If i could give it 0 stars I would. I used to frequent this timmys because of its convenient location but noticed the quality of my «coffee» going down. I say«coffee» because its a french vanilla ;P Everyday it kept getting more watery so on my next visit I asked the cashier to open the machine and it looked like mcdonalds pink goop!!! Soo disgusting i thought i was going to be sick knowing i had been drinking from that for months!!! I told the cashier how unsanitary that was and she told me «its fine we wash it every couple weeks… *deadface*. Needless to say that was my last visit!

Gonna boycott the chain. They are still employing entire crews of Filipino. I will come back when they employ locals once again. Shame on this ‘Canadian’ company.

Due to it’s downtown location and the foot traffic in the area this is a busy Timmy’s. Fortunately, they seem to handle the crowd well. Our steam tea, coffee and bagels were out within minutes, even with others crowding the place. What more could you ask for here?

Disgusting. I went to this Timmies to go get something in between my classes and the service I received was disgusting. I got a chicken salad sandwich and a coffee. When I order the sandwich, the sandwich artist started to make it, and then when I mentioned I wanted it toasted he glared at me until I told him it was okay not to toast it. Once I got my sandwich I continued to wait for my coffee, I watched the sandwich maker go into the washroom with the same gloves he made my sandwich with and then walk back out with THESAMEGLOVESON and then continue to make sandwiches. Needless to say I threw my sandwich out and stuck to the coffee. Tim Hortons needs to have a higher level of hiring standard and a higher level of cleanliness.

TL;DR Inconsistent service and mediocre experience, but well located and has(fast-food) level prices — cheap. Quality of service at this Tim Hortons is either a satisfactory experience or a fail(never a win or exceeds). This is the biggest flaw at this location. It’s a very busy location, being very well situated. It’s across from the Waterfront station. When you come in there will most likely be a line, unless it’s a moment of reprieve from the masses. No problem, as the cashiers are very fast. Indeed, another reviewer noted that the cashiers are so fast that they ended up taking orders too quickly, which makes the rest of the employees work inefficiently. Indeed, I believe this is an accurate account of what happens. Having worked in fast food myself, this is a problem. As one becomes overwhelmed with the amount of work while at the same time trying to complete orders as fast as possible, the worker makes more mistakes. Receiving your order will either be fast or slow. The taste of your order will either have a pleasant taste or be bland /wrong. The quality of service will either be just satisfactorily or bad(personally, I have never received good service here, although perhaps others may have). Workers do not seem overtly friendly, most of the time service is bland and robotic, as workers try to quickly conclude orders. Receiving this substandard service at this location, one then wonders why I continue to come here so much. The answer lies with two factors that are important at this time of my life: low prices and location. Nothing more can be said of the low prices that Tim Hortons has for its coffee /tea and its bakery products. Location being the second reason(and previously mentioned in this review), this Tim Hortons is at the right place for high customer traffic. It is located outside across the main entrance to the Waterfront station. I’m unsure of when I’ll have enough of substandard service and will be willing to pay more for good service. Until then, I can only hope for a complete employee transformation of service.

The foods are fresh as always but i dont like to get services from staffs there. They are so cold. I understand its always busy, but i could give better customer services with a smile than they do. I used to go there because its the closest one to my school and good for students regarding prices. Hope the person who is in charge of human resources will realize this issue.

I’m becoming quite a regular at this Timmy’s, simply because I like grabbing a bagel after stepping out of Waterfront. This week, I asked for an extra warm, toasty bagel. The guy at the counter seemed to understand what I wanted, and asked if I would like it «double toasted». I said sure, why not. As long as it entails a hot bagel! He went ahead and got me a «double toasted» bagel. When I got home and opened the wrapping, the bagel looked like it had been«triple burnt». I took a picture of it and threw it out. The next day, I went back and showed them the picture of my «triple burnt» bagel. The boy said it looked like a «double toasted» bagel. I asked him again: «WHO eats this? Please tell me. WHO eats this?» He may not have recognized me, but I know that he prepared my bagel yesterday. I pretended not to know. He didn’t argue and quickly offered me a complimentary bagel. I accepted. By the way, the Caramel Apple«specialty» bagel is SODELISH. SO. SO. GOOD. Probably also the highest in calories, but who’s counting? It smells so good and tastes even better. I still like this branch, even though I can never find an unoccupied table at any given time. It’s at the most convenient spot for people coming in and out of Waterfront to grab a quick coffee and snack before their commute. Hoorah! Word to the wise: SAYNOTODOUBLETOASTED!

