This place is crazy amazing — we just had the best barbeque meal of our lives last night — and we placed our order 20mins before closing, so if we could give 6 stars we would! Best beef brisket we’ve had in a long time, juicy, tender, with just the right amount of fat and no hint of chewiness. We ordered the combo platter, which came with pulled pork, beef brisket, ribs, and a roast chicken. The sides were coleslaw, potato salad, cornbread, and baked beans. The sides were all amazing too — whipped butter with the hot cornbread, thick chunks of bacon in the baked beans… I can go on. Also, their bbq sauce is spot-on delicious. We were just so blown away by this meal, never would have expected it from a little bbq joint in whistler!

Almost gets 3 stars, the food was good, I did not get sick, but it wasn’t any better than what I could make myself. I like to go out to eat better than home, this place wasn’t quite there for me. There are so few choices at Whistler Creekside, and they are all BBQ, fast food or pizza. If you want something a bit more sophisticated or creative or even just tastier, you’ve got to take a trek to the village. We had ribs, chicken, fries,(both options) burger, and cole slaw.

I had high hopes for BBQ Bob’s but reality did not match my food fantasies. To be fair, we came at closing and were forced to eat in the bar next door(but promised they served the same BBQ). I had the chicken and ribs platter with baked beans and yam fries. The portion was excellent for the price and the yam fries were about as good as everyone says. Other than that though, the BBQ was a huge disappointment for me. The BBQ chicken was what I would call«Yankee style BBQ.» I lived in NC and Louisiana for 8 years and have travelled BBQ country in the states for years. Yankee BBQ is what Southerners laugh at Northerners for calling BBQ. It’s grilled or fast cooked meats with BBQ slathered on top rather than seasoned in the slow cook process. This is exactly what the chicken seemed to be. It wasn’t bad but certainly not what I was expecting. The ribs were nearly inedible. They were dry and I had to cut much of the meat off the bone with my knife. That’s BBQ rib sacrilege. In good ribs, the meat should be falling off the bone and the meat should be plenty seasoned even if there is sauce on it. I may give this another chance given what I mentioned above and the timing of our meal… perhaps we got a bad batch of BBQ. That said, I won’t be rushing back and wouldn’t recommend anyone who knows real BBQ to either.

Came back with 11 other local peeps from 808 to grind at BBQ Bob’s. This restaurant doesn’t disappoint, after a full day of snowboarding you have to fill that empty stomach up with great food. Thank you BBQ Bob’s for another delicious meal.

This is some finger licking bbq. What a great find, even though it is a little out of the way from most of the hotels in Whistler. Luckily, it was close to where we were staying. We came in with a party of five adults so we tried a range of their entrees and they were all sooo delicious. The corn bread was a must try… so glad we ordered it :) We came during summer and their outdoor seating was really nice since they had some chairs and picnic tables outside right under this giant tree… it was a nice setting. The prices won’t break your wallet and the their portions are a good sized– you won’t walk away hungry… We kept adding more bbq sauce since their home made sauce was so good. Ordered their sweet potato fries and the dressing that it comes with goes well with it. Also, got their pulled pork, brisket, quarter chicken, and they all were good good good. I can see why they win awards when they compete for bbq. We’ll try their bar area next time. But for now, we’re gonna go home and crash from a bbq coma.

Bring your appetite and order the BBQ platter. Slaw, corn bread muffins, potato salad and baked beans along with ribs, brisket, quarter chicken and the best damn pulled pork ever! Excellent service as usual, this is the place I recommend to visitors and love myself, Dusty’s is good but Bob’s is great!

Was hoping to find some great BBQ in Whistler, but the search continues. Ordered carry-out of the Sixty Nine platter to sample everything. Portion was massive, way more than two people could eat. Flavors were decent, but the cooking execution needs work. Ribs were just ok: thin, not very tender, and didn’t come off bones easily. Brisket really, really needed to be cooked longer: way too tough. Chicken breast was a bit dry. Pulled pork was fine. The platter also came with dessert. We chose the brownie, which came ala mode but was packed in the same bag as all the hot food, so by the time we got back to the condo, the ice cream was just cream.

Instead of trying to find expensive BBQ in the Whistler Village, we ventured south a few minutes to try to find something more budget friendly. + BALSAMICREDUCTIONFRIESWEREAMAZING! + BBQ sauce was good + A Rib & Chicken breast combo was enough to split and get full on for two people. ~ Coleslaw was ok, nothing great. ~ On the side of a pub, and not as it’s own restaurant. — The ribs were definitely few in number.

