Popped in for a coffee and was given incorrect change. I don’t have patience for that, nor should anyone. I hope the pocketed $ 1.50 was worth the bad review.

A true treasure of the neighbourhood! Those who know how good it is, are loyal customers! This guy really knows his stuff.

It’s a taste of Italy, like other reviews have indicated! The espresso is smooth and their lattes are amazing… We must have it like once a week. He roasts his own beans too and while expensive, they make great coffee at home too.

Seb’s is a great little place on the Danforth that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into Italy for a moment. When you walk inside you see lots of Italian men sitting on barstools and at tables playing cards. Seb’s provides all sorts of caffeinated options for a price point similar to Starbucks, but oh so much better. I had a latte and it was literally one of the best lattes I have ever had — comparable to the ones I would sip on in Sicily every evening! Seb knows what he’s doing with those espresso beans! There is also a little take out window which would be great in the summer if you just want to stroll by without going in. This place is a great little Danforth gem and Seb makes you feel welcome Italian or not(ironically he thought my fiancé was the Italian one: P) I’d recommend stopping in if you want a great coffee, or you just want to watch a soccer game!

I roast my own coffee beans, so you might say I’m a bit particular when it comes to coffee. This place has the best espresso I’ve ever had.

This east-end joint is excellent for cappuccinos, and not too bad for an espresso. I ventured in one night and was pleasantly surprised! The espresso was a bit bitter and beans smelled slightly overroasted, but I’ll take what I can get in East York. There’s a certain old school charm to Seb’s. It’s a place where the neighbourhood gathers. When I entered there were old men in fedoras crowding around the TV, watching sports and mouthing words to each other. Seb served me the espresso and welcomed my first visit. In the span of my 5 minute stay, 3 customers appeared and Seb called out all their names. If you want to establish rapport, it’s all there.
