I wasn’t sure what to expect as this is in the tourist section of cabo by the boats. The service is excellent and it’s very nicely decorated. We ordered tacos and they were amazing. They came with three sauces. One guacamole and one mango and a salsa. This place is great and we will be back in our next cruise. Inexpensive too. Highly recommended.

Great, friendly staff that is willing to bring you whatever you are looking for, even if you are on the chase lounge in the sand. Great prices as well. Pancakes on the beach for $ 4…not a bad deal! :)

I don’t review restaurants or other businesses but this restaurant was so good, I had to give it 5 stars. Beautiful location on the beach with the waves splashing and the moonlight glowing. The food was amazing. Jumbo shrimp with veggies and baked potato. Even their warm bun appetizer were amazing. Loved this place.

beach front seating. we came here for lunch our and then came back for breakfast the next day. service on the beach was a little slow, since the main restaurant sits behind the beach front seating. otherwise the food was delicious, serves a lot(food can be shared between two people) and the prices were affordable. recommended spot.

Very very fun atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly, the bar stools are swings, the mojitos are delicious and fresh, and the live bands make it a perfect place to enjoy some cocktails and music along the beach.

On my 2nd day in Cabo, I wasn’t sure where to go for breakfast in the morning. As I was wandering around, I realized they were open for service. I figured it couldn’t hurt to have breakfast with a beautiful view of the water. I had Eggs and Chilaquiles with a verde sauce. It was good standard fare with some fresh fruit. I had some mimosas to make the experience more enjoyable. The place is great in that it’s right on the beach so it’s great to swim in the water and then head back to have a drink or two. Knowing where it was, I wasn’t expecting stellar food. That’s why I went to other places for some great eats(see my other reviews for them, many of which were within walking distance). But for a simple American breakfast and easy access to drinks on the beach, you can’t do wrong.

If you’re ever walking down Medano Beach, it’s hard NOT to stop by this place. You’re instantly drawn into the swings. It’s such a cute spot. The drinks are a bit pricey, but they’re good. My boyfriend and I got mojitos, we didn’t order anything to eat. It’s a great location, service was quick, and you could sit back and swing life away with the beautiful view of the beach.

I love this place because it’s like a dayclub style cabana bed to lounge on while you get to go to the beach to cool off-all while you get to drink and eat out in the sun! I just wish the food tasted better. I got the idea in my silly head that since we were near the ocean, their sushi would be good. I got their special roll and it was so nasty. Hands down the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Their chips and guac were also nothing special. Still, the service was nice and it’s a great place to relax if you have time to kill before or after a beach activity. They won’t also try to kick you off after your meal and drinks so you can truly spend all day lounging around there.

Food used to be very good years ago, but it has gotten worse over the years. Nowadays, it’s hit and miss on what is good here. Although the food is okay at best, the service is horrible. Today my family and I ate here for dinner, and the service was bad. It took about 45 mins for us to get our food, and it is not even crowded here at all. My grandmothers food was correct, but my mothers was not, and neither was mine. Finally we got another server that took care of us, and apologized for the mistakes(our previous waiter was not helpful). It took over an hour for me to get my food correct. Yes it was. good, but that doesn’t excuse the bad service. With how much money the meals cost, and the quality of the food and service, it is so much better to go into downtown Cabo San Lucas. There are many places that are cheaper, with food of better quality and quantity, and better service.

We parked it at the swing bar three days in a row– fun spot for idle chilling on the beach, people watching and they didn’t mind our Yahtzee game on the bar ;). The bar staff takes care of you well and keep drinks flowing. We wanted top shelf which is not 2for1 happy hour menu but you either pay now or pay later right? The guacamole could have been spicier. Would definitely return here next trip to Cabo.

Definitely closer to 3.5 stars, mainly because I wasn’t blown away by their cocktails, but man do they make up for it with those swings and that location. We never ended up eating there(we had an all inclusive at our own hotel which was a 5 – 10 minute walk from Mendano Beach) but we did spend most mornings/afternoons in the water/at the bar. I tried a couple different cocktails(Margarita/Mai Tai) which were fine(a little too sweet for my tastes) but mainly stuck to buckets of beer. I really enjoyed going for a dip in the ocean and being able to walk back and grab a drink and cool off on the swings. Service was friendly, and prices were pretty affordable(a couple of pesos per drink and if I am remember correctly, awesome HH prices).

I ate at a lot of other restaurants, and this as one of my least favorites while being in Cabo. I didn’t hate it, but didn’t love it. The best parts were that they had free wifi(ask for the password), it was conveniently located on the Marina, it was easy to be seated and the staff was friendly. I had a delicious watermelon margarita, blended, not too sweet. The worst parts were that the check took FOREVER to come out, and I have no idea why? We asked several times, and we even asked different waiters because ours wasn’t coming around often enough. It was crowded because people were watching the March Madness game, but it was unreasonable how long we were actually waiting. The cheese on my chicken enchiladas was cold. :(

I really like this place. The atmosphere is probably the best in Cabo. You get great Mexican food and the best flower tortillas in Cabo. Not to mention a vibrant beach scene with tones of beach rentals. I highly recommend this place and I did not get sick like other reviewers said.

