Came here because chatime was out of pearls– bad decision. The matcha milk tea itself was ok but the«red bean» they put on top was unlike anything I have ever had. tasted like stale ground up coffee beans. not quite sure what I just ate :|

Holy Cow! Wow it’s one of the worst milk tea we ever had. It was a cold winter’s day… we asked do you make hot hong kong milk tea? They replied yes we do… then nightmare begins… They pump out some tea from big canister and put it into a pot and they started warming up the tea on some kind of make shift stove top(gulp) Then they mix in some powder carnation(my husband and I exchanged panic looks) !!! Sorry but real hong kong milk tea is not made with powder crap… and it tasted horrible as expected. Wish they just said«sorry no we don’t make hot hong kong milk tea».

Now let me start with letting you know that I’ve been to many a bubble tea shop in my days. Bubble World, while not amazing, definitely gets the job done. The interior leaves much to be desired, especially in terms of seating. Angela ordered taro milk tea with pearls(which cost $ 0.75 to add on– what happened to the days of free pearls?) and I ordered taro slush. Both were pretty run-of-the-mill. The taro slush had good consistency but felt a little watery. The milk tea was better, in my opinion, but also felt a bit diluted. If I was to come back, I would definitely go for the Oreo taro slush as that seemed to be quite popular. If you’re strolling down Robson street with a craving for bubble tea, this place will do the trick, just don’t count on finding a seat inside.

I would give 3.5 stars if I could, but just couldn’t give 4 stars. The milk tea tasted very good, pretty sweet with regular sugar. For me the boba(the most important part) was too gooey. I like my boba more gummy. The eats were a mixed bag. The pork chops were great, while the onion pancake was pretty mediocre at best(no taste and was kinda soggy). Overall the service was just okay and it’s a typical hole in the wall boba place, nothing crazy special.

so sad. my friends and I really wanted to like this place but everything we ordered was disappointing. as every good bubble tea place should be, the signature milk tea should be great! but it wasn’t, much like plain skim milk :(

This is a review just base on my Green Apple Green Tea with Mango Jelly! Holy Moly! Best Green Apple Green Tea with mango jelly I have ever had! I always order my Green Apple Green Tea with Mango Jelly, I had order that drink in LA area, Orange County, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle literally anywhere I been to & seriously hands down they made the best Green Apple Green Tea. It had the perfect amount of sweetness, with a refreshing taste of the tea as well and a hint of green apple! Most places that make it has more of the over powering green apple taste that’s pack with sugar which I mostly just wait til my ice melt to unsweetened the Boba drink. But in this case the drink was just perfect! My friend order a Peach Green tea with aloe and we both agreed it was one of the best Boba place we been too! Weekdays they close at 12AM and weekends they close at 1AM! We are definitely going to stop by before we leave Vancouver. We gotta get our Boba fix! We got too excited and finish our drinks before we got to take a pix :( But I promise the Boba here is amazing!

taro milk tea ftw! This is the best bobba in town. Price is reasonable and the serving is always huge. They serve hot meals too. My favorite is their salty peppery chicken nuggets. This is taiwanese style popcorn chicken and the best i’ve had in years. Really close to the ones in taiwan, even better than hot star! $ 5.95 which is huge and super filling!!! I come by twice to thrice a month just cause it is soooo darn good! For their super good drinks, Must order is their Taro Slush. You can add pearls or jellies, can lessen sweetness too, just tell them

I give up on this place, have tried it several times and they seem to use lots of artificial flavours/colours/syrups. I ordered a fresh fruit kiwi juice with no extra sugar since their drinks are usually overly sweet, and it came out a neon green colour(fresh kiwis are bright green, but not food colouring green), and puckeringly sour with a strangely fake kiwi flavor and that tooth achingly sweet high fructose aftertaste(probably from the syrup). I think it must have had 1⁄3 of kiwi in there at most. Yuck. Threw it out halfway through because I could not make myself finish it. They have a long way to go to compare to the fresh fruit BBT at Dragon Ball.

Still the best bubble tea store out there! All the locations across the lower mainland are consistent with their ingredients! I just wish the Robson location Would have the stamp card so I could get a free drink!

