Cheap burgers but not the best burgers. A slight step up from the other fast food places, however, not by much. I wanted to give this place a try since I wasn’t too sure about the other options that were available. To me they tasted like White Spot burgers which isn’t a bad thing, just not a spectacular thing. In addition to the prices being awesome, especially for students they were fast in making the burger. I suggest you Combo up for better value.

First!!! Ok, now that I have that out of the way onto my review. Tucked away in the bottom of the new AMSSUB is Flipside. I suppose it’s a refresh of the Burger bar that was typically found in the basement of the old SUB. I ordered a BC Burger(Cheese, Onion, Lettuce, Bacon, Tomatoes on a hamburger) and combo’d up(fries and a drink) which came out to $ 10. Service was quick and the food was decent. I found the bun and insides to be quite dry. It was flavourful and I enjoyed their special sauce’s creamy and tangy flavour, but found the whole burger overall to be a bit dry. The fries were cooked to a nice golden brown and fluffy on the inside. I would like a bit more seasoning on the fries but that might just be my preference. Overall this place isn’t bad, nor is it good. I suspect if I’m at campus late and need something to eat I will consider stopping by here. As with some of the food on campus I feel that the prices are a bit inflated and the increase in price doesn’t necessarily reflect better quality like places off of campus.
