Last Saturday Jan 9th, 2016 visited for lunch/brunch. I ordered pasta Al Pesto and came with old basil leaves and shredded chicken. Weird and not tasty or well presented!!! They run off Clamato for Caesars and offered to use organic tomato juice, which could be OK if did not charge us extra additional 2CND for each drink, no matter it was their fault, besides no information, but on the bill. Very disappointed, and not to visit again. Besides it is not a clean place!!! T. A. From North Vancouver.

Our food wasn’t bad, but our service from the moment we walked in, until we left was awful. The staff were annoyed by our presence, it seemed. We asked for a table in the shade, and despite our request, were seated in a table in the direct sun because the hostess told us she didn’t want to clean the table(it had been cleared, but needed wiped down). I ordered a tea and they charged me for a $ 9 alcoholic beverage — then acted as if she was doing me a favor by fixing it. The terrible experience with the service ruined the decent food. There’s plenty of better options!

A friendly waitress said that they are regulated to fully cook hamburgers in Canada. It tastes like meatloaf. Salmon is overlooked. Shrimp is only okay not overly cooked. Prices are okay around here as resort restaurants but 30−40% more expensive that prices in US.

Hubby & I arrived at 5:20 on A Sat. night. & was seated in an area without other customers. It took 15 mins. for a server to come to our table. My hubby ordered the Italian Sausage Ravoli and a side salad. I ordered a cup of the soup of the day & an entrée salad; Shaved Chicken on a bed of greens with a lime-cilantro dressing. My soup was delicious & I wish I had ordered a bowl full. Hubby’s ravioli was nicely plated, was tasty, but too large a portion. He left about 1⁄3 of it. My salad looked interesting & that’s the only positive thing I can say about it. The salad greens appeared to be the same mixture I can purchase at Costco. I picked out several pieces of lettuce that were brown/spoiled. There was an abundance of shaved chicken, however it was too dry and absolutely flavorless! I really should have sent it back, but I had a full view of the restaurant & kitchen, and could see that it had gotten very busy. I simply didn’t want to wait for another dish! We both ordered desert & coffee. both deserts were very good, but our server never came by to refill our coffee cups. With the number of fine restaurants to choose from in Whistler… there is no need to waste money on food that is simply OK and service that should have been more attentive.
