Delivers on all fronts. The atmosphere, service, attention to detail let’s you know you are in for a treat tonight. We were a table of 4 that sampled slit of dishes. You can’t make a bad selection here. Highlight of our Cabo holiday

Wow, top notch! Let’s start with the grounds and Ambiance. This venue had gorgeous farm grounds with food and flower garden and is friendly to families and pets. It’s like an upscale rustic wedding. Mason jars with fresh flowers, hanging lights, brightly colored chairs with well made cushioned farmhouse style benches. Open air and laid back feel are a perfect pair here. Then, the live band at dinner was just perfect. Just the right songs and just the right volume. Drinks were craft cocktails with muddled herbs and a variety of options. The vine, citation gin and tonic, el vernado and margarita were excellent! Yellowtail tuna appetizer and cucumber almond soup were delicious and unique. I will be back for the yellowtail, it was paired with pickled veggies and a purée. The best appetizer I have had in Cabo. Dinner was delectable and satisfying. My husband had the pork shank(it’s huge) with asparagus and mashed potatoes. I had the Spanish rice with organic vegetables and it was so yummy and loaded with flavor. Dessert was carrot cake and churros; both good but the dinner, drinks and apps were our favorites. Biggest issue: cab rides. They need a reasonable negotiated shuttle service. $ 140US dollars round trip for us to get there was ridiculou(29 minute ride from Cabo San Lucy’s). Cab drivers are capitalizing on the popularity of this place. Still worth it, but makes coming back this trip less tempting/likely.

I always hate to be the odd woman out but I cannot give our experience here more than 2 stars. Maybe we hit it on an off day but that sucks for us and them as well honestly. The setting is very pretty, its nice to be outside on a farm, so for that and the surrounding(expensive) shops I give them 2 stars. The food and the drinks were very average especially for the price. We had the roast chicken, which was severely overcooked and no one ever came back to ask us how our food was so we could not send it back. Even when they came to clear our table they did not ask why ¾ of the chicken was leftover. We also tried the pork shoulder which was ok, but so average, just seemed like they cooked it to put in other meals as well, so they didn’t really season it with anything but salt. We wished we had tried it for brunch maybe that is a better experience but either way i would not give it another try or recommend it to friends.

The food is good but be prepared to pay lot, especially for Mexico. We got 2 chicken meals and ate that for about 4 days for leftovers. The place is really pretty and they had live music which was nice. I’m glad we went but we may not be returning

I had an amazing time at this restaurant/farm! It took a little pre planning in the form of making reservations ahead of time and renting a car – thanks fellow Unilocalers for those tips! We had dinner reservations on 5⁄4 and also made reservations for the farm tour before dinner. The dirt road portion of the drive was a hoot and added to the fun of visiting this establishment. As developments are quickly springing up around this venue, I suspect that will sadly be a thing of the past. In the meantime, it adds to the bewilderment of arriving at this beautiful little hidden valley/village that seems to be in the middle of no where. After parking, we did not quite know where to go so we entered one of the buildings that turned out to be the coffee bar/wine bar. Perfect for me, but we had to go check in for the tour so I did not partake. A very nice young lady working there offered to escort us over to the restaurant area/check in point. As we followed her past neatly manicured lawns and an ice cream cart, I saw a large golden hair dog lazily rolling around in the grass. That was Guapo, one of the resident dogs, explained the young lady. Dog friendly establishment! I knew this was going to be great! The hostess checked us in and said it would be a few minutes, we could wait in the courtyard or the bar and the guide would come get us. We opted for the bar and got some drinks to take on the tour. The cocktail menu had some tempting choices, but I went for the white wine. Soon thereafter our tour guide Hector arrived, gathered our group, and off we went. Hector showed us some of the current gardens/crops, explained the philosophy of changing out the crops seasonally, good bugs v. bad bugs, no pesticides, etc. He also gave us a brief bio of the owners who came from Northern California and bought the land in the 90s and created what is there today. They live onsite in a yurt. I imagine it’s no ordinary yurt – looks pretty large. We did not get to see the mango orchards because of set up for a special event. They also rent out portions of the venue for weddings/special events. After our tour, we headed back to the restaurant for dinner. Seating is all outdoor so you get to enjoy the beauty of the grounds. However, there are overhead patio coverings to provide shelter from the sun or occasional rains. Service was a little slow, maybe because if you came all the way out here, you should stay awhile or we just got the new guy. Anyhow, the complimentary bread was wonderful! We ordered more cocktails and some dishes to share – pizza, gnocchi, and Mexican corn. My cocktail was called Verano, and made with Mezcal, pineapple, cilantro, Serrano pepper and lime. All extremely fresh and flavorful. I boxed some pizza to go so I could have dessert – chia pudding with papaya and coconut. Beautiful presentation and refreshing on a hot day. Lots of areas to hang out and have drinks. Live music starts a little later in the evening. A few shops to explore. I would have liked to hang out longer, but we were about 30 min from our hotel, and no tomar y manejar especially on dirt roads at night! Highly recommend. Every employee we encountered was extremely welcoming and friendly – the young lady at the wine bar, the hostess, the farm bar bartenders, the tour guide, and our dinner servers. They all seemed to enjoy working at this establishment. Come for dinner and book the farm tour(more garden than farm, but still very interesting.) Or arrive early and spend some time at coffee bar/wine bar, the farm bar, the shops or just exploring the beautiful grounds. Warning, it’s a little pricey, but well worth the splurge.

