The place is really cool because you don’t feel like you are in a bar with all this art and the table have a lot of spaces between each other. The gluten free and sugar free pastries are really goods and the drinks too ! The only thing I regret about this place is the waitress that wasn’t paying attention to our order and told me the amount before I even finished my order.

Came here to pass time while waiting to get into a brunch place nearby. It’s actually connected to a gallery. Ordered the salted caramel latte, which which was good. Didn’t need to add sugar or anything. It’s prefect if you like your lattes sweet. Staff here were friendly.

Wow, what a lovely café! Came here on a whim, and was so surprised that they offer sugar-free almond milk and so many no-carb friendly adjustments! I was so excited and the women at the register were wonderful helping me with a million questions and customizing my drink however I liked! The drink was delicious and exactly to my taste, the service was amazing, and I loved the art gallery atmosphere with couches, comfy tables, and fast open wifi! So happy right now :*)

Really loved the concept of the place. Located within an art gallery, the café serves quality coffee and various snacks from sandwiches to pastries. There are also gluten free options available but they are of a select few. There are afew tables downstairs but more upstairs where you will sit amongst art work which is something really unique about this place. There is free open wifi and power plugs are various corners though you’ll have to search for them. Spacious and cozy at the same time, The Buzz is the place to go if you’re looking to find a chill spot to get some work done or relax.

Great place, nice prices, cool layout. Caveat. Was in BC a few days ago when suddenly some very loud music came on making it difficult to communicate with friends. Kinda awkward. I guess they do that everyday to get customers to leave before closing. :/

Love this place! I love the paintings that are scattered within the café. There are too many modernized, minimalist cafes that have no character in this city. Would definitely come back here if I’m in the area. The lavender latte is amazing.

Love this café! Feels like home. Love the space, seating, and paintings. Always go there to write. The internet slows down at times but I can work with that :).

As my partner said probably the poorest quality coffee he has had in a long time. I agree with him. Friendly service and nice couches.

This is by far my favourite coffee shop in downtown vancouver. Besides the coffee and food being amazing the owner and people that work there are so nice the having a cup of coffee is something you will enjoy.

Discreetly located if you’re not a local, but the speedy & friendly service truly make this a hidden gem. My sugar-free hazelnut soy latte(extra hot) was prepared to perfection. Plus there’s cozy seating a gorgeous at gallery attached! What more do you need?

Food selection is subpar. It has you basic«Starbucks» food items, no coconut milk alternative. Not so much in the breakfast category, meaning dairy and egg free choices. Espresso is okay, a little bitter. Music is not on a loop and is played a little to loud if you wanted to get work done. All in all not so impressed.

Quirky coffee shop in the heart of Yaletown. Refreshing atmosphere. Serving 49th Parallel coffee. Lounge among heaps of local art, get some work done, or catch up with friends. Comfortable, cozy atmosphere. Has kind of a ‘broken in’ feel, like your favourite jeans, that the sleeker coffee joints in Yaletown lack.

This was a great bright little space, perfect to sit and work on the laptop ! It is «little» in the sense of not a lot of seating, but we lucked out and got a nice table by the door. They do have wifi, and that’s a HUGE bonus of course. Unlike the 2 other businesses across the street on either corners, they are lacking in the wifi department and it’s upsetting, I won’t lie lol. This place is unique, eclectic, and definitely interesting. It’s located in a nice area too:). The coffee wasn’t too good… I wasn’t a big fan. I only had one cup. Lol. The food options looked really good, all healthy options and creative healthy desert ideas. I didn’t eat anything, but the options were great! M.M.

Cute Meow cappuccino only 3.5!!! The music here is a little bit loud if you need a quite place to prepare for your final exam. However it’s a great place to chat with friends and relax.

This is my second time at The Buzz Café. Both experiences have been positive and have involved yummy drinks. The first time I had a hedgehog mocha and this time it was a lavender latte. Both were the perfect temperatures and the flavors have been great. I love that the coffee shop has an art gallery right above it and also provides you with comfy chairs and couches, as well as good background music. So easy to spend hours there, chilling, reading, and enjoying delicious coffee. There’s also free wifi, though it definitely is not that strong and fluctuates a lot. Not a real problem for me, though. The baristas are friendly enough and there is no pressure to leave even if you have been there for three hours and have only bought one drink. This will definitely be my to go to café when I am in Vancouver.

Great hidden gem in the middle of the city. I have driven by Buzz café many times not realizing it was a café! But I walked by it today and walked in for a quick coffee and stayed here hours. Beautiful lounge with sofa and original art upstairs with the coffee shop downstairs with the goodies. The Almond croissant was amazing warmed up. Ask for your drinks to be extra hot if you like them hot as they make the on the warm side(traditional way) The Art upstairs is beautiful and many little alcoves with sofas for privacy and tables to get your work done.

I love places like this. Super laidback ambience, great for studying or doing some reading. I ordered a latte(came with a maple leaf design!) and went upstairs with it to the art gallery. It’s not that I ever really go look at the paintings that closely, but I just like these cozy, creative environments. Even though it was Saturday on a holiday weekend, the café wasn’t noisy and packed.

I was surprised to find this café nestled on the bottom of a gallery, but that’s kind of cool! I liked the quiet sounds of people walking around and talking about art. I came in to work before a meeting, and grabbed a London Fog with almond milk. The drink was great and the service fast. The décor isn’t particularly fancy, it’s definitely a café inserted into an art gallery. The treats in the cabinet looked tasty, but I was too full to try one, unfortunately! Next time. It’s nice to have a cool little coffee shop in this area, and I’m glad I got to try it out.

Great core product — their cappuccino was the best I have had since trying the city’s top coffee spots… Epic«fluff» The mocha half sweet was ideal too with a touch a legit whipped cream. Taste tested a cinnamon roll as well however I took it home and placed it under the broiler for a few for optimum gooeyness… Great cinnamon roll too(no raisins which is awesome in my book), not too dry, ideal amount of cinnamon, could use a slightly more even application of frosting but the broiler fixed the distribution. Layout needs some help though — napkins require requests and several people were queued up at a slow time but overall worth the wait!

Great service. They are very urban and laid back. I love how it’s not crowded and noisy like all the coffee shops around. I also enjoyed the coffee very smooth.

Grabbed a latte from Buzz Café on a gloomy Saturday afternoon. Good staff, good coffee, big space for sitting, and has some art around. Really different ambience from your typical downtown Vancouver hipster coffee shop!
