Usually don’t eat out, but this place has a great salad bar, lots of variety. Houmus, plus hot meats from the steam tray can also be added to a salad(at the same price per ounce), so has enough protein, And the daily hot«specials» look good too. The place is busy during lunch time, but gives off the vibe of being a bit of an «oasis» for regulars taking a work break. This is noted as a «family business» in reviews, which seems to have a positive meaning. For me it indicates that they are really«invested» in the place and pay more attention to the customers, food and service, than most quick meal places with a lot of turn over. They are experienced at what they do, and it shows.

Delicious food! Staff are all very friendly. Speedy service for when you don’t have much time for lunch and they do takeaway.

So delicious. Falafel wrap was light, tasty and filling. Baklava was fresh made that day and delicate and nutty. Friendly, friendly folks. Be back tomorrow.

It likes a family business, they are very friendly, I like the soups very much and Recomend salads dish, but shawerma wrap is small and it can not be count as a portion,

Wow, this place gets packed! I got chicken shawarma rice. The food was ok. Was a bit oily. It is really expensive for how much you get though. The location is very convenient, so I may try different things.

They have the best Falafel in TOWN! I love the falafel wrap as well as the vegetarian platter. The food is always fresh and healthy! Very friendly service!

I wanted to love this place and make it my new dinner go-to. Having said that… I just can’t. The salad bar, which is what I came in for, was oddly stocked and just a huge mess. The place was pretty much empty other than family of the owners, so I’m not sure why anyone didn’t take the time to tidy or clean up. The salad bar, stay in, has the weird really large plastic salad bowls… So unappetizing. The chicken, which I got from the front, was… Flavorless. I’ll stick to my buddy at the Donair Spot on Robson, it’s better value and much more flavorful, plus extremely tidy and I can get exactly what I want.

The salad bar was just what I needed after a nice long bike ride around the waterfront. Fresh, tasty and healthy with a wide selection. You pay for the salad bar by weight. I’d definitely come again.

I LOVETHISPLACE! Working in Coal Harbour, it is a chore finding cheap eats for the 9 – 5 lunch goers. Family owned, always greeted with a warm smile and treated like a regular. The chef(wife) keeps the kitchen door open to say hi to the customers as you file past. I have yet to try the hot entrees but do frequent the salad bar once — twice weekly and top that with either chicken or falafel(both amazing!). My go to salad runs at max $ 9 and is a hefty meal that keeps me full until dinner time. I always recommend this little gem to new/current coworkers alike or friends/family meeting me for a quick bite during the day. Addiction is an understatement.

Review based on a chicken shawarma wrap. It was expensive, small, and bland. They can’t even use«health» as an excuse — it sat with me for the rest of the day. I’m Lebanese, and the only worse shawarma I’ve had was at Café Babylon on Denman.

Why am I addicted to this place? Same reason everyone else who works in the area is! Family owned and super friendly, home made falafel, tabbouleh, humus etc everyday, and an incredibly healthy salad bar. I love this place.

Great Family Owned Lebanese Dine in/Take away spot. They have a great selection of mediterranean specialties such as Shawarma and Falafels. But if you’re lucky enough to come on a Monday for Lunch, I high recommend the Moussaka special, I’ve eaten a lot of Moussaka and this is as good as it gets. Great place for a healthy meal option and the salad bar is great with fresh ingredients and everything you can think of. They even offer shawarma chicken as a topping. Great Coal Harbour lunch spot!

I work nearby and that’s one of my favorite spots. I usually enjoy a «Shawarma on Rice» or a salad from the bar, with different ingredients and, always, hummus!

This place is amazing! I work nearby and eat there at least once a week since I found out about it. I am vegetarian and usually go with the falafel plate or wrap. The falafels are really good, and my husband tells me the chicken shawarma is delicious as well. They also have a salad bar with lots of choice to compose your own salad. Overall, a great lunch place. Also, the family that owns the place is so nice and friendly.

For lunch plates this is no frills no spills $ 11 in and out. Green Leaf is Family owned and just a place I don’t mind spending money at when I have to run and grab something. 30 mins or less? This is your spot.

Great salads! There is domains and your common Persian fare but on top of that the salad bar is actually excellent. Fresh ingredients, fair prices(though it is at coal harbour rates), and excellent selection.

I discovered this place«by accident» near my office and I was PLEASANTLY surprised. Since then I have visited more than twice a week, mostly for their sweets and authentic lebanese coffee!(The kind of coffee that beats an afternoon snooze) I love the Baklava and other lebanese sweets they offer — they are not overly sweet or dripped in honey… just enough and quite light and tasty. I have even ordered trays of their pastries for events we had. Wafaq(who is the woman owner who cooks all the food) cares a lot about her food and cooks«with love» … Everyone there including her daughters, Mira and Sarah, and husband, are quite friendly(as other reviews below assert to) which makes you feel like you’re going to eat«at home»…this high level of «personal touch» and yummy deserts is what keeps me coming back! They also Wifi so it’s a great place for meetings — which I have had on their lovely patio!
