Like many I too want a magazine worthy home and with the keen eye of the store owner Kelly, the goal was reached! What I appreciated most and set this store apart from others was the willingness on the owner’s part to spend the time needed to guide me through the process of designing a fully functional, yet breathtaking space. There was no rush, no upsale, just a genuine interest in assisting me in making the right choice at the right price, which ultimately turned my space into all it can be. Thank-you Kelly and staff for making for such a pleasant shopping experience and please keep being unique, your one of a kind quality reclaimed pieces makes my heart sing!

Terrible customer service, no refunds or store credit on sale merchandise even when it is defective! Shocking but true in 2011! Attitude of sales people when I spoke to the staff was that the owners would not like to hear from me and that they are in California!

This shop has some pretty weird stuff in the back … moose and deer head door knockers, a bunch of stuff with antlers(but not real ones, just figurines) and other animal-themed decorations that I found a bit creepy. I did visit in the Christmas season, and the store does have a lot of festive cheer going on. There is an amazing selection of fancy Christmas tree ornaments, beautiful ribbon(if you don’t mind paying $ 16 for a roll of ribbon), and lots of stuff saying«Peace» and«Joy» and other merriment-spreading type decorations to clutter your basement storage space for 11.5 months of the year. They had a great selection of candles — both stubby and tall-n-tapered, so I ended up with some of those for the festive meals soon to come. None of the furniture really jumped out at me, but I don’t live in a ranch house. If you do, perhaps you would like to have a gander in this shop.

Being that I’m writing this review in the lead up to Christmas, the numbers of ornaments on the trees at the Farmhouse store on Granville are unbelievable. A great spot to look if you’ve got any ‘give-a-ornament-each-year’ traditions. Or, if you just have a penchant for shiny things. The furniture falls into the cute and clean but rustic bracket. But with all the faux finishes in this store, the en-mass effect can be a little overwhelming. All the furniture is made locally, which means far less pollutants in terms of shipping. A decent spot to peruse if you’re in the market for some new swanky furniture.