This is the best bubble tea in Canada. I used to lived in Taiwan and China, and I know the real local bubble tea. This bubble tea is the same one as the real local one. I am addicted this bubble tea because it is so delicious!

This joint has a special place in my heart. It was where I first realized I could blend strawberry slush and mango slush together to form a strawberry-mango slush bbt. It was also where I ordered my first Taro slush bbt(jul 3⁄15) in my life. It was so good! I have a sweet tooth, but I would probably order the taro half sweet next time. Definitely has space for enough bbt fans to enjoy catching up and socializing. They also have coin vending machines filled with cute up to date trinkets. This is one of my go to places because they always give me enough bubbles and they are more often than not, efficient. :)

My place for bubble tea whenever I visit Canada. Yes, I have tried many(10 +) tea places in Vancouver and Richmond area and bubble world stood up among others. The tea flavor is strong, bubbles are chewy with a sweet touch, not too soft. Don’t go to those buy one get one free places, this is the best. They also have pretty good selection of Tawain style food, judging by the amount if customers, I am sure it is good as well. Price is a bit high, about $ 5 per drink, and service is average. The servers are always too busy for customers. I think it is a common service standard in this area. Coming from USA, I wonder if the Canadian ever tip at all because the service in Chinese owned places are generally bad.

The prices on the internet are wrong, to my delight! Everything’s cheaper than it says on by heir website. Anyway, I came here with some friends on a Saturday evening, and I ordered an earl grey milk tea without ice and very very little sugar. It was great! The tea flavor was good, and I really enjoyed it. My friend got a jasmine green tea which was really strange, and my other friend got a peach tea with pearls which was way too sweet. I really liked my earl grey though. The ambiance is nice too; there’s plenty of tables and chairs to chill at, and there are two gaming consoles that you can play for free. Cool place! My drink was $ 3.60 after tax, and the size was pretty good. I’d be back here if i lived in Vancouver!

My favourite bubble tea place in downtown vancouver go here a couple of days every week. The staff there is always friendly and the price is great. My personal favourites there are fresh Taro, Tofu dessert, watermelon and Japanese Ice cream slush. They can also customise your order if you ask them to make it less sweet or more sweet whichever you prefer. The food there is also wonderful and you have to try the Tawainese style chicken nuggets which are to die for. I also personally like the chinese beef pancake and squid tentacles but nuggets are a must. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Never thought I’d ever pop in here, but I did after surfing the web for fresh papaya smoothies! Bonus! You get to have tapioca pearls, or «bubbles», here! I like fresh papaya smoothies. As papaya is not a hardy fruit, nor is it very popular, most places are reluctant to buy and store them. As a result, I scramble to find bubble tea cafes that offer fresh papaya and milk. But, here is one — for those of you who care! I had one yesterday and it was quite good. They’ll also customize it for you — I always ask that they eliminate the scoop of syrup. It just makes bubble tea a little less sugary! There seems to be food available as well. And loads of entertainment! Very unique, and perhaps a little strange. For now, if I’m back, I’m back for the papaya!

I come here to get my BBT fix(usually either lychee or peach green tea with pearls). They have gaming consoles set up(free to play) so you can whoop someone at Street Fighter if u want.

My boyfriend and I always come here since we live on Jervis. The lady at the counter is always very nice. They have a single washroom stall for both men and women which is big and kept clean. Every bubble tea drink we have had was exceptional. They have a huge variety and probably the best bbt place in West End.

I enjoyed the green milk tea. Good tea flavor and the boba was chewy and sweet. What I came here for were the squid tentacles! I love squid tentacles! They were just a tiny bit spicy and lightly fried.

Came down for a bubble tea. Parking is available along the side streets, or you can throw money away at the meters. The inside is pretty beaten up — it feels like a half renovated house, right down to the mismatched tables and chairs. One of the chairs is the office type with wheels, for crying out loud. There is also a video game section. There is food available here, but the food menu is taped to a wall. It was annoying because this is also where the line up is located, so I was bumping shoulders with random people trying to read the damn thing. The bubble tea was decent, but I couldn’t be sure if it was real fruit, or the crappy powder variety.
