Friendly staff. Service wasn’t super quick but the waffle I ordered was next level in design, presentation, and tasted superb. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a nice small independently owned business to support. Instead of going to the Starbucks that’s on the next block. Quality food and excellent service.

This place is adorable and kind of off the beaten trail. They have healthy options and not so healthy as well. I shared a brie and apple panini and spinach and feta benny. Both were simple and delicious. The potatoes that came with the benny were pretty good. The salad was an average little salad itself, but I really liked the dressing that appeared homemade. I loved the citrus notes it had. The girl behind the counter was bubbly and friendly, which matched the bright and upbeat environment of the restaurant. Great place for moms to bring their kids and have a coffee or tea, maybe a pastry(they looked pretty good), or even a healthy little brunch/lunch while the little ones play in the play area.

Local gem owned by local and environmental and health conscious couple. Amazing to go for a coffee with a friend if you have a toddler.

loved their sous vide eggs benny with canadian ham. $ 12 or $ 13 not quite sure. But I’ve been wanting to try anything sous vide and I came to the right place. Price was just right. The only thing is the maybe the lack of staff during busy hours. I went there and lots of people were lining up but I ended up waiting for my food for more than what i was told. Nonetheless, I would still come back. I love their outside seating, so quaint. The service was great btw, really accommodating staff, it was just too busy when i got there. so til next time. Btw, this spot is perfect for kids, such a healthy and inviting atmosphere as i stepped in. There was a small play area/display which is really cute.

The croissants with jam and butter are delicious and you’ve got to try their berry smoothie. Yum. As for the ‘eco friendly’ straws that break as soon as you suck on them, they could probably be done away with. Ok coffee and nice family vibe in there.

Darcy’s is designed for moms to come with their kids, which I imagine is a great thing for moms and a real selling point for families. It’s not for me, so I try to time my visits to when kids might be less likely to stop by. Small menu, but really fantastic food. Some very inventive, delicious paninis! Really good loose leaf tea. The strawberry & whipped cream waffle was all right. Pastries are always really tempting, and I’m planning on making it my next stop for afternoon tea. Service is really attentive and the staff are friendly.(And also nerdy. I’ve seen some good geek t-shirts!)

Have children? Have loud children? Have loud children who love bake goods? Darcy’s Café is the place to go! I was so shocked when I walked into the little café and found it filled with young families and adorable children. The café has a welcoming and playful vibe and everything is made to be kid-friendly. I was lucky enough to sit down and talk with the owner and he explained how the café is named after his 2 year old son and is made to cater to the family-oriented Point Grey area. Great idea, huh? I hope him and his café the very best! Check it out you and your little ones are in the area :)

So far, the worst part about Darcy’s for me is trying to resist the yummy looking dessert selection while picking up my lunch! Great selection for vegetarians, love to support local businesses, beautiful little café & wonderful, friendly owner who actually remembers his customer’s names.

My favourite café in Point Grey — truly home cooked, healthy, organic DELICIOUS food. Oh my goodness and the baked treats! I recommend this family run Café to everyone I meet especially for their glorious, magical birthday cakes. When my business runs Date Night in our studio we love to order Darcy’s Café food for the little ones. A very pretty Café as well with lovely, thoughtful toys for the kids to delight themselves with while the parents and their friends chatter. Madelyn M.