After driving on a dirt road for 10 minutes, we arrived to the farm not knowing what to expect. Getting to the restaurant early, we decided to take a walk thru the garden. What an amazing place. Every row of greens and vegetables were bright in color and perfectly manicured. We knew we were in for a gastronomic experience. There were four of us so we ordered a little of everything. The layers of flavors were wonderful. For anyone not liking cauliflower, you must try it. It is make in a wonderful mustard ginger sauce. The wild pig dishes are also amazing. Do not miss this place. It’s a gem. I would love to see someone do a documentary about Flora’s fields. I find it fascinating. Unlike anything I have ever seen. Make sure you get there early to walk around and enjoy the garden.

This place is as good as it gets. Very short drive down a dirt road and you will be glad you did it. Ten acres of beauty combining an organic farm with a bakery, wood fired pizza oven, restaurant, bar, wedding and party location, and much more. Everything here is amazing. Don’t miss this place while in Los Cabos! Quick look around from Flora’s Bar area.

Love this place… Its an open restaurant out in the open, in the middle of nowhere… Kind like an Oasis. This place is ideal for big groups. Long tables and very good service. The food is always good. They produce and bake all they sell. Amazing heirlooms tomatoes, burrata, beacon pizza my favorite. I had the pork chop(big one) is huge and super good… Burnt a bit from the outside and super juicy inside. Amazing. Totally recommend this place.

Well, sorry to report this restaurant disappointed us on our last visit. We went last Friday for a special occasion and besides the top notch bartender, it was a complete fail. Surprisingly it wasn’t has busy has it usually is. Obviously, we know why now. Maybe they have changed chefs. My dinner was terrible. I ordered the gnocchi and I couldn’t even eat half of it. My husband ordered the pork chop and he was not happy either. We split a salad and it was just Ok. Not to mention it’s very expensive. In the past I didn’t care because the food was always very good. I even wrote them an email voicing how disappointed we were. I received a reply stating they would pass my comments on to the manager. Since then… insert cricket noise. I have been going to this restaurant for the past six years faithfully, we have brought many many friends here and have spent tons of money here. The next night, we went to the new restaurant Acre which is next door. We were blown away. That place must be crushing Flora farms. What a shame for such a beautiful place to go down the tubes.

