I’ve been to this place 3 times, we always hit this bar when we visit windsor. Last week when we went they were CLOSED due to not paying rent, it’s a shame.

Since they’ve changed the menu has been downsized the beer selection is limited and the overall feel has gone from neighborhood pub to catering to non-locals.

Very pleasant wait staff, boy did she have to run fast. Order the fish and chips and expected pub grade food and was pleasantly surprised that it was quite good. Ambience was OK but we were there early. I would recommend however.

I had the Irish burger with coleslaw(made onsite with dill) and it was fantastic. Thanks for the great service I will be back every time I am in town.

I love this place. Love the staff. Wish I could give 4.5 out of 5, but ill list the reason why I didn’t give the place a 4. Too good to be a 4 to be honest. So many beers on tap, although that’s not a selling point for me its a true pub. Food is excellent, I wish it was a little more consistent, meaning I have had a burnt burger a few times. The server even noticed that it was burnt and made the kitchen staff make a new one. The chicken boxty is to die for, as long as they do not overcook the potato base. Which has happened a handful of times. But I have had it so many times, I am not sure I want to try anything else. Very affordable prices. Tons of TV’s which is never a bad thing. Bar was recently-ish renovated, and I love it. One of the best spots downtown Windsor. Patio is kind of small, but I think that has to do with the city and has nothing to do with the Kilt. Staff really is the best part of the establishment. Friendly, fast, prompt. I want to go back right now.

Cool place, nice beer, lots of TV We stopped in here to meet the folks before dinner. We really appreciated an Irish Pub(aren’t kilts Scottish though?) within walking distance of the Casino. We didn’t eat the food, but some regulars ordered chicken dishes with mashed potatoes and veggies and they looked huge and smelled great. We also sat near the waitresses off duty, noshing on nachos, quesadillas and more. All of which looked delicious and smelled great too. We requested to watch curling and — bam, channel changed, it was on! Everyone was so friendly so we came back after dinner for a night cap. They had live music and the waitresses were very excited about the band and gave us a play list, insisting we stay for the entertainment. Not crowded but a decent group.

Amazing place, with great music, proper pub atmosphere, and hands-down the best staff in town. Every Thursday-Saturday night there is always a rockin’ band, without fail. If you are looking for lunch specials, or a relaxed dinner atmosphere, you can’t go wrong, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the burgers, fried pickles and the meatloaf.

I wish Unilocal had a completely useless and untrue button, as it would be used on the last review which only gave this great establishment a single star. If you seek the truth read not this review above but my honest and accurate portrayal of this wonderful pub. The new renovations are great the new bar allows for more seating in this bar and more importantly a stage in which to view the many great acts which play here every week. The staff are my personal favorite and my go to when in the downtown core. They are all friendly informative and always striving to make the guest happy no matter the time of day. The food is amazing and an improvement on the pub fare you normally get at the downtown establishments. I highly recommend the shepherd pie fries I get them often and they have yet to disappoint. Also the Sticky toffee pudding is pretty darn tasty as well. In closing I think that this is a great change to a place that was pretty great to begin with.

One of the best places to eat, drink and hang out downtown. They have fantastic homemade food(Irish and pub food), one of the best places to enjoy lunch, dinner or an appetizer with drinks. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and since the renovations, the place is a lot more open and can accommodate more people. The Kilt & Fiddle is a MUST visit if you’re in the downtown area. You won’t be disappointed!
