It’s not the cheapest place, but the clothes are gorgeous. Nevertheless, you may not find what you were looking for, but the experience of being in the fitting room is great. And, let’s be honest, it’s a great selfie spot.

complexgeometries is a Canadian label taking the concept of basic apparel to the next level. Layout of the store is very basic. I almost feel that there is more space than clothes and that the bareness makes it feel like there is something missing or that these guys don’t have intention of being here long even though this is far from the truth. Prices are $$ as expected. Customer service was friendly.

I had avoided going in the store for a while whenever I saw it on my coffee breaks as I knew it was going to be dangerous when i did… I was right. their clothing is outstanding. The quality, comfiness, and the lines of the design — perfect. Its the oversized/drapy look but not the«i just bought a size to large» look. So simplistic, but the tailoring is wonderful and you can tell the quality of the clothes. Its very obvious there was a lot of thought and design put behind each piece. I have sinced purchased my most favoritest boots from there(super comfy and versatile) and just bought the Giant Square Hoodie, which I am very very stoked about. The customer service in store was great, the two guys were very nice and down to earth. The customer service for their online store was lovely — they answered promptly, were courteous and gave me lots of information. i’m hooked.

Modern, fashionable and versatile. The clothes here are beautiful and extremely comfortable to wear. It’s a little bit pricier, but it’s worth it for the wear you will get out of it. Most of their items can be worn in multiple ways and the materials are soft and cozy. From the fashion sense it reminds me of Rick Owen designs without the hefty price tag. Adam the Store Manager is extremely helpful and friendly. I will most definitely shop here again and I am pleased as punch to have a new favourite store to fuel my excessive shopping addiction. Hey, it ain’t a problem if you don’t admit it!

In August, ComplexGeometries opened its first bricks and mortar retail location in Gastown. But it was only at the recent Gastown ShopHop that I came across this flagship store and found out more about the brand. ComplexGeometrics caught my eye because of its bright white and spacious interior which stood out like a beacon of light on a dark Thursday evening at the Gastown ShopHop. The minimalistic interior gives the shop a premium shopping experience, like you are shopping at a gallery of one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork. Several of the pieces are unisex — long asymmetrical t-shirts, sweater wraps with oversized hoods(which I love for winter!), capes, etc. Many of the sizes available are generally only S/M/L. If you have a smaller frame like me, you may find that many of their pieces end up draping on you — which is totally fine, if that’s the oversized, cozy look you are going for. There seems to only be a minimal number of colours available for the Fall season — mainly black, cream, maroon and different shades of grey.
