Nice chill place. Wide selection/variety of foods that will satisfy most people’s craving. I had the kimchi pork hot pot with rice. I thought it was an excellent choice. Good price and portion. I was definitely full and satisfied.

This is the WORST bubble tea café ever. The servers could not be bothered with you at all, and the food is severely lacking in quality. There is way too much salt in their food and the soups taste like they are watered down. In addition, their menu had false advertisement, so they advertised that their drinks were«Real Fruits» slush/smoothie, however, when I received my order it was anything but real fruit. The slush that we ordered tasted like water and ice with food coloring, and it barely had any pearls. I am surprised that they would even advertise or claim that their smoothies use real fruit when they clearly do not. When I complained about the real fruit slushie that I ordered, they insisted that they could make me a new one, but would not take it off my bill or give me a discount. Never again will I come here. You’ve been warned… if you are planning on going here, think twice.

I came to Orange Corner looking for my favourite rose milk tea, which is not always available at most bubble tea places. When I went in, both people working behind the counter seemed extremely bored and unenthusiastic. I ordered the rose milk tea with coconut jelly and the guy gave the order to the girl also working there. As she was opening the container of the powder, I said«excuse me» because I had forgotten to ask for my drink half-sweet, but she ignored me for a minute as she put powder into the cup, then finally looked up and glared at me. I then asked for my drink to be made half-sweet, but she insisted she could not because she had already measured the powder. If she had just taken a moment to listen to me, she could have taken my request into account. I was already disappointed, although still hopeful, and watched her as she mixed the drink and put pearls into the cup. I tried to get her attention again because I had asked for coconut jelly, but I was ignored again. She put the drink on the counter and turned her back on me. The guy still at the register told me it was my drink, but I said that I asked for coconut jelly. The girl finally looked at my order slip for the first time. She took my drink back and dumped out the pearls, replacing it with coconut jelly. I tried the drink and it was awful– very artificial and tasting like pure sugar, with none of the flowery taste of rose. Not only was the drink terrible, customer service was vile as well. I will not be returning and will not be recommending this restaurant, if it can even be called a restaurant.

Worse milk tea ever… negative 5 stars. Stay Away! I wanted to order fresh juice, they ran out, then I wanted milk tea, they ran out of cream. What’s left? So I just ordered the most basic house milk tea. No tea taste at all. Just tasted just milk powder with sugar and water.

Food is ok. I like the deep fried squid tentacles and the oolong milk tea is not bad.

Good but not impressing. I got a thick toast and a papaya milk, and my friends got some fried stuff. I feel like many of their dishes are too oily to my liking…

I came here ’cause it was advertised on the January 24, 2015 front page of Unilocal.I was aware when I put this on the list of the very low ratings, however, a lot of the reviews didn’t match what I was initially looking for when looking for a to go place, therefore, took a chance and ignored it at first. I waited there for 6 minutes to get any sort of attention. They were prepping something for an empty shop, however, they saw me. They just didn’t bother wanting to ask what I wanted or if I could be helped so sadly I had to walk out and go to another place on the village.

Upon entering the store… the layout of the store is of the rectangular kind… Narrow and awkward. It was rather quiet. Most of the people here seem to get take out. And they play very typical Taiwanese music. The attitudes of the employees aren’t the best since they don’t even bother trying to smile. Makes you think whether the owner of the store actually treats the employees well or not :/anyways, I asked them in mandarin(they don’t seem to speak Cantonese) how long my chicken nugget rice would take and the waitress/cashier said 10minutes. I waited 5 minutes, and the food was served. So no complaints on service time. However, I found the indoor doorbell quite awkward for notifying the people at the front that the food was ready to be served. Anyways… On to my meal… The side dishes are terrible. The veggie was overly salty. And then they just served nuts on the side. And the overly sweet but soup wasn’t any better. The nugget rice was done relatively well(I’ve had better though), thankfully. However I kept getting pieces of tendon in my chicken pieces. Overall, other than getting a cup of tea at the very beginning of my meal without being asked(for that, I’ll give an extra star) I’m quite thoroughly disappointed with this place.

I’ve been here once with a friend(and her family) last year. The food here is tasty but I can’t give it a four star because I’m not a fan yet. I ordered fried rice which for the price, is extremely average. The mushroom soup was a good call, however. It was slightly sweet… I wish I had a recipe of this! I thought about the soup for a while(do I add extra cream? Perhaps a dash of sugar will do the trick?). Orange corner also has takoyaki, but they are the exact same product as a frozen bag at For Real in Richmond. I know this because I bought a bag to try. The ingredient list is atrocious… I kept trying to dissuade myself which worked two times when I visited the store. For the price, why not go to Richmond’s Night Market for takoyaki?

