We walked there at 9:30 on Sunday morning and they were closed. No one inside and no hours written on the door. Online says they were open at 9:00. Might want to call first.

It’s an adorable, little coffee shop. One that really makes you feel like you’re in a proper neighbourhood. I actually adore it’s simplicity and size [small]. Coffee isn’t bad here. I’d grab a cuppa anytime. As observed by others, the cups are smaller than most places so a Medium here is 12oz, which is usually a Small… That sort of thing. But, the service is excellent. The most chilled people work here. I mean, they’re not just nice; they are also very laid back. While I was here, I observed that they serve panini and soup lunches for $ 10. The present sandwiches and baked goods are quite standard. They carry a small variety of cookies(chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia, gingerbread and oatmeal raisin) and some biscotti choices, too — yum! OK, Take Five, I will definitely take five here again.

This café has the best latte that I’ve ever had outside of Italy and France. By far! I walk out of my way to get one here.

It’s meh. I jew’d ‘em down for the company I work for. They are super generous to locals and donate to local businesses– but the ppl who run the place don’t seem to care about too much. The coffee is hit and miss– like playing Russian Roulette with your stomach… The pastries are just ordered in Monte Cristo bakery like Starbucks– the only difference is they don’t have a daily fresh policy… So pastries keep you wanting more, and taste buds unfulfilled… It’s open at 8am too which doesn’t help those of us in desperate need of a caffeine fix before work…

Tried their latte first — really liked it. Went back and got the caramel macchiato(½ sweet) — loved it! Super smooth texture with lots of foam at the top. Just the way I like it.

Stopped in here in during my walk to the sea wall. It was a cool and rainy morning that called for a latte and Take 5 did not disappoint. Excellent service and coffee.

It’s alright, I’d give the pasta a pass, but the coffee’s fine.

Average espresso drinks, small menu of pre-prepared breakfast foods. Not exactly the next big thing as far as local coffee goes. Was hoping for much more based on the high Unilocal scores and posh neighborhood. Perhaps Vancouver just hasn’t discovered great coffee yet?

Great location and excellent service. Take five café is just my favorite coffee shop in the heart of Coal Harbour. I had a dark coffee and banana Loaf, that was just great, loved it. I would highly recommend Take Five Café to everyone. Cheers. Max

Usually you can always count on these upper-scale coffee places but they’re serving more and more real panini sandwiches, just like this one. It’s one of my favourites to come here, away from the hustle and bustle, yet, still close enough when I’m in Stanley Park. It’s a bit smaller than other Take 5, but have a nice window seating ;) I do prefer the chicken quesadilla, fresh and healthy with the cheese. But add a cranberry lemon scone as a dessert is a nice way to finish off the meal ;) Parking’s usually a challenge in the Coal Harbour area.

Really smooth tasting coffee! I’m from a city of terrible coffee so judge for yourself. Much better than tim horton’s, let’s put it that way. A very small place, not ideal for meeting someone. Their food selection is minimal also.
