I come from the States for White Spot fish and chips. It’s a must stop when I’m north of the border. Went with the family just after the new year and ordered F&C, they were out of fish!(delivery truck hadn’t arrived the day before) I about died, thought the waiter was joking, he was not. I had my second choice Legendary Burger and drowned myself in delicious fries, but I have to wait for my next trip north for my F&C, so sad.

I went here with my family as a last ditch effort to find something to eat on Boxing day. I ordered the fish and chips. It was delicious. The batter was crispy and the cod was cooked perfectly. The endless fries were indeed endless. Our server was welcoming, attentive and very helpful. The only reason I did not give this restaurant a 5 star review is because the food was a little slow in coming out. I would happily return to this restaurant again in the future.

This location replaces another downtown location. The interior itself still looks industrial. I haven’t been to other WhiteSpot locations, but this one is more hipper with a homey feel. The greeters at the front are friendly and the servers are good at what they do. I usually order the Nat’s hearty breakfast, but at $ 12 — it’s not cheap breakfast. It is not a greasy spoon meal, but if fills you up. Situated a few steps away from BC Place, it’s a good location for a beer or two before the Whitecaps game(which is what they are advertising).

Stopped in for lunch after shopping downtown. Blown away at the depressing interior design of this recently opened location. I expected much more, alas I think I’ve seen hospital cafeterias with a less depressing ambience. I’m still adding one star, only cause the server made every effort to act like she wasn’t going to let the puke green walls get her down. Although, I think I glimpsed moments when it seemed her life was being sucked out of her due to the cold echoing environment.(I tipped large out of sympathy.) Food was as expected, but I just lost my appetite sitting in that prison environment. I couldn’t stop my mind trying to understand what/who could have thought this interior was the way to go? «…YES, YES that hospital shade of mossy green is perfect backdrop for a large screen TV up near the ceiling… and I want lots of hard cheap surfaces to echo the sports broadcasts it will be blaring…»

The steelhead benedict was okay. The egg was nice and runny though. Their mash/fries was very crispy and delicious. The servers were actually really friendly. I’d definitely consider it a nicer Denny’s. Lots of booths so good for groups.

I just came here for breakfast today with my classmates from VCC across the street from here. When we went here, the place was relatively quiet and almost dead. I’ve ordered a BC sunny start and a Earl Grey. I never went to White Spot for breakfast so this was a first, and surprisingly, it was actually pretty delicious. The total bill ended up being a shy of $ 13 and I ended up being pretty full in the end. So it was a pretty enjoyable experience. Oh and the waitress was friendly.

I enjoyed my delicious breakfast of bacon and waffles. Friendly and quick service throughout. Barely had to wait more than 10 mins, which is a plus in my books. Better than the White Spot in Calgary.

Brand new location, doesn’t have the same ambiance as the now closed Georgia Street location but it worked. I came here when it was dead and even then our dinner was slow. Milkshake was okay, not cold enough. The vanilla overshadowed the blue berry but it looked like a nice lavender color in the glass cup. My order was prepared to order. Our waiter was really nice.

Still a relatively new spot downtown, having opened in the last year. Have been here a few times for private functions, lunches, and dinners. Overall I’d come here for lengthy sit down meals, but not if you’re looking for a quick(under 45min) lunch. Food is always well prepared and very satisfactory. Service is professional and accommodating of weird requests. Never too loud and there’s lots of space. Also very clean :) Oh and milkshakes are a solid bet if you’re in the mood for that Overall, good reliable spot!

Great burger. Great wine. Great service. Ordered the mushroom burger with fries and coleslaw. I don’t usually like coleslaw but this one is pretty good. $ 2 off a glass of wine. Not a bad deal.

Whammy! They got for a limited time I believe… A selection of beef, turkey and chicken burgers. For once TURKEYANDCHICKEN=Whoot! Whoot! The girl is happy. So I tried the chicken-almond-cilantro burger. Fresh chicken breast and all the flavor was coming out perfectly. And I also tried the turkey-poutine burger. Surprisingly the turkey Pattie was huge and juicy. So thumbs-up White Spot for being so innovative!

It’s about time this location opened ever since their Georgia/Seymour closed due to major construction there, think that’s the new Telus Gardens, but I digress. Great corner location and parking isn’t as bad as it sounds here off Homer, lots of meter parking all around. Personally, I’ve always liked the bar seating since I’m usually in and out for eating meetings so this one here is actually quieter. friendly service, hostess quick to seat and bartender took down my chocolate milkshake, without any whipped cream at my choosing of course: it’s a winner regardless of weather conditions lol. Great booth seating, as well as the U-shaped kind. extra star for accepting AMEX.

The food was good and the service was excellent. But really didn’t like the 7 people standing behind the front counter gteeting and waiting for customers to come in.

DH& I went here for lunch on Friday shortly after 12 pm. Place was packed but we waited only a few minutes for our table. The entrance is sloped & wheelchair-friendly but the washrooms are on the lower level which can only be accessed by going down 2 flights(approx 12 steps). The restaurant occupies one-half of the building & the elevator is in the central part of the building. So wheelchair users need to go out of the restaurant, go next door to the central part of the building to take the elevator to go to the washrooms. I thought this was very poor planning & how did this get approved ? This is bad enough but imagine having to go outside in inclement weather or at night to use the washroom. They didn’t have the legendary burger with blueberry pie because it was a new restaurant & they didn’t have blueberry pie. The restaurant seats over 200. They have 15 large screen tvs showing sports. The noise level is pretty energetic. We were seated in a back corner with space for 30 guests. The noise level here was comfortable. All the staff were very friendly & thanking us for coming.(hope they can keep it up). I had the legendary burger with The Spot salad. The bun was dry but otherwise fine. DH had the chicken quesadilla with bottomless fries… messy but good. This is the perfect spot for the office crowd or anyone attending any sports/entertainment venues nearby. Glad to have White Spot back in the ‘hood.
