This place is now closed. They moved their business online and this busy bus stop has been enhanced with another pizza franchise.

Bought the Groupon for a trip I took with my friend. It was for two scones and tea for two(note that tax is collected when you get there and NOT online). This is the pot they give you(one pot per person) and the cup. I got the Vanilla Cream Black Tea(very good)); 4⁄5) and my friend got the Mangosteen Green Tea(also very good; 4⁄5). The lady working there checked up on us a few times to see how we were doing and if we needed more hot water for our tea. I thought that it was nice to offer more water in order to get more tea for the price of the groupon. The scones were very good and warm. Served with a strawberry jam and butter on the side on a nice serving plate. Overall they have a variety of loose leaf teas and nice tea pots and mugs. Definitely get the groupon and visit this place!

I did a Groupon or some such recently but found the tea«shop» disappointing. It’s just too small and cramped to qualify as such. The«cream tea» wasn’t much. Didn’t check out the tea selection so can’t comment there. Definitely prefer Pekoe on Broadway.

Awesome section of tease, fantastic service from knowledgeable staff — I get the sense that people here actually have a passion for tea as opposed to, say, those at David’s Teas or something. I got the best Earl Grey I’ve ever had here. I went back for 2 more types and I’ll be trying one tonight!

Were the products tasty? Sure. Was a biscotti, a scone, and two pots of tea worth $ 21? Me thinks not. Prices were not displayed and the final bill was a surprise. Too bad. I had hopes for this place, but too pricey doesn’t pull me in for another casual cuppa.

Teaz is a prime example as to why we should all shop at local independently owned businesses as opposed to monster chains like Starbucks, Walmart etc. The people at Teaz were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Provided samples and treats. Just Awesome!

This is a place I couldn’t wait to write a review about. My friend and I were walking along Granville and saw the sign for iced tea. It was a warm, sunny day in Vancouver and we were quite thirsty from all the walking and pushing our strollers up the hill. The proprietor was this nice gentleman who recommended nice teas for us to drink. He made sure that we were happy with our teas even gave little granola bars to our babies. Definitely a more personal experience the way he talked to us about the teas. And they had a great selection of teas and I ended up buying two bags one to enhance immune system and one fruity herbal tea. Another gem found along Granville and I see myself coming to this store more often.

I’ve been living closeby for 2 years but never went in until I purchased a Groupon, $ 7 worth $ 14 in tea. Now I regret I didn’t walk in earlier! Then some friends offered me a selection of 3 teas from here so I tasted a variety of their teas and herbal teas and I can say I love them all! Some more than others of course but overall very good quality. The Ambrosia white tea is my favorite, flavoured Rooibos and the Jasmine Earl Grey are very pleasant too. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the staff that was on shift when I walked in with my Groupon. I knew I wanted some smoked black tea but since that was far from costing $ 14 I asked the lady what she could recommend and she didn’t seem to know much about the tea and was discarding jars as if she knew me(«you probably won’t like that»). I don’t like when people oversell but she was underselling as if she was not confident in the quality of the product she was selling. I left the store with the mixed feeling I had bought OK tea and I’m not sure I would have gone back if my friends didn’t get me more flavours that I loved.

This place is conveniently located close to the high-traffic intersection at Granville & Broadway. You can’t help but stare longingly into the store windows while waiting at the bus stop to downtown. Also, it has a bit of an awning for shelter during the rain. Thanks Teaz! It’s a small shop, well organized, but hindered by the fact that all the tea tins are stored in the back of the store behind a counter, so you can’t just smell them on your own. There was only one person working there when I went for a visit, so I had to wait while everyone in front of me smelled a gazillion types of teas before making their decision. There are some fantastic varieties in there of your regular blends, and some fruit and herbal teas as well. I went with a dark chocolate black tea and cute little tea steeper. Be patient while you’re in here, if there’s more than 4 people service starts slowly down exponentially. The people who work here are always really nice(although certainly flustered at times), and don’t mind at all if you ask to smell tin A, and then tin B, and then tin C, and then tin A again. Now THAT’s service. Medium sized bags of loose-leaf teas are just under $ 10 each.

Atmosphere: Small shop, very organized, however, selection isn’t as awesome as say Shaktea on Main @ 19th. For what it is at the shop size, what they do have in terms of flavors is awesome. I wanted to try them all. Service: I got there right when it opened and the young girl seemed a bit disorganized, unprofessional, didn’t seem to care about her work and had no knowledge of tea. They basically hired someone to work retail with no passion at all which was a turn off. I wanted to caramel apple latte to go, however, they’re latte machine wasn’t working, fair enough but was disappointed. Price: I had a coupon for $ 14 worth of tea for $ 7, therefore, bought a bag and divided it for gifts as well as myself.

I am very happy with my experience here. I opted for a Living Social coupon knowing i needed new tea. I am not disappointed. I was greet immediately and offered some Honey redbush which was delicious. I walked out with some Organic Assam(for making my own masala chai), Provence(lavender, rose, and rooibos all in one!), and a lavender earl grey whose smell seduced me. I would totally go back here in a heart beat. They buy most of there teas direct from all over the world compared to many tea sellers who buy from one and only source.

This quiet little shop has something for everyone. I finally made it back here for their Rhubarb Cream Black Tea. That title alone should let anyone know just how diverse the selection is. There’s a surprise on every shelf.

I’m a coffee fan, so when I scheduled a meeting at Teaz, I was really hoping they would have coffee, which obviously was wishful thinking. But I was pleasantly surprised and overwhelmed. There were about a hundred different types of teas from all over the world, almost too many to think about. They serve all the teas in a french press so the loose leaf teas gets to steep and then when you’re ready it’s there for you to enjoy. I chose a basic Sencha green tea. I really don’t like the variety with the popcorn and rice inside. I paid about $ 3 for a pot which is not bad. My friend had a mixed roiboos green and red latte-london fog type of a situation. Not bad at all. It was very quiet and there was an ecclectic selection of music. Cool

Like T, just around the corner on Broadway, Teaz offers up a lovely selection of all things tea related. Here you will find an array of colourful teapots alongside Japanese cast iron ones. This store also carries all kinds of different teas and tea infusions for you to bring home and sample. So, whether you are looking for ordinary black tea or something spicy or fruity, your tea needs will be satisfied here.
