New Salad Produce

In case the business info doesn’t get updated (which I find often happens) this place is actually called New Triple A, and says so conspicuously on its green and red awning.
New Triple A is interesting, because it’s half a block away from justly famous Norman’s. I don’t get the feeling that Triple A is anyone’s first choice over Norman’s, but it is a great complementary business. For one thing, I think its presence keeps Norman’s prices low. For another, it’s a lot bigger, and tends to feel less crowded than Norman’s does.
Generally I like to pop by Triple A before going to Norman’s and scanning a few key prices. Then, I go shop at Norman’s, and if there are better deals at Triple A, I just pop back there to pick them up after I finish at Norman’s.
One other note, Triple A always stocks somethings that you can’t find at most grocers. The one I’m most aware of is horseradish root. They always have it in stock. Can’t think of anything else off the top of my head, but I would say, if you are looking for a veggie and can’t find it, try New Triple A.