Nice little hangout in kerrisdale, it is one of the few restaurants open late in the area. the crepes are quite nice but their strength is definitely their bubble teas. their glasses are large and are in my opinion some of the best tasting in vancouver! the service unfortunately is extremely inconsistent; being a long time customer i’ve had both great and terrible service at orange corner. It’s unfortunate because the owner is a really nice guy. One time my friend ordered a bubble tea he didn’t quite care for but he didn’t want to make a fuss so he just set the drink aside while we finished our meal, the owner noticed and gave him a regular bubble tea on the house! however other times we’ve have had terrible waiters. overall Orange corner is a nice place to grab a snack, unfortunately sometimes suffers from bad service.

Wouldn’t go here again. We were over charged for a crêpe and when we pointed it out the man ignored is or acted like he didn’t understand.

Have never chosen to eat here but have accompanied friends several times. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed every visit. The cooking times for different dishes vary quite a lot, so while one person is finishing his food, another may be still waiting on his. The drinks, even half-sweet drinks, are offensively sweet, the food is uninspiring, and the last time I went they no longer accepted credit cards. Also not a fan of the child-size tables and surly waiters. Overall, this place seems like a poorly-run operation with bad feng shui. Not recommended.

This is a nice little place in Kerrisdale that makes yummy bubble teas and good Taiwanese comfort food at a reasonable price. Although the food is fast food in nature the service isn’t. They are generally slow to respond to the presence of customers and struggle to take your order, so you need to have a lot of time and patience if you plan on eating here.

A tiny little spot in Kerrisdale, stopped in for a quick little something to satisfy a late night nibble, but turns out, my order was lost in translation and everyone but myself got their nibbles :-(My son had the nutella filled crêpe, and it was good, not doughy or too thin or tough. Their slush bubble drinks were also good.

This review is for their bubble tea only because I haven’t tried any of their food. Why haven’t I tried any of their food? Their menu is insanely huge and has possibly everything and anything you could ever dream of ordering. And While that may sound dreamy, I actually find it very intimidating. But their bubble tea is the man. In the summer our office is filled with bubble tea from orange corner. Strawberry mango with half pearls and half coconut jelly is where it’s at. And! If you’re with a friend you can split one into two smaller cups, because let’s be honest, bubble tea can be huge. As noted by everyone else, the service isnt very friendly, and at times it has taken explaining our order upwards of 5x to get it posses correctly, but meh. The bubble tea is pretty dang Delish

I love their crepes, foods, and bubble tea! The service is not the best and the place is very small, but I really like their food and drinks. Unfortunately I wouldn’t call this a sit down restaurant due to its size, but hey they have pretty good food and bubble tea!

I adore Orange Corner! I had their taro coconut slush and liked it a lot, the pearls were also good. As for their crepes(pretty much what lured me in the beginning) I must say that the white chocolate strawberry was really delicious. The service is fine and the interior is a little outdated, but comfortable still.

To whoever operates this café: It is nutella, not CAVIAR. Can you be any stingier with your Nutella smearing? And when I request HALFSUGAR on the drinks, I mean 50% sugar, not exact same amount of sugar as if I can’t tell.

After a long day of playing sports I decided to dine in. We ordered: Oyster Pancake, deep fried squid tentacles, Chinese vegetables and takoyaki. Everything except for the Takoyaki(which wasn’t all that good) was completely HORRIBLE ! The oyster pancake was TOO greasy, oily, flavorless and I swear I could make a better one. and even worse they put in lots of sauce to mask everything. The squid tentacles were VERY greasy, flavorless and not fresh. I can’t believe they serve food like this… I guess you get what you pay for here… I will never come back for food again. We had a totally unsatisfying meal here. this place is like a joke for food. If you want inexpensive Asian snack-food items please go to the RICHMONDNIGHTMARKET instead. WAY cheaper and you get delicious food and of course a variety of choices. On the positive note their crepes, bubble teas and fresh squeezed fruit drinks are alright. so remember: skip the food items and go for their desserts/drinks.

Because I come here for one thing and one thing only – their PEANUTBUTTER&CONDENSEDMILKCREPE!( ) –this review is just for this wonderful confection. For some reason this combination is really hard to find, even at other Asian creperies I’ve been to.(The PB&CM combo on toast just isn’t as good. Besides, I can make that myself, but I don’t have a crêpe maker at home!) They make it just PERFECT here. My 4 key judging criteria are: — chewy(not crispy) crêpe — batter that is slightly sweet and not too salty(especially for dessert crepes) — just the right amount of filling — not too much or too little(just like Goldilocks!) — perfect ratio of peanut butter and condensed milk When I was a student at UBC and would work late in the lab, I would always get this crêpe for dessert after a dinner in Kerrisdale. Now that I don’t live in Vancouver anymore, every time I come back to visit I get my mom to order one to go before she picks me up from the airport!
