The location is awesome, as it is located right on Denman where lots of stores/restaurants are. It is connected to a Buffalo’s World Famous Wings. So I actually ate at Buffalo’s and got fish and chips and hubby ate at Fatburger and got a burger and poutine. The inside of the place is decent. Didn’t look dirty to the naked eye, and the guy who took our order was nice. The amount of wait time to get our food was not bad, it took less than 15min. I’ve been to a Fatburger before in Vegas and I had a turkey burger and it was awesome so I assumed this place would taste great as well. I was sadly disappointed. The burger wasn’t horrible, it was just a bit dry. And that was my hubby’s food! With my food,(fish and chips) the fries were alright but the cod fish could have been cooked longer. It wasn’t terrible but it certainly wasn’t the best either. Now, what did taste great was the poutine! That was amazing! Right amount of gravy and just enough cheese curds! Overall I am only giving this place a 3 star rating because of the burger and fish. But everything else was decent.

This specific restaurant is well managed and clean. The manager is attentive at all times. The burgers are well made, the ingredients seem fresh. I think the problem is that the core burger recipes are just not that tasty, probably the relish.

I ate here with my family a week ago. When we sat down there were ants on the table but i thought no big deal we still ordered breakfast which came with more ants and they were swimming in the maple syrup we left disgusted never to return. Everytime i pass i cringe. My 6 year old son keeps asking me to go he says he wants to see the ants. Lol. fortunetly thats never happening. I hope this place gets cleaned up. Even then i wont go though.

It’s a Fatburger so you pretty much know what to expect. We went here because we don’t have poutines in the states and our hotel recommended theirs. They were underwhelming, but I can see the promise in them. Next time I visit the neighbors to the north I’ll give another place a try for poutines.

I had heard lots of good reviews about this place so I was excited to try their veggie burger. Burger was nice. That is until I saw a mouse scurry across the floor!!! It is very close to stanly park so that is probably the reason for the occasional mouse, however it’s not the first fast food place on Denman that I’ve seen a mouse.

For a burger joint this place is over priced and the meat has no flavor to it. More for your value at Veras and that is not saying much. The customer service is friendly and there is a little atmosphere.

business model is pure fail. I should know better than to patronize Groupon participants, but I figured what the heck why not try them out. The first thing I noticed is the lame attitude of the princess behind the counter. Total cow and to top it off they expect payment and tip up front. Needless to say she was as impressed with my tip as i was with her terrible attitude. The burger was nothing special certainly unworthy of the special price let alone the regular one. Salt galore and hard nibblets in the beef. The fries were also nothing special and the milkshake was unecsessarily sweet. All in all I won’t be returning, this place needs a serious attitude adjustment and a business model change.

By far the best hamburger I’ve had in Vancouver so far — and I’ve tried Vera’s. The burger is a good size and lots of variations to choose from. I’ve had the BBQ burger and the cheeseburger and both were second to none. Juicy, full of flavour and not greasy at all. The fires are amazing, too! The prices are a bit more expensive, but believe me – it’s well worth it!

a little pricier than vera’s– but you essentially get what you paid for. A piping hot, evenly cooked patty(do they steam it?) without the hockey puck/char texture that just tastes good. Add to that the seating is a LOT better than 5 guys(and you can buy booze here!) and you have a winning combo.

The best location by far; the rest are just tiny pickup joints, this one you can actually sit down with a throwback to the 50s diner style, booths, checkered tiles and all. Burgers to me are a notch down from Vera’s, but their milkshakes are good. nice to see them back in business after that car slammed into the front windows last month, some minor injuries by police officers waiting in line.

A little pricey, but food was delicious. Juicy burgers are a little messy, but well worth the trouble. They have hot sauce and Lowry’s seasoning at the table which go great with their fries. If you’re looking for a great burger place this is it.

OMG, Bacon Cheese burger with any possible topping,(pineapple, avocado, more cheese, onion ring, etc.), a bag of fries and a sleeve of beer for less than $ 13!!! Excellent food, great service, clean visible kitchen, best burger I have ever had! Not to mention free parking off street behind the joint! Awesome!