A bar on the beach with swings instead of bar stools? YES please! Also, the best cucumber mojito I’ve ever had. If you’re in Cabo, this place is a must to grab a drink and chill.

I came to this restaurant with friends on our last night in town, they chose the place. Centrally located, we requested a table on the beach, it was fun to take off my shoes and dig my toes into the sand. Service was good, the restaurant wasn’t very busy(on a Sunday night) so our server checked in with us regularly. The restaurant is mostly a seafood restaurant and that was a big part of why we chose it. I ordered lobster enchiladas. Enchiladas aren’t always my favorite(the sauce isn’t my favorite). But these enchiladas were a perfect fusion of seafood and traditional Mexican food. The sauce, in this case, was nicely infused with lobster and had a creamy and rich flavor. Everyone in my party enjoyed their entrée, everything was well prepared and flavorful.

This is a typical marina bar/restaurant but I will say the service was top notch and the food delicious. I had mahi mahi and it was fabulous. Others at the table had chicken, enchiladas, pizza and more. Don’t go for the pizza, but really pizza in Mexico??? It was extremely hot out the night we were there but they had ceiling fans and misters and we were just fine.

I hope to come back to review the food, but I will solely review the BAR. I mean who doesn’t want to drink at a bar that has swings for seats! How fun! The view is amazing and beautiful. It is a white table dining experience, and candle lit in the evenings. The bar is subpar. Honestly, poor bartenders are very amateur. I was hoping they could work up concoctions that were very Cabo San Lucas authentic, and so when I asked for something fun, signature to here, popular, and can get a good buzz. He gave me an Adiós.(real cries). So, know what drink and mix you want in it, because asking a suggestion will get you nowhere. The wait to get a drink does take some time between your orders. I want to say that the bartender we had is really JUST getting a feel for the bar and the bartending life all together. He was nice enough to comp a couple of drinks and I think that’s as an apology of his lack of beverage knowledge and service. Do expect to get talked to buy souvenir vendors here. Can’t escape from that.

We stumbled upon this little beach bar after having dinner. The swings at the bar is what drew us in. They were so fun! The bartenders were nice and sang and danced to some of the tunes playing. Apparently at least two people fall off the swings a day so don’t be a statistic! haha

The quintessential beach bar. Oceanfront view, tan tablecloths and wood décor all lit by candlelight and torches right on the sand. Fresh seafood prepared to perfection while keeping your feet in the sand. I tried the Veracruz cocktail, a ceviche style cocktail of jumbo shrimp, octopus and sea scallops in a tangy lemon, tomato, onion, cilantro sauce accompanied by tortilla chips and crackers. After dinner, enjoy wine or cocktails in the bar, also outside where you sit on a swing at the bar enjoying the ocean waves and enjoy conversation with new friends

Location. Location. Location. In full disclosure I got roped into a tour of the above hotel while I was walking home from dinner drunk. For suffering through the spiel about the hotel we got a number of things, one of which was money to spend at the Baja Cantina, the beautiful beach front bar and lounge area. The Baja Cantina is a flashy chain, if you stroll about town you’ll find another one in the marina. As I mentioned in previous reviews I was trying to go to places with a «locals only» type vibe but you really can’t beat the view from Baja Cantina. Also, I was dying, or to put it more literally, frying — to get a beach umbrella. We first tried to stroll in around 3 or 4pm hoping to plop into a lounge chair on the sand with an umbrella. Guess again! Access denied, all full. They had tables on the sand but that wasn’t what we were after. We came back the following day with a different strategy. Breakfast! We arrived around 10am and were given front row beach lounge chairs with umbrellas — Now this is the life. I can’t say enough about the view. It’s the kind of picturesque scene that will get you an obscene amount of «likes!» should you choose to flaunt your new found status in life. The whole beach is unfolded before the bar with a clear view of Lovers beach and the ocean dissolving into the skyline. The menu is gringo + Mexican + sushi. Weird mix, I know, but trust me on this works out some how. I had the waffles which came with fresh fruit, whipped cream and chocolate chips. Decadent and my favorite thing I had here. Chilaquiles were a little mushy for me and lacked a true kick. The huevos rancheros were more convincing as a Mexican dish in my opinion. Later in the afternoon we ventured into some nachos which did not disappoint. The chicken was very flavorful. The food wasn’t the best but I will say it was fresh and not at all sketchy. I mostly ambled around the drink menu. Margaritas, Mimosas, Coronas — bring ‘em. All domestic drinks at 2×1 which is great. You can do some do some serious drinking here without doing serious damage. I came a few days in a row and noticed a pattern. People would come, hang out for a bit, take off and come back throughout the day. They would claim their spot like a base camp and just let the waiter know they’d be back. That in mind, the area fills up and stays that way most of the day. Come early, relax and venture out as you please. The service here is incredible. Our main server«Felix» was the man, he was on top of absolutely everything. Drinks, food, refilling ice buckets, moving the umbrellas to keep the sun off of us — talk about 5 star service. The staff spoils you. As we were walking down the beach to our lounge chairs Drakes«Started from the bottom now we’re here» began to loop in my mind. Such a treat, and isn’t that what vacation is about?
