Everything here is picture perfect. I saw this reviewed on the front page of Unilocal on August 9th and book marked it for future reference. I kid you not, everything, the sandwiches has a croissant as the bun… hence the name. They have sweet and savory croissants. Nice, butter and well prepared. I had the breakfast croissant sandwich as well as the almond one. I am sure that I used all my cheat points and then some but I walked out happy as a kitten.

Omnomnom! I come to Footo Croissant when I’m in the mood for something delicious. I love their croissant eggs Benedict and eggs florentine, those croissants are hella bomb and take it all to the next level. My biggest complaint is the atmosphere, thin over sized awkward wicker chairs in a cavernous space do not a cozy space make. And it’s freezing in there! I’ll have to come back in the summertime for the full experience I guess.

CROISSANT! CROISSANT! It’s part of the name and rightfully so. Their croissants are fantastic. Light, flaky layers, tasty. They also experiment with unconventional flavors which they achieve masterfully. Be adventurous and get one. You won’t be disappointed! Coffee wise, it was fine but nothing special. It is nice seating by the window where you can see the little heritage houses in Yaletown across the street.

REALLY tasty eggs Benedict croissant. Nice pot of tea, fast wifi. The 2 girls working here really seem to be detail-oriented and everything is perfect, I’ll be stopping in a lot more often to try more of the menu options

Great croissants and friendly staff make this place a nice spot to have in the neighbourhood. A real nice treat on a lazy weekend morning. Try the chocolate hazelnut, maple bacon or on the more conservative side the cheese croissant is amazing.

We ate hear on our first morning in Yaletown. Flaky croissants with plenty of variety to choose from, but it just wasn’t memorable for me to make a second trip back. Sweet staff & super clean, just not(personally) my kind of breakfast.

So good. Best japanese style croissant I’ve had in recent memory. The buttery taste, soft, smooth, rounded dough inside. Love it.

I love this place. Soft music in the morning and delicious croissants… freshly baked… chewy and just to die for. The girls are so sweet too. My husband had the smoked salmon eggs benny and raved about it. Favorite new breakfast place!

The croissants here are very good! I’ve returned a few times; I mostly just order the croissants. They’re soft, flaky, and crispy on the outside. Eating in is a little awkward — the place is small, and the seating so crowded together, that I had to rearrange things just to sit down.

Awesome place. Found it by chance the first time and now i live pretty close to it. The maple bacon croissant is perfect, the best I’ve ever had. Great coffee too and a lot of other yummy choices. Highly recommend

Came here thanks to the Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. We got the eggs Benedict croissant, garlic croissant and a coffee. The eggs benny was very good, though I almost feel like it took away from the croissant. Garlic croissant was crispy and flakey and filled with lots of fresh garlic and made a great combination. The small coffee was actually quite big and I couldn’t even finish it. Service was very good, the girl who worked there was really nice and let me change my croissant option even after she had put it in the oven. It took a long time for our croissants to be served but I think its because it takes longer to prepare the eggs compared to the regular croissants. The interior furniture looked like a strange mix random furniture sets.

I was brought here by a local after the line at Café Medina was already 90 minutes before they even opened! We got an assortment of croissants to try. At 9AM on a Sunday morning, FOOTO was fairly quiet, which surprised me. It’s definitely a café with some limited seating. The three of us managed to grab the one setup for four… the seating area was definitely designed more for lounging than sharing a bite. We had… The apple cheddar: This was sweeter than I expected. The cheddar flavor was pretty light and didn’t have quite the sharpness I would have hoped for to balance out the apple. I enjoyed it, but it was more of a sweet croissant than savory. The blueberry lavender. Delightful. The floral flavor of the was a nice complement to the blueberry. The spinach and feta was a nice savory version, reminiscent of spanokopita. Finally we had the pistachio white chocolate. This one sounded better than it was. Definitely a nice place to pick up some unique and tasty treats!

Good croissants. Lovely location to sit outside with friends in the summer. I tried almonds croissant, maple bacon, cheese and chocolate croissants. Everything tastes really good. The price could be better though.