The meat and the bacon are quite outstanding. The service is awesome. The only reason why I put 4 stars instead of 5 is the music: mean, it’s all on a 50s-60s style yet the music is Maroon 5 and Katy Perry and that… Not that I hate them, but I think it doesn’t fit. Tried to look for Lewis or Cash or Elvis or something in the rockola but the oldest I found were 70’s. Then again not that of a big deal but it’d be a nice improvement.

My partner and I took a little vacation to Vancouver BC and we were looking for a good burger joint, and we remembered this place that we had gone too a few years back. First of all, they have done a lot of upgrades to this place. It’s a lot cleaner and a great place to chill. I enjoyed how they had an open«garage door» to let in the nice harbor breeze, and the TV that they had was on mute, which was nice. The food was great. I had the California Burger and a side of fries. The burger was good, but my only complaint about it was the guacamole on it was WAYTOOSALTY. My mouth was dry and it felt swollen with all that salt in it. I was kind of disappointed with the fries. I think the fries would have been better if they were freshly cut fries. For the price that we paid for it, it would have been better if they were fresh cut fries. All in all, it was a good experience, and the food was good! A must if you are visiting Vancouver BC over on the West End!

Ok — here I am again — wine flu is making my head ache and dehydration levels are dangerously high. The only solutions is to douse myself in grease before I fly out to the Olympics tonight — fingers crossed I dont yak up my chicken fingers and fries(gravy too, never forget the gravy). The girl behind the counter appears new or hard of hearing, yes patience levels also dangerously low, I dont think repeating my order 5 times is neccessary but hey we all have off days, right ? My food is hot, piping in fact, it does the trick in a pinch. Please light a candle for me for the whole yakking thing though…

We just came back from watching the Canucks lose at Fatburger, but we «scored» a great meal at this place. The place is clean and well serviced by the friendly staff. The game was playing on 2 TVs. I’ve also watched International soccer here. We had two specialty burgers, a chili fries which came with sour cream and fresh guacamole, a Caesar salad and two pints of beef for $ 36 A little on the the pricey side, but the food was excellent and you can’t compare it to fast food outlets. I had the mushroom/cheddar burger and the mushrooms tasted real & grilled. The meat was well cooked and still juicy. These burgers actually looked like the pictures! We picked up the frequent purchase card to get one free because we’ll be back!

This was my first Fatburger experience. Something about the name made me think that the tables would be smeared in bacon grease and everything would be sweaty and glistening. Actually, this location is very clean, and the service is quick and efficient. After you order, they give you a number and bring the food to your table. The burgers are definitely a good size, as are the fries. I had the veggie burger while my boyfriend had the mushroom swiss. The veggie burger was better than expected, and my boyfriend quite liked his burger. The veggie burger had a certain. «meatiness» to it in the sense that you feel very fulfilled afterwards. It isn’t cheap. A burger with fries comes out to the same price you’d pay at one of the local pubs or bars, minus drinks and tip. Good for if you are craving a quick meal or takeout, but don’t want a tiny sad looking burger from the other fast food joints. One lemonade, two burgers with one fries came out to just over $ 22(luckily we had a groupon). There is also a Vera’s just steps away but I haven’t been there yet so can’t compare the two.

Ohhh myy goddd. Melted swiss cheese and caramelized mushrooms on a burger sounds as good to me as dung to a dung beatle??? ANYWAY, it’s amazing. But really, the mushrooms are the star of the show. Y’know that distinct earthy buttery taste you get from mushrooms? Well, y’get lots of that taste here but with different kind of textures since the meat comes into play. But seriously, I held myself back from eating too much. Although, I could have devoured the whole thing even though I had a giant ass bowl of ramen before. It came with fries and my sister also ordered a Vanilla milkshake. The fries were straight-out-the-fryer hot and with the ketchup, they tasted great as well. Although, I’m not a huge french fry fan, when it’s fresh, I don’t mind. The vanilla milkshake was the«dessert». And it tasted like a regular vanilla milkshake. Nothing spectacular. Wasn’t too thick or watery.(HATEHATEHATE watery milkshakes) Overall: Melted Cheese + Mushrooms — — — — — — — — — — — — — = Defuckinlicious Burger
