Incredible vibe here — real community atmosphere. Breathe of fresh air to the super corporate feeling coffee shops /restaurants. The staff have been stellar and the owner Ian(hopefully I spelt that right!) really makes you feel at home. True hospitality — 11⁄10 go here!

Stopped in after the Aquarium on a Unilocal whim. Greeted with a warm welcome at 4pm. Tapas were legit! Stew was hearty and warm, perfect for a cold, rainy Vancouver day. Pork belly was tasty, needed to be cooked and seared off a bit more to make it more tender, truffle mac n cheese got 2 thumbs up — rich and nice béchamel, truffle was not overpowering. Happy hour was OK — a few beers and 1 wine for $ 5. Full bar. First server was a bit inattentive, I get the feeling she was new, but she was switched out. Disappointed they were out of croissants for my morning treat! The cranberry-ginger scone was fluffy, not thick and dense but no ginger flavor. Check it out, nice view too

Watched this location for a couple years, finally a spot to visit! Great staff compliment a great menu. Only popped in for a coffee date with my girls but will be in for happy hour when babysitter permits. See you again, 6 Degrees!

Came here for the first time after hearing about it from a friend and to be honest, it was an amazing experience. Perfect place to go to if you want friendly service and nice cozy food! Would definitely recommend as a date place! Ordered the Maple Glazed Pork Belly, the portions were perfect with a nice cup of tea. Check it out to see what I mean!!!

Decided to stop by and check out their happy hour while visiting Vancouver and had an amazing experience. Food was incredible! I had the chicken sandwich from the lunch menu and a green tea. Service was even better, very friendly staff and welcoming environment. I highly recommend this place!

I saw this reviewed on the front page of Unilocal on December 29th, therefore, book marked it for future reference. I tried looking on their website first, however, they don’t publish their menu, therefore, you have to go in and see. For future reference it would be helpful for publishing menu especially for out of town guests. I love the décor of the place. I will admit that I felt intimidated going in at first for the reason is that it looks so fancy inside, however, the menu is comfort simple food at very reasonable prices. I love the bowls and plates that look like a golf ball has been split opened and then stretched. I ordered the Tomato soup which was extremely flavorful. Normally when I have tomato soup it just tastes like tomatoes, however, they went above and beyond to put some flavor into the body of the soup. I had a decafe latte with almond milk. It was a very good latte. The barista Ian even made unintentional latte art that looked like the planet Jupiter. I think that he was telling me that the latte was out of this world which was not too far off of a statement. I had the Salmon salad with cauliflower. The sauce which had an extremely strong sour profile didn’t seem to go well with the salmon. They did try and mix the flavors with the raisins. The flavor profiling was a little off the map. I believe with a little tweaking this would be good. Maybe tone down the sourness so that we can taste the salmon against the sauce and the sweetness has more of a chance to shine rather than compete with the flavors. On the menu description it was vague, therefore, I didn’t know until it was plated as to what I was getting. The customer service was beyond awesome and sociable. I felt the passion, the welcomeness and the good humor.

Great cozy area in coal harbour with great coffee, amazing beer on tap, and a really awesome view. The staff were really friendly. As well the mac and cheese is dangerously good if you are looking for suggestions.

I came in last week for happy hour and got the Mac and cheese with a beer, it was very well priced! I have tried Mac and cheese at many other restaurants around Vancouver, but this one is definitely the best! The staff were friendly, and the owners Karen and Iain made sure we were well taken care of. I would definitely come back, love the food and atmosphere.

It’s about time! We’ve been waiting for a place in our neighbourhood like this. There is a lack of sense of community in Vancouver these days. Especially in the transient, tourist atmosphere in Coal Harbour. You will not be disappointed with the warmth from the staff, and the co-owner, Ian. He immediately came to greet me and thank me for the business. The baristas are young and vibrant. The décor is comfortable, and eclectic but not over the top. My fingers and toes are crossed for this welcomed café to do well in this area. They have reasonable hours which make a comfy space to study. My hope for this eatery is for it to be consistent with its customer service, warmth and cleanliness. Most places in this area have lacked consistency in all three domains. The prices are reasonable. Come in and try this joint which has been closed for way too long! Good luck to this café.
