I’ve been going to swiss chalet since I was a child. The menu has changed but they’ve kept the classic chicken rotisserie and my favorite back ribs. Expect a busy and noisy restaurant with casual but friendly service. The chalet sauce isn’t for everyone, but definitely try it. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. Deserts are generic.

Great food and great prices. One time we went our server was excellent and offered great service. Unfortunately another time we went our server was terrible and the food runner had no idea what she was doing. Didn’t know table numbers or orders and gave our food to someone else. I recommend going during lunch when the service seems to be better

One of my mother’s favourites. We go practically every time she visits. For the most part the food here is simple plain and good. Recent years have seen the menu expanded from the roast chicken/​ribs and Chalet Sauce that was, for years, the entire menu. This is not health food, for the most part; although the expanded menu has given that as an option for the health conscious ones that may tag along. This is good, heavy, stick to your ribs, comfort food. The fries are near «chip-​truck» quality, for those Easterners who know what that means. They’re essentially Harvey’s fries, for those who remember them in every Home Depot.
A little too busy, casual, noisy and family friendly for a romantic date. Drinks are «basic restaurant,» with a few wines and beers of little distinction. Restaurant is always clean. Service is always good: fast and friendly.

Swiss Chalet West Kelowna has servers that hustle and smile and the menu selection is way more than just chicken and sauce. The menu is comparable to Milestones yet with better pricing. Eaten there several times with the kids and everyone leaves happy. Ask for the doughnots for dessert!

Nice surprise! The new menu is delicious, especially the Shrimp Penne pasta. Healthy options with nice salads.
Detail: hadn’t been to Swiss Chalet for years. Was surprised to find a refreshing décor, friendly efficient staff, new location, good service, nice décor (we all noticed the paintings) but most of all the food was good, and better than we expected. We all had a bite of the penne shrimp pasta because it was perfectly balanced with a hint of tarragon and oregano and not too much garlic. Perfect.