I have my wife to thank for finding this absolute gem. The restaurant sits on a large family farm that grows sustainable vegetables, raises sustainable meats, etc. We started our evening with a tour of the farm, which was fascinating and informative. That experience, however, paled in comparison to the food and drink itself. We started with two«Farmaritas»(margaritas with juices from various blended vegetables, like carrots and turnips) and an appetizer platter that was a «walk around the farm» experience. This thing was amazing: various vegetables and thinly sliced meats from around the farm(bonus: my wife has a gluten intolerance, which the staff address via some amazing, thin, toasted gluten-free bread with olive oil and vinegar). For main course, we chose to share a 12″ pizza(again, gluten-free) with goat cheese, thinly sliced ham, and arugula. We each finished the night with«Farmtinis»(whose makeup you can guess). This experience wasn’t cheap — after tip, about $ 120 for two — but for two foodies who were far from home, this was an amazing experience. A word on reaching the farm: it’s about 30 – 35 minutes NE of the Sheraton Hacienda de Mar(where we were staying), towards San Jose del Cabo. If you’re in a similar boat(e.g., are wanting to reach the farm from the Cabo San Lucas side), forgo two expensive cab rides and rent a car for the day(which is much cheaper). We even downloaded an offline area map into my iPhone’s Google Maps app and had no trouble navigating.

Amazing Place!!! We started with a tour of the garden and it was very nice and informative with multiple samples of herbs and fruit. Then on to lunch! I had a mimosa and we decided to start with a marinara pizza which as simple as it sounded turned out to be very delicious! They brought us olive walnut bread that is made there which was incredible. For the entrée I had the tuna which came with vegetables from the garden. The carrot purée and the vegetables were very good, and the tuna was just ok. I wish they sliced it or seared it less because it was kind of chewy. For dessert we got the carrot cake which is the best carrot cake I’ve ever tried and I would go back there just for that again! The service and the food here is at the highest standard.

A great change of pace in Los Cabos. Time seems to slow down dramatically at this peaceful sunny community tucked behind the back roads of San Jose deal Cabo. Try to grab a seat along the garden near the stage. A musician was playing clarinet and sax while we sat down for lunch and it created the loveliest setting. The Pelo del Perro was their take on a Bloody Mary, the best I’ve ever had. It was topped with all kinds of fresh garden veggies. Keep an eye out for the darling cat and dog who roam the property, they’ll probably make a trip to your table. Try to control your intake of the gorgeous fresh olive bread and the most flavorful soft butter. It’s worth waiting for the main course. The pizza was our favorite, great for sharing. This place is pure joy, delight, and relaxation, a must during your Cabo vacation. No one offers anything like it. Great for families or couples. Book your reservation online and be sure to also sign up for the farm tour where you see just how many beautiful fruits, herbs, flowers, and vegetables they’re growing. Their farm stand next to the restaurant sells their lovely breads, jams, eggs, pastries, and all kinds of produce.

Wow just went to my hippie heaven! Best Mexican Hipster 70’s cover band(I’m not a fan of live music normally); perfect full moon; organic fresh and local ingredients; local organic fresh pork menu for my hubby and by far the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had(6 years and counting)! Cute stores and ice cream stand to enjoy after your dinner. Sadly we didn’t make the farm tour or cooking classes. Next time! This is a don’t miss if you are in the Cabo area. Worth the $ 25 taxi(each way — we stayed in the Mar Adentro as a point of reference). We had the chicharrones — delicious dipping sauces Salad special with their in house cured pork and homemade ricotta(all greens grown on the farm) Gluten Free Pizza margherita — add garlic per the waiter’s recommendation which was perfect — best GF pizza ever Pork loin special with mashed potatoes and bok choy — unbelievable flavours Side of braised and broiled butternut squash — it was tasty but the least tasty of our dishes and all the portions were so big we didn’t really eat this. Flan — amazing Chocolate cake Decent wine selection Large portions Wait staff were busy but helpful — even though I was brought a non GF pizza and had to wait until my husband was done eating before mine arrived — it worked out as we had several courses and shared! Shopping options to take back nice gifts hand made on the farms(soaps, etc.) Gourmet market with fresh produce, breads, desserts to take back to your hotel/villa/etc. Highly, highly recommend.

This is a MUST when visiting cabo… worth the drive. A litte oasis in the middle of the desert with incredible food. Since the food is farm to table, I’m sure the menu is constantly changing, but we had the burratta, beet salad with orange slices and goat cheese, the ½ roasted chicken and the carrot cake and tres leche cake. I NEVER order chicken, but was in the mood for something different. The skin was crispy and the meat SO moist. Don’t miss out on this very unique and delicious experience!

