After a successful first foray using My Favourite Drycleaner, dropped off a second set of many more items. Left it on Friday and was able to pick up on the Monday following. Waited a few more days till I had time to pick it up the week following, but impressive to be able to do that many items so quickly! Items left to be dry cleaned turned out incredibly well. Happy customer yet again :)

I’ve never really needed anything dry cleaned before so just looked up a few reviews and found this place. The woman who worked there was extremely nice, and I believe the pricing was pretty good. Around $ 25 for a jacket, trousers and a vest. They did a good job, was done after a couple days.

I rang around to a few dry cleaners to get prices, «My Favourite Drycleaner» had some of the best prices in the area and their phone manner was pleasant, so I chose to take my four items to them. When I picked up the items the dress that I had been told would be $ 14 turned out to be $ 20, to me this sort of price jump is unacceptable. I politely disputed the matter and the lady kindly reduced the cost for the dress to $ 18(still $ 4 more than the original quote). So my total was: Dress: $ 12.99 Pleated Dress: $ 18 pants x2: $ 17($ 8.50 ea) The really bad news came when I got home and inspected the clothes… The dress(white J Crew pleated dress) that had some light makeup marks around the collar and light under arm staining still had all the same marks, and I started to notice marks I hadn’t even seen before it was like someone had gone over the stains with a highlighter. Another minor annoyance was that the white dress was hung directly next to my dark coloured tweed dress which mean dark threads transferred over. This isn’t a problem, but I am used to each of my items being in individual bags so more of an annoyance than anything. The next major problem was a pair of pants. A stain had clearly tried to be removed from the leg but in trying to remove it the dark pinstripes have discoloured the surrounding light fabric causing the tiny stain to become extremely obvious, it can now even be seen on the other side of the leg. The second pair of pants the dark marks left by my black belt were lightened by maybe 15% So one item out of four really doesn’t make the cut for me. Whilst the white dress is wearable the pants(designer) are pretty much unwearable to any respectable occasion. The service was also very average.

My favorite indeed! Owners go out of their ways to serve you better and prices are very reasonable. When you provide them with extra instructions or requests, they always remember and take care of them. It does not hurt that they are just a short stroll from my place either!

I have used My Favourite a few times now and my experience has always been great. The man and woman who run the place are always very pleasant and polite, the service is fast and the prices are very reasonable($ 20 to dry clean a full suit) They also have next-day dry cleaning service; if you drop your item of by midday you can pick it up the following dat at 3:00PM. Their name rings true!

Great dry cleaner. The staff are polite and friendly, my suit jacket was ready on time, and it showed no hint that my cat had vomited on it just days before. Pricing was reasonable too. I will be back!

I’m so glad to have found this place. The lady who is there on the weekend is super nice and polite, makes me actually look forward to going there lol. They did a great job dry cleaning my jacket, skirts, scarf, etc., and the price was reasonable.

Great place. They were able to remove most of a stain from jean dye. I brought the pants to them after another dry cleaner was unable to remove the stain.

I’ve taken a few more things here to be cleaned, including some crazy deodorant stains on my husband’s dress shirts that I couldn’t get out with Oxyclean Max Force, vinegar, baking soda, etc. The owner knows me by name now. I referred a friend to him and when she brought her stuff in, the owner immediately knew she was my friend. Jonathan T. below is right, the owner either cares about knowing his customers or he’s psychic! Anyway the deodorant stains came out completely to my delight, and the owner gave me a discount for referring my friend. :)

My interaction with these folks was minimal but pleasant. $ 16.99 to clean a ¾ length men’s wool winter coat. Coat came back clean and undamaged.

so i find it slightly amusing that my new favorite drycleaner is actually called«My Favorite Drycleaner». the guy who named this place is either a branding genius or incredibly lazy. despite the funny name, this place really does a great job of cleaning the smell of cigarettes and debaucherous drinking off of your suit. the owner is super nice and knows who his customers are. which he proved to me by saying«you just move here?» when i walked into the door. so he either knows all his customers, or he’s psychic. oh. and he’s got this thing in the shop where you can drop off your drycleaning and pick it up — even afterhours. so like if some person ralphs on your pimp leather jacket with all the rhinestones on it while you were rockin’ at some club you can totally drop it off and pick it up 2 days later even when it’s closed. finally, he also has a little booth from which you can rent videos… this is, to me, the weirdest thing about this place. i guess if i got the sudden urge to rent the movie superbad just as i was dropping off my laundry in the middle of the night, he would have me covered. super cool.