Wide range and unique flavours! I like to go at 9:30 for one of their fresh batches. Yumm! I like the spinach and cheese or the chocolate one. I hear that the pistachio one is delicious though.

The croissant are good. I love the almond, apple cheese and chocolate Hazelnut croissant. Good thing as they was on Homer St before in a very smaller location. So I’m glad for them they can make-it on Hamilton St in a bigger place. Next to the ROSIES Hotel and hum hum next to the fire house. Help! I’m on fire… Just kidding ;)… The macaroon are also good. Don’t go they’re at the end of the day. The freshness is sometimes missing. Big No No… TOOMUCH table and chairs… Doesn’t even fit together and it feel super cramped… But yes… I’m always coming back cuz it’s close to my crib.

Friendly customer service. You can see the ovens to bake the croissant but croissants not fresh because the turnover of product is not high enough. Their slogan is true, fresh out the oven. Too bad it is not hot when you eat it. We asked the croissants to be warmed up. Yet, the inside filling was still cold. The flakiness is not there for what I like in a croissant. If you are familiar with Terra Bread. This is not to the Terra Bred level yet. Their drip coffee is good. No refills. Ordered, the apple cheddar filled, almond, and garlic. To drink, the drip coffee.

Like my friend DA I think I’ve just found my secret coffee shop! Shhh… Don’t tell anyone but it’s called Footo Croissant! Very close to where I live and away from the zombie filled local Starbucks, I discovered this gem while trolling the streets like a money starved prostitute! Haha 2:30 pm on a Friday afternoon and there is only one other patron in the shop! He’s busy on his laptop trying to figure out if he’s a ‘Nowhere man’(reference The Beatles) or if he types his name in Google and presses enter something comes back! Haha suffice to say this shop is quiet! No background jazz or pop rock top 40 dribble here! Great for reading! I asked the girl working at the counter what’s their most popular croissant to go with my coffee… Almond Croissant was her answer. Freshly baked, after taking one bite, it even makes an atheist like me believe in a God! Haha. Crispy on the outside and soft inside… a bit sweet and a hint of almond… Truly heavenly! Seating is comfortable! I think I’ll be spending more of my wasted afternoons at Footo Croissant!

2 days ago I walked by this little bakery which I had never even noticed! I tried their macaroons and they were extremely well made~ the difficulty it must have taken to have just the right amount of «airy» bite down for each macaroon has been perfected by this skilful artisan! The only thing is that I wish that they had more flavours! So I came back today, as I was still thinking about the croissants I had seen the other day; today I tried the blueberry lavender croissant and it was absolutely amazing! My first thought ‚“how can this croissant be better than what I have had in PAris?!“ This place is definitely going to become my second home now that I have discovered it! The price is also very reasonable; 5 macaroons for $ 4.75! Great deal!

It’s no secret that I love French food, I spent my summers in France running down to the boulangerie and biting the tops of baguettes on the way home. I doubt one baguette ever got back to my mother entirely unscathed. So it is with disappointment that I realized Vancouver just does not do French food that well, especially breads and pastries. So you can understand my reticence when I moved in next to Footo. Every day I walked by wondering why an Asian family would open a croissant store. They continually advertised macarons in increasingly discount pricing making me think that these macrons were the spinsters left on the shelf of pastry life. But their adverts for pistachio and white chocolate croissants and maple bacon(how very ahem *Québécois*, I guess) croissants drew me in. I love the idea of innovative croissant fillings! I opted for a safe hazelnut chocolate, all the while giving a side-eye to the sad macrons on the counter. This place is so sad and bleak inside, they’ve given no thought or consideration to the appearance and just chucked a bunch of tables there. Even the case holding the croissants is a bit murky and unappealing. Croissants of this description should be heralded! So I left with my croissant, which was flaky and tasty and certainly better than anything else you’d get in this town. But the place is just a bit too grimy for frequent visits. The staff are friendly and the croissants are freshly baked — they can easily make a lot more of this café than they do.

Honestly, croissant are good if you are lucky on not to find them cold. I believe that they should put way more care on how to serve their products. Place looks depressing and almost a garage, there is no care at all about aesthetic. Good croissant(if not cold) but presented and served in a disappointing way. It’s an OK bakery
