Li’l Cheese Steak Spot

This is by far the best place to eat in this food court, and it’d stand a decent chance as a standalone restaurant as well.
They mostly do cheesesteaks but have a fantastic «healthy option» that comes with a generous side of their salad (I went for the black eyed pea salad with a vinaigrette).
Meat is meltingly tender and everything is cooked fresh in front of you from simple ingredients. I’m pretty sure the cook is the owner and she has a fantastic ability to season – everything is wonderfully flavourful.
$ 7 gets you a medium-​sized plate of food and I’m actually thinking of going back for seconds because I want to try the other stuff they have.

Li’l Cheese Steak Spot recently opened up in Royal Centre’s food court. Since I was nearby for work, I headed over to grab take out. The food takes a little longer to get prepared since they make the sandwich when you order. You can wash the cook grill your steak and veggies on spot. They also have other sandwiches and soups to order.
I went for their signature, which is the Cheese Steak Sandwich. It doesn’t look appealing because it was all wrapped up and the sauces got all smothered, but this was delicious! If you love steak and cheese, this is for you. The beef was tender and you actually got quite a lot of it. It was also filled with onions, melted cheese, banana peppers, tomatoes, and a white sauce. Only downside is that the sandwich is quite pricey at $ 9. Nevertheless, it’s filling and the quality of steak is great.

This place was a pleasant surprise! Fast service, freshly cooked right in front of you, bun doesnt get soggy and a healthy portion. Great lunch.

Pretty good compared to other fast food places. Ingredients are fresh and meat is cooked when ordered (not the precooked crap like other fast food joints).
Gumbo is a must try!