This locals-friendly spot is in Creekside. We had lunch here since we took the day off from skiing, it was raining and we were staying at Nita Lake Lodge next door, and overall, the food was fine but not great. We ordered the«Sixty Nine» platter for two, which let us sample the pulled pork, brisket, ribs and chicken, plus 4 sides, a cornbread muffin, and a dessert(alas fries are extra). The ribs and chicken were far better than the pork and brisket(both of which needed to be cooked longer — they weren’t very tender). Bob’s is linked to the bar next door, which means you have access to their full bar and if you want, you can eat there for brunch and order anything from Bob’s. Not a bad set-up, especially since they make a mean«Bloody Sunday.»

OMG Bob’s BBQ is incredible! We went post workout from Crossfit Whistler which is across the street and filled our boots with meat, meat, and more meat. the pulled pork, BBQ chicken and yam fries are to die for! If you are looking for Paleo friendly options, this place is it. And not to forget, but our girls loved the kids menu options too. They filled their little boots with pulled pork sandwich and Cesar salad. Big thumbs up from my wee ones.

Someone said this place was cheap. We paid $ 20 for a full rack of ribs(w/c were NOT a full rack… it had 8 ribs.) So, not only was it over priced, it was false advertising. The ribs were some of the worst i’ve had from a place that considered themselves a Q joint. Hard, dry… just plain terrible. Their saving grace was the corn bread. moist and not too sweet. Don’t waste your money here. Wait till you come down the mountain and hit up Memphis Blues at one of their Vancouver locations. Hopefully, you’ll catch a good batch the day/time you go.

I came here based on some Unilocal reviews, and I saw the menu, and wasnt really in the mood for BBQLOL. But then, something caught my eye, it was the Champ Burger, which apparently won first place in the Canadian BBQ championship, so I went with that, with a side of, yes, yam fries Balsamic reduction. With the meal you also get a fountain drink(the quality of the fountain pop was highly awesome btw) and I waited in one of the(heavy!) chairs for the burger to arrive, and about 8 mins later it came, it had Cheedar Cheese, Cream Cheese, pancietta bacon, fresh ground beef, red onion, onion sttraws, oickle, tomato, and lettuce. It was nothing short of AMAZING. Pretty much the best goddamn burger I’ve ever had goddamn it. And the Yam Fries? OMG, the balsamic reduction had the consistency of tar, totally sticky and gooey and you just can’t stop eating them. SODAMNGOOD. Go here, order that, thank yourself,

I’m basically a BBQ snob and never expect much when traveling, especially from places tucked away in ski villages. I played it safe and went for the Jerk Chicken sandwich which was decent, but the meat didn’t seem to be marinated at all and had hardly any jerk flavor at all. The giardiniera was just the right amount of spicy and the chicken was cooked well. A friend liked the pulled pork but it didn’t look like anything spectacular. The fact they delivered was the deal-breaker and I would probably order again if in the area and wanted delivery.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal I was hoping that there was finally a decent BBQ place to eat at. My hopes were high and my taste buds were ready for something amazing. But instead my taste buds were let down especially by the ribs. The ribs were hard and chewy. The meat didn’t fall off the bone it just stuck on like gum to the underside of a table. The taste of the seasoning was good. Probably the only thing that made the ribs worth eating. The chicken was a little better. More moisture in the meat compared to the ribs made it a better choice. The sides were probably the better part of the meal. The fries were cooked well, the beans were flavourful, and the coleslaw was my favourite. So maybe stick to the beef brisket sandwich which is mentioned in a few other reviews. I certainly can’t recommend the ribs. Also if you walk in to order there is more on the blue paper menu then there is up on the sign boards. I would give the meat 2 stars and the sides 4 stars.

Yummy! BBQ that delivers? What could be better. They can also deliver wine and beer from the store next door so if you’re in no shape to drive… you can still get all the nourishment that you need. The brisket was tasty(remember to ask for an extra side of BBQ sauce) and the pulled pork was awesome. I’m more of a fan of ribs that fall off the bone but the smoked ribs tasted good but not really my style. Nice to get outside of the main village… less of a scene and seems like a local hangout.

Super casual, friendly BBQ restaurant attached to a lively bar. Really good(tender and moist and tasty) Texas style beef brisket, nice pulled pork, fantastic yam fries drizzled in balsamic reduction(yum!). Creamy cole slaw, a little too much bun on the pork sandwich, but, hey, just take the top off and eat it with a knife and fork!

BBQ Bob’s is a fantastic cheap and cheerful spot for amazing BBQ in a low-key setting. Bob is a renowned BBQ chef who has competed and won many competitions in this food category. His team’s smoked and roasted meats will have your mouth watering. I love the jerk chicken burger myself but if you are with a crew order one of the platters. You get an assortment of meats, beans, cornbread and coleslaw. Their fries and yam fries drizzled with a reduced balsamic are addictive. Last but not least DONOT pass up the Key Lime Pie. This is a dangerously delicious dessert that you won’t want to share.