Horrible staff, and Horrible service. The people they hire here can’t speak properly and have no common sense. They have a cashier who essentially takes too many orders too quickly, thus screwing over the rest of the staff by having them need to work at twice-to-three-times their speed, and then needing to cut corners to make up the time. This results in so many people waiting and crowding the entire space, so that others in line get pissed off when they can’t reach the cashiers. Someone needs to re-train or fire some of the front-line staff, because they clearly do not know what the hell they are doing. I ordered two Ice Caps here, and instead of handing them to me, the stupid idiot cashier decided it would be easier for her to put them on top of a coffee machine that sloped at an angle, thus spilling the Ice Caps all over me, and my shirt. I was on my lunch break at work too, so obviously I couldn’t stay and chat, or go home and change or anything like that. The cashier who spilled everything then scurried off like a moron while her co-worker had to give me something to wipe myself off with. All I got was a handful of napkins and that’s it. They moved on like nothing ever happened. I didn’t get anything, not even an apology. Complete horse-**** service. The people they hire to do cash at the front can’t speak english, much less pronounce the small amount of english that they know. Actually, i’m pretty sure they know how to speak english, but they half-ass it so much with their effort that it comes out all mangled and unintelligible. I don’t think that there is any presence of management here. If there is a manager here and he is physically there from day to day, then he needs to either open his eyes and manage or he needs to be FIRED.

OK — Can’t say I’m a huge fan because their coffee is more the sweet instant material and the atmosphere is more like a Dunkin Donuts rather than a café, but it’s got food, it’s cheap, it’s got free wi-fi and gets the job done.

I am going to preface this with: I am an American… which apparently has some sort of baring on if I will like Tim Hortons or not. At least that is what my Canadian friends tell me. The coffee here is awful. It is like drinking über sweet pond water. The donuts are… well… donuts. Nothing special. The service is ALWAYS unfriendly and the atmosphere is unwelcoming.

It’s okay. It’s a Tim Hortons, and it reminds me of pretty much any café: a counter, food, and seats.

Going to Tim Hortons was a completely new experience being from LA since we don’t have a Tim Hortons here. FOOD = 4 Stars: Our donuts nice and fresh. I had a maple glazed donut and some of the sour cream donut holes. They were really good and not dry. I also bought some triple chocolate cookies, which I always love to eat. These were probably the best thing I had from there. ATMOSPHERE = 3 Stars: This place was very packed and busy. It was raining and we ran from the hotel to grab some snacks. We didn’t stay very long, but the ambiance wasn’t any different than your average Starbucks. SERVICE = 3 Stars: The workers were a bit confused when I was trying to order. I felt like I wasn’t speaking with specific instructions when I was ordering, but we got through it. RECOMMENDATION: I’m by no means a donut expert, but I really like Tim Hortons donuts and cookies for that matter. I recommend their donuts for anyone needing a quick sugar fix… you can’t go wrong.

I’m sorry but the coffee at Tim Hortons is disgusting! It’s like drinking an oil-change from a car built in 1974 that never saw the inside of a Mr. Lube! Bleh! There is not enough milk, cream or sugar in the world to make this taste good. Or in my case not nearly enough Bailey’s to make it worthy. I added five shots of Baileys to a large cup of their decaf and it was still too nasty to drink. 5 shots! What a waste of my delicious liqueur! Thanks for nothing Mr. Hoho!

I’m not sure if this is the right location since my friend’s friend bought us some pastries down the street from our hotel. He got a blueberry muffin and everything bagel. We split both of them and it was good. Nothing special…

Decent layout, fairly clean, friendly staff and close to the convention centre! Only lost a star because the service could have been a bit more speedy.

This is a Tim Horton’s. Their coffee is reasonable, their breakfast is good, their sandwiches are good and their donuts are great! I go to this Timmy’s as it is in Harbor Centre where I study on a daily basis. It is fairly busy most of the time, so if you are in a hurry I would probably be prepared for a wait. The service is fine — the employees are generally friendly.

Stopped in before going to the Vancouver Lookout tower. Got a small coffee and a breakfast sausage sandwich. Average taste, price, and store atmosphere. The store could have had better lighting. Service was pleasant, lines weren’t too long, and the donut selection was huge! Had a couple bites of my friend’s donuts — one was Canadian maple and the other was plain. Both were okay. I’ve definitely tasted more decadent donuts that have left me wanting more, whereas this one didn’t. Maybe that was a good thing.

Oh Timmy’s how I love you… but unfortunately, not this branch. I’ve definitely experienced better service at other Tim Hortons locations. I attend class at Harbor Center, and after 3 tries, I’ve learned never to go to this Tim Hortons after 5pm. You might wonder why I put down a time limit. Well apparently after 5pm(at this Tim Hortons), the service slows down to a snail’s pace. At the beginning of the semester, I made the mistake of going to this Tim Hortons location to buy my dinner(since it was a very late class) and every time, without fail, I am not able to buy it! I stood there for over 15 minutes waiting for the ladies behind the cashier to finish serving the other customers. The line up wasn’t long; there were usually only 3 people at most in front of me. But it boggles my mind why it would take the servers(both of them) more than 15 minutes to register 2 orders. In the end, I am forced to run back to class Timmy-less :( I learned to buy my dinner around 4pm from this Tim Hortons as the servers before 5pm work amazingly fast(I usually get my order done within 8 minutes, and usually there are 2 – 3 people in front of me)… Perhaps the girls who work Thursday nights prefers to take their time?
