There’s a barista named Abe here and he is the fastest starbucks barista I have ever met! Such good service and he always has a smile on his face.

Raquel(I believe that was her name) is a very beautiful brunette lady that is a barista there, who totally understands what Customer Service means. I went there looking for a cold brew but they didn’t have any, so she gave me my alternative drink for free and apologized for being sold out of the first drink. Thank you. You should really be modelling and not working at SB(not that there’s anything wrong with it), but you are a rare beauty both inside and out. Overall, genuinely friendly staff at this location. I’ll be back for sure. Best location so far.

We didn’t receive the sandwich we order. The Refresher was tasting like plain water… First time ever in five year that I have a bad experience in a Starbucks and I’m a regular customer in Starbucks.

Busy spot all year around, especially during the summer, with its patio seating right along Denman. I love getting the 3 – 4 free parking spots, that’s right, you heard it, free 1 hour parking just on the Robson side. A bit of the community feel to this. Decent amount of seating inside. Service is fair and laid back compared to the DT ones. free wifi.

The entrance to this is literally facing the corner of either Robson and or Burrard, therefore, not 100% sure on the address on this. I couldn’t find it on the SB website properly and of course for a tea that was less than $ 3 paid in cash, I didn’t bother the receipt to check on the actual address, however, it is right at the bottom of Robson just before the #5 turns onto Denman. For those old enough, specifically in the mid 90’s this used to be another neighborhood mom and pop shop. This SB has been around for a while, however, I still miss those days when local mom and pop shops still ruled the city. Memories. This SB has lots of seating, very friendly staff and a lot of pastries. I had a tea and hot water.

On a sunny day like today, this is a pretty good place to just relax and sit outdoors. It’s just down the street from the beach so there is a really pleasant breeze that blows by. The staff was just what I expect from Starbucks and they prepared the coffee very quickly.

This starbucks is pretty much directly in front of my friends place downtown so I WOULD need to frequent it, cos I love my coffee fix, BUT I feel like this particular location has hired the bitchiest people on the planet and they take forever with the orders. It is a very unpleasant experience especially when I worked at a Starbucks during college and I was trained to be fast and friendly. What a disappointment.

After walking the seawall, I decided to stop in and get a coffee frappuccino. It tasted like a goddamn stale beer! I even gave my friend a sip to see if I wasnt just having a stroke and losing my sense of taste.(Seawall = 10K. Me = Obviously unfit.) He commented the same thing. Even when I worked for them, I’ve never had a Frappuccino so odd tasting.

I am by no means a coffee expert — for starters I only drink the specialty espresso beverages or the iced tea lemonade full stop. However, I am in fact a gold member so this means free coffee’s after every 15 I buy and free syrups, huzzah ! This location is smack dab in between work and home so it is indeed the one I frequent most often — the staff is always lovely and although the seats always see to be full I’m never hanging around to chill anyways. The one thing keeping my rating from being a five is that depending on who’s at the bar, the latte quality can be a bit hit or miss — some of the barista’s are sooooo good at making my latte frothy and perfect and others either make a straight up cappuccino or just a frothless wonder — meh — can’t please all of the people all of the time but a little bit of consistency would go a long way. Otherwise, I’m happy to continue to spend spend spend at this location :)

An FTR for a Starbucks? What has the world come to? I’ll tell you what: these puppies are everywhere, so it’s only natural that every person would get the chance to FTR the shizz outtuvem. But I digress. I’m not much of a Starbucks coffee fan — it’s too acidic and flat for my(oh-so fine) palate — but this location is pretty good as far as the chain goes. Sure, it gets stupid busy on weekends and in the summer(*especially* during Pride), but for every other time, it works just fine. Also, maybe it’s the West End that makes them this way, but every one of the staff are super friendly. They not only remember my name, but my drink as well. By the time I get to the front of the line, my preferred caffeinated beverage is waiting. And, bonus: if all I want is a drip, it’s usually on the house. It pays to be a regular, it would seem. I don’t go that often anymore, especially now that Milano has opened, but when I need me some wifi and free cuppa, this is a pretty decent option.
