This place rules. Super nice people, veggie and vegan friendly. Hit it up. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars from us because they serve meat.

Good food. Good price. Only thing I haven’t like here is the spinach pie.

I always come here for lunch. Good portion, healthy and good price. This is a family owned restaurant and they are just fantastic. Be prepared to wait for 15 – 20!during lunch time. Come early and come hungry.

Very good price and portions for their food. I was going to an early show and needed something heavy during lunch and was recommended this place. Not much for ambiance inside, however, this is more of a grab and go situation. Very friendly staff.

BEST lamb liver ever! I’ve always gotten to-go food from this place so I can’t say much about the ambiance of the actual restaurant but I’m in love with their lamb liver. I actually had to look around quite a bit for a place that sold lamb and not beef or chicken liver(higher vitamin/mineral content in lamb liver if anyone is curious! :P) so I was really happy to find that it was delicious as well. I’m looking forward to trying out all the different foods other people have written in their reviews too. One of my new favourite places!

Wow. This unassuming little place is amazing! The food is freshly made and delicious! I’ve never had better hummus anywhere. Store-bought is forever ruined for me. Also *dramatic pause* the falafels are freshly made ANDGLUTENFREE. I cried a little. Family owned and operated, skip the chains and head here. You won’t be sorry.

Amazingly good food, completely unpretentious, lovely people, very efficient, and very reasonably priced. We intend to «run the menu» over time — to order everything they offer. Why not? So far, we had two wraps — chicken schwarma with hot sauce and falafel without hot sauce(both yummy). A couple of guys at a nearby table were sharing something delicious looking(with bright orange shaved stuff on the top). Since they saved it for the end, we assumed it was dessert so asked them what it was. It’s called«kunafa» and it comes in two varieties — cheese and cream. We ordered the cheese kunafa, which is what they had. Other than it probably being a zillion calories per bite, it was unbelievably amazing. Hungry now just writing this. Just don’t go for any blood tests for 24 hrs after eating kunafa because you’ll probably be called back for either high cholesterol or high sugar!

Absolutely delicious food and lots of it. Plus, it’s affordable. In fact, I’d call it truly inexpensive. Family owned business with the nicest people. I got there within 15 minutes of closing a couple of times and they still let me order and sit down to eat. Everything I’ve had here I’ve had again. Definitely the place to go for middle eastern food.

The food is delicious and healthy, however, depending on the time of arrival, you might have to wait 15 — 20 minutes for your meal, especially at lunch time. They food is also delicious, and authentic, as well as freshly prepared. The place is run by a charming family and their antics in the kitchen really lend to the authenticity of the establishment. The food is authentic, and being of Lebanese heritage, I can go to Pita Wrap and enjoy the same fast food that I would enjoy with my family growing up — not that we had fast food all that often.

Family run. Great, simple, delicious, consistent food. I have been going here for almost four years. Never once having a bad experience. The food is simple and delicious, and keeps the regulars coming back for more. It can be hard to find a seat during lunch hour, but don’t let the long line intimidate you, the kitchen churns out well prepared plates like a well oiled machine. If your not too sure what to get, the plates are always good, pick between chicken lamb or beef, it all ways hits the spot.

They may not be the best, biggest or cheapest, but they certainly make tasty and satisfying enough meal to please a lunchtime hunger. The Mediterranean plate comes with your choice of lamb, chicken or beef and is served with rice, salad(Greek or tabouli), potato, hummus, tzatziki and pita bread for $ 10. Hearty and not greasy. The rest of the menu has some interesting options from breakfasts to meat lasagna. Service is very friendly.

Finding somewhere that still sells house-made, well prepared, simple food downtown is increasingly challenging. Pita Wrap Café is the epitome of lunchtime diners. Every dish looks and tastes like it’s been prepared with respect for tradition, for flavour and for the customer — not just for the profit margin. For me, the prime example of this is the Fatoush salad — I always order a large one to accompany any meal. It’s a busy diner but the salad is always mixed and dressed to order — including a generous spoonful of sumac from their secret supply under the counter. But whatever you order, the kebabs, the eponymous wraps or the warming stews, you’ll be getting real food, with real flavour, and it’s wonderful.

This was an unpretentious, cute little family run restaurant. I was craving some Chicken Shawarma before class at BCIT and stepped in here as it was at a convenient location. I had the Chicken Shawarma platter and it seemed fairly healthy and alright. As some mentioned, it could use a bit more flavouring and I think portion size was a bit small but it fulfilled my craving. People here were very nice and it felt cozy, like I was having dinner at someone’s house. I also enjoyed the dolmathes that was part of it. Felt more authentic.

This is my favourite falafel place in Vancouver. I actually don’t even like falafel itself that much, I find it kind of thick and mushy. But I love it here. It’s crispy on the outside, with a hint of cinnamon or sweet spice taste inside. I always order the vegetarian plate which comes with a bunch of delicious stuff: tzatziki, hummous, pita, dolmathes, falafel, roasted potatoes and Greek salad. The one part I don’t really like is the rice, but I never thought to ask for salad or something else so maybe I could sub it. If you’re looking for a quick, fresh work lunch, this place is a great option. There are tables but I find it a bit noisy and busy so I always take it to go.

Was stuck having to buy lunch again but practically everything within a 2 block radius was either unappetizing or super fatty. Took a 15 minute walk to get to the Pita Wrap Café at my colleague’s recommendation, a place that is seemingly packed all the time with students from the surrounding BCIT and various schools. Ordered the chicken shawarma — fresh basic ingredients, no unnecessary greasiness so pretty healthy, but super bland. Their food can really use some extra spices and seasoning at least. A-OK, honest food that does not leave me feeling like a tub of lard for the rest of the day but really, I’d rather hit up one of those shawarma joints along Robson instead.

Good honest food for a good price. The service is decent for that kind of place. The food is warm, taste good and not to greasy. But don’t go during rush hour cos it will be hard to find a seat.

Pita Wrap Café is a small, order at the till restaurant. The menu is displayed in large font above the kitchen, while the tables are covered with cheap plastic yellow/green table cloths. I immediately like this place. =) The restaurant is family owned and run. The patrons look like regulars and it is packed during lunch everyday. I had the #4 which was a chicken platter with rice, potatoes, pita bread, greek salad, tzatziki and hummus. I found some pieces of the chicken a little fatty, but overall it was a great price, delicious and fast.

Followed a friend here for lunch… wasn’t planning on getting anything. And then I saw the super cheap falafel plate and decided to pony up. Four pieces of crispy falafels, pita bread, tahini, hummus and tabouleh salad for under $ 6! WHAT?! I opened the container back at work and surprise! It was the cutest little lunch — is that weird? Whatever — it made me happy and then sad to ruin it all at the same time. Wicked prices, great presentation, portion size and service. I will be coming back for sure.
