I have never seen so many people at this place on a Monday. Very nice to them busy. This place is so beautiful.

This place is awesome! Yes it is true that there are not tv’s in the rooms, but why do you need tv when you are in cabo? The pool is nice, the location is nice, the workers are incredibly nice, the restaurant is nice. Seriously they say you get what you pay for, but in this case you get better than what you paid for!

Love it, quaint, quiet but close to everything. Internet is strong. Breakfast great and bartender Umberto very personable. I really like this hotel!

My boyfriend took me to this hotel. It’s right in the redlight part of town but it’s nice for the price. No TVs in any rooms and little lighting in the first floor rooms. Internet is spotty and slow.

Excellent value for the money. At less than $ 50 for a night in prime season, you would be hard pressed to find a better deal. This hotel is on one of the major arteries and about a 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown Cabo. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in this area as well. The rooms are basic but clean and air conditioned. Noise is minimal at night and the area is safe. Staff are friendly and attentive. The pool area does fill up fast if you’re looking for a lounger to tan so get there early! Hotel also provides pool towels for free. The bar is quant but there are also many other choices within a short waking distance if you’re looking for a different crowd. This hotel does cater to a more mature group and I never saw any young kids here my entire stay. The shuttle ride from the airport is ~$ 35 but may include several stops at other hotels along the way. It took me over an hour to get to the hotel. The shuttle back was a direct ride with no stops and took a half hour.

If you are looking for upscale, five star, four star, three star or comfort, look elsewhere. If you, like me, are looking for a place to spend approximately three to four hours of unconscious time, maybe rinse off afterward, walk the downtown area, the strip, the marina, especially the proximity to the Giggling Bean Coffee, then this is for you. It was absolutely perfect for us and we could not have been happier to have chosen it. It is known as the fisherman’s hotel and for good reason. It has everything a fisherman needs close by. The Giggling Bean Coffee is less than a blocks walk, opens at approximately 4 am, provides great conversation, coffee, bag lunches, out of this world breakfasts, everything a fisherman needs for a day on the water and a night on the town. The marina is two blocks walk. It is a huge marina however and getting to your charter may take a little longer. It did for us but the walk to and from was always beautiful, interesting, and entertaining. At night, the strip of great, low key, local bars and night clubs is within four to five blocks walk. $ 20, 60 – 70 min massages are everywhere and great. Awesome and I mean AWESOME food abounds. The beach is just beyond the marina and has great activities(jet ski, glass bottom boats, snorkeling, fishing) and awesome food and bars. At night, the hotel is quite. It has a nice pool and friendly staff. The rooms are adequate. Some might call the beds a little stiff but it bothered me none. it is safe and includes a attendant managed safe deposit box. It is location, location, location and is the only place I plan on staying on my future visits. There will be many. There is not a better value to be had. I am giving it five stars because that is what it is for what I have described and it could not be better at that. However, it is certainly not for everyone so be forewarned.

Old-school flop house for fishermen, couples bumming around the Cape, and partiers who appreciate the proximity to rub and tug shops and Cabo Wabo. Two stars because it’s useful, safe and comfortable, and a third because I’m used to the place.