Love this place! The live music and garden setting is so tranquil. We were there during a slow time in the beginning of December and spent more than a couple of hours enjoying drinks, the music and walking around the gardens. The shops have some cool things, but you can find them in Jose Del Cabo a lot cheaper. We went on a Thursday and it was a great day: we rented a car because we were staying at lands end and went there for a late lunch around 1:30 or 2 and then on to the Art walk i n town.

What a BEAUTIFUL place! The décor is vintage and rustic. The ambiance is just completely lovely. Everything you consume here is made from scratch. I had their homemade yogurt and granola, which was to die for. My only issue was the selection of fruit. All they had were bananas and papaya, which aren’t really what I’d like to put in a parfait. I’m all for being organic and seasonal, but they definitely need a few more fruit plants! During my visit, there was a cute little cat walking around the tables meowing at everyone. Very adorable! I also saw dogs walking around. I read that they take care of stray dogs. They have a bakery and assorted fruits/vegetables to sell. If you could make a grocery store into a boutique, this would be the place! Hours are all over the place. Try and call ahead of time to see if they’re open. Their garden is lovely, but you need to sign up for a tour to actually see the property! Also, I was there during breakfast and on that specific day they had it be buffet style. Buffet is not my favorite, but they had a beautiful selection of roasted potatoes, quiche, homemade butters, jams, and toast! The variety was great. I just wish I had gone during a time where it wasn’t buffet style. This place is a must go if you’re visiting San Jose!

Heard about the farm to table restaurants in this area so went to check them out. Flora Farms is a beautiful property but very commercial. Varied menu but very expensive. I did buy some produce to, take home and it was so fresh and delicious. We only had a pastry and drink and chose to visit Los Tamarindos where we had dinner. Far more reasonable prices and much more casual.

Very cool place. It’s located on the outskirts of San Jose Del Cabo, a bit further than the marina. Yes, it’s kind of foo foo and full of yuppies. Just accept it and let yourself be a part of this tumblr-perfect experience. The food is great. The drinks are fresh and creative. It’s on the pricier side, but it’s a beautiful location with farm to table organic ingredients. The restaurant is pet and kid friendly. There are a few walking trails on location and a small playground near the restaurant itself. An ice cream cart outside the restaurant sells creative & delicious flavors. Further along there are a couple of specialty shops selling fancy goods. All in all a great way to spend a few hours. Would also be an ideal venue for your hipster/country-chic wedding.

CAsh ONLY!!! Gratuity 16% WTH!!! their pizza is whatever. You can eat this pizza anywhere nothing special at all but hands-down for their tuna sandwhich made with real tuna. Honestly this place is overrated. It’s NOT that great at all. Small place and reservation required ONLy! If you cancel, they charge $ 35pp. I was expecting a good hype but when I got there the restaurant had so MANY empty seats. Honestly, if you just walked-in they should be able to seat you. The restaurant is not busy at all. Disappointed! Average american food in mexico.

Seriously people? This place is just like being in LA — the entrees are printed in US dollars and are around $ 13. 12-inch pizzas are $ 20! Where am I??? Someone in our party said that they ran into Thomas Keller of French Laundry fame on the street on another trip and he recommended this place. WTF Thomas Keller??? Food was fairly good, but nothing special and you have to drive like an hour from Cabo through nothingness to get here. It’s like some weird oasis in the middle of nowhere, which adds to its artificial, wtf is this place vibe. I guess it’s a farm, but not a big one. Everything seems like it’s for looks… It’s definitely a place for the ambiance. If you wanna be in an artificial«farm-like» environment so you can imagine that you’re having a farm-to-table brunch just like in LA, then this is your spot. As far as the food was concerned, it was pretty good, but I definitely could get this back in the states.(I live in the bay area and go home to SoCal. Come on.) Eggs were fluffy, potatoes were tasty, and the mini cinnamon rolls were good. I was pleasantly surprised by the French toast, because I’m normally not a fan, but I went back for more and more. But… once again, it’s not a very Mexican experience at all.

