that are huge so you can always get a spot in the patio which is key! The food isn’t gourmet but it’s very reasonably priced — try the chicken chipotle wrap for a $ 10 dinner! Service is usually attentive, quick and friendly… What more can you ask for! They have tons if televisions so you can always get your game on at least one. If you’re in the Yonge St. Clair area or you live there, this place is a great chill pub worth checking out!

My friends and I came in on a Saturday night expecting to have a few beers and have a good time. As I walk in, I have my ID ready as I look younger than the legal age to drink. The hostess takes a look at me upon arrival and has a smirk on her face as if i’m underage and trying to sneak in the bar. I hand her my Ontario photo card and she looks at it confused and saying«Oh, sorry we don’t accept this form of ID here.» … wait, what?! The whole purpose of an Ontario photo card is the prove age if you don’t have a drivers license or if you still have the red and white health card. At this point my friends and I are starting to get pretty annoyed, she has to show my card to another hostess who then doesn’t even know what type of card it is and then they call over who i’m assuming the manager was. He asks me several questions, trying to «trick» me, thinking it’s a fake ID. Now i’m getting really mad. Eventually they let us in, no apology. I walk up to the bar, the bartender asks for my ID, AGAIN. same thing happens. The bartender was very rude and again, no apology. Finally got my drink and the whole time felt very unwelcome there. Staff members looking at me like I didn’t belong. Overall, a horrible experience. Would not recommend going if you’re not a regular or if you look younger than 25 or you will be treated horribly. Customer service was horrible and drink selection was limited. If I could I would rate this pub 0⁄5 stars.

An average bar with friendly service. Beer selection is average. Food is average. Nothing bad about this place, but not superb amazing either. I would certainly choose to go in again if I’m in the area.

Came to keep my friend company before Trivia night started(I left before it started so I can’t comment on that part of the night). Hostess was friendly and helpful(letting us take a big booth to reserve for trivia night). Server was also very friendly and talkative, trying to encourage me to stay for trivia without being too pushy. I had a «non-virgin» Shirley Temple and it was really good. I liked the vibe of the place, but it’s really out of my way generally.

Since we had such abysmal lack of service at Boston Pizza, my friend and I came to our old standby– The Fox and the Fiddle. Our server was amazing. Quick with drinks and always made sure to come by and offer another. In fact, being a server myself, I’d say that she really knew her job and took care of her section with a great attitude, speed and friendliness without being fake. Lady, I don’t know what your name was, but if you are reading this, I’d like to let you know that you are my pick for server of the year! Unfortunately, our nachos(which are normally pretty close to perfect) consisted of chips that were mostly stale. Not badly stale but definitely not the delicious house made crispiness that we are used to. We didn’t send them back because we were really hungry and half the chips were ok. This place is like home and even when I fault it, I still love it. But I can’t figure out the bad Top 40 tunes blaring from the speakers. Most of the patrons looked to be over 30(including us). Maybe twitch the DMX to something a little more listener friendly or more of an upbeat mix rather than just tweenie tunes. Despite this we still had a great time.

Came here a few nights ago for a pint because the Rebel House, which I wanted to try, was full. Beers were meh and took awhile to come and the nachos though big, were pretty plain. Pretty Meh all around but I do want to check out the Trivia.

I come here with my softball team every thursday after our game, GOBATWINGS! Lol. The staff is really friendly and the food is good. Their best feature is that they have 3 patios. One on the street, 2nd floor, and rooftop(best one). The rooftop is the best choice because it has TVs up there for sport fans.

The only time that I go to the Fox & Fiddle is for the Tuesday night trivia. It starts at 9:00 and runs until 11:00. The host Terrance is funny, smart & cute. I have yet to win but that doesn’t matter, we have a great time. They usually have a beer special on Tuesdays. I’ve had the food a few times and it isn’t really anything to write home about. Stick to the beer and trivia.

The husband and I came here for a late night drink on Friday. I was delighted to learn that on Fridays, bar rail and domestic beers are $ 3 after 10pm. We were seated pretty quickly and service was pretty quick and very bubbly and friendly. He got a quesadilla, which he enjoyed, and I got some cocktails, which I enjoyed. A pretty good time overall, relaxing atmosphere, unobtrusive music, good price and good service. I’m certain we’ll be back. There’s also a pretty cool rooftop patio that we went to months and months ago.
