Best Breakfast in downtown. Breakfast is $ 3.75 and their coffee is around $ 1.70. So, even with tips, it costs slighty more than McDonald’s.

Had I known there were absolutely NO pictures of Pete’s on Unilocal,I surely would have taken some. Maybe next time. This is the true definition of greasy spoon.
And, you really should see this place for yourself!
Aesthetically it’s not exactly high end, however, it’s has and contains both character (s) and charm
On a Thursday morning, Pete’s had one server. One server who was also our cook!
Two eggs over medium, bacon and toast (3.75) and one stellar Gyro Omelet (7.95)!
Coffee was; coffee. If my taste buds served me correctly it was Maxwell House,(not a fan) but it was hot, she was on us for refills and served with a smile (for this I am a fan)
It seems to have a high percentage of regulars with jokes and wise cracks flying between tables and Mary Ann (the server/​cook) — Witty little conversations that make you grin and want to join in.
I can recommend Pete’s for the adventure not the ambiance. For the food not the finesse. Just bring cash, as the hand written sign states: ONLY CASH no credit cards or debit.
Next time we lose our shirts at Casino Windsor — we’ll be sure to visit Pete’s Place for All day breakfast!