Flora Fields has been on my Cabo radar for the past couple of years. This time I made it a point to visit and we did on a Sunday afternoon. They were wrapping up Sunday brunch and were getting ready to close in 30 minutes. It was almost a fail. But the bar was open and they had a nice band entertaining the patrons. They have an extensive list of drinks all made with ingredients from their farm. The specialty drinks are VERY expensive and a little odd. My margarita had organic carrot juice in it. Huh? It was different and still refreshing but not at all what I was expecting. Especially since they didn’t list carrot in the description of the margarita in the menu. My husband was also perplexed by his drink which was what he thought was a mule but had mint or basil in it. 4 drinks were $ 70.00. YIKES!!! But if you stick to the basics such as beer, vodka soda etc the prices are more reasonable and you know what you are getting. We were blown away by the ambiance of this place. It’s like a fantasy dreamland where you expect a bride to come out of no where and start getting married. The gardens are amazing and you can shop for fresh veggies here along with other gift items. They have their rescue dogs hanging around which makes me love this place even more. It’s off the beaten path but every cab driver knows of the local and if you start to head towards East Cape there are signs that will direct you here. Next time I will arrive earlier so I can partake in what I have heard is freaking amazing food.

Floras Farm is a sight to see. Don’t worry, it is not as big as it looks on the map, so you will be able to tour the entire farm. I read one of her 10 dogs passed away last year. I was caught off guard because u thought there was only one dog on the property. I have a phobia of dogs so this was not cool in my book. After I arrived, I was greeted and I asked if the dog goes into the restaurant and Flor said yes, but the dog is really old. The only thing in my favor was the dry heat. It was so hot, the dogs were in one of buildings in the ac trying to stay cool. When you walk in there is an ice cream cart on your left, a bar on the right, and the restaurant straight ahead along he views of the mountains, and turtle pond. The chicken burger exceeded my expectations, but unfortunately, fries are not served on Mondays for some odd reason, so I opted to substituted for a side salad. The salad was topped with a cheese viniagerette, which was really good. I ordered a cinnamon roll to go but made the highest mistake of not tasting it because leaving the compound. It was sooooo good I was mad at myself for not purchasing more. I’m upset now, thinking about it while writing his review. Holy cow, the sausage pizza topped with arugula was very delicious. My hubs hit it with bacon and I loved it minus the arugula, arugula is just not my thing. The menu have three fresh juice options, but the juice I ordered was. It sweet for me, overpower of beets. Flora grows her own produce and serve it fresh, to your table. Come on Flo, we have to keep the dogs away while people are eating. Even though I have a phobia, people have allergies, and I can’t imagine the thought of a dog running in a prep area shedding hair. That thought along worries me.

An amazing escape from the mexican food in Cabo. After staying in our all inclusive resort for 3 days, I was about ready to try anything else! It is a beautiful oasis in the desert that serves up delicious, organic food. I docked 1 star due to the price. $ 20 for a 12 inch pizza? yes. it was delicious… yes. i was on vacation, but still! i’m in mexico! overall, a nice ambiance and I would recommend anyone in the cabo area to visit. We rented a car and almost got lost going home after dinner(no lights out), so I would suggest having a gps handy. bacon tomato pizza– 4⁄5 generous portions of sweet bacon and fresh tomatoes. crispy wood fired pizza. melty mozarella cheese. need I say more? yellowtail mango ceviche– 3⁄5 this was good! but There were literally 7 or 8 teeny tiny chunks of mangoes. The few bites of mango I was able to capture were delicious! the fish was fresh(no food poisoning here!) chocolate cake– 5⁄5 soft, indulgent, not too sweet. layered in between was a delicious frosting that had a mild dark chocolate flavor. topped with a mint leaf! be sure to go for dinner when they play outdoor movies and have popcorn and lemonade!

This restaurant is part of a large farm + housing complex about 15 minutes outside San Jose del Cabo along a dirt road. The place is pretty big and very popular with the tourists. You need reservations for dinner, but not for lunch. I had a really good marinara pizza, but the most expensive ever at $ 20USD — they charge the same price for the simple pizzas as they do for the fancy pizzas with expensive toppings. Veggie chips also good, especially the beet chips. Farmarita was good. Hibiscus sorbet ok. Since they have their own private organic farm, I had hoped there would be more vegan options. They also have a store that’s very similar to the one they have in the historic(touristy) part of San Jose del Cabo — veggies, soaps, olive oil, bread, etc.
