–1 for taking away the comfy leather chairs and replacing them with tables.
I get that you want to expedite us through so that we don’t dawdle and chat. So… cafeteria furniture. Do we get cafeteria coffee prices too?

Is there a point to this location when there is one literally at the end of the block? Do we need that many SB in one block? I favor the other location more since the ambiance is nicer, however, as far as grab and go is concerned, this service is faster. Decent selection of treats.

Sorry, I won’t come back here. since I wanted my order Raspberry Tea but the barista confirmed me Passion Tea. Does Raspberry and Passion sounds close? I eventually tried the «Passion» tea but it tasted watering (I let my friend try and she said it was totally different and extremely worse than the one she got in different store).

I like this convenient location.
At the corner of Mainland and Davie it’s perfect!
Also this location ALWAYS have the espresso POD
that goes with the Starbucks coffee machine.
I love-​it BTW the espresso shot taste like the same.
I read the review before buying a coffee machine…
Many of them on You tube.
And I found the Starbucks one was the best!
I do make Espresso Con Pana at home now ;)
(i.e.Espresso shot with fresh whipped cream on the top).
Delish! Guilty pleasure after a busy day. Right?!
One morning I pop out at 7h00am in panic…
I NEED a coffee ASAP…
It was no more pod at this location… It was the first time ever…
The staffs was sweet enough for giving away two pods from their
”Demonstrative coffee machine”.
So kind… You save my MONDAY morning ;) Starbucks Mainland!

With our city’s plethora of coffee shops to choose from, Starbucks still satisfies. They really are trying to amp up their feature menu with new innovations — most recently the Vanilla Spice Latte and the Hazelnut Macchiato.
Yes…I know the VSL is just a regular vanilla latte with cardamom added. And yes… I know the HM is just a regular caramel machiatto with vanilla syrup added. But it’s these simple changes that will keep Sbux in my good books/​bucks.
A big high five and shout out to Josh! I just came in from a run with no cash, and was about .45 short on my phone/​sbux pass… but he still gave me that Hazelnut Macchiato. When I asked him why he would do that, he said it was because he knows what it’s like to have your heart set on a drink and craving it, and it’s a feature item he wants everyone to try it.

Since I was already at one of my favorite coffee places in Yaletown this AM, I decided to come to one of my other haunts.
Usually a Starbucks, is a Starbucks is a Starbucks, but I have noticed of late that there are subtle nuances… This one is the farthest of three in my neigbourhood, but I always make the trek here…
I like this place because it’s open and airy. There’s space to spread out. The afternoon light is warming on a winter’s day and the patio overlooking the park with the big green head out front is lovely in the summer.
The half sweet vanilla soy milk latte, friendly staff and jazz make this afternoon quite resplendent.
