Worst Mcdonalds, in the universe. Cook and cashier both looked hung over this morning. Music blaring, food was not even half way cooked. Threw it all out. entire bag was wet from grease. Cashier could not make change… in pesos. his money.

All other reviews about crazy long waits are 100% true. Can’t blame the staff tho, they worked their ass off when we were there. Problem was there was one order taker and one cook. Do NOT plan to «Pop in» for a quick bite, especially breakfast. Ordered a diet coke w ice and did not get sick.

Honestly, this is a McDonalds and probably exactly what you expect. The is some beautiful additional seating upstairs and the place isn’t usually busy. It’s main clientele are locals and young travelers. The breakfast here goes until 11am, then quickly switches to lunch. The prices are really cheap compared to places in the hotel zone, but again, it’s McDonalds. There are McMolletes in the morning, which appear to be English muffins with beans and cheese, along with breakfast burritos, pancakes and ice creams. For lunch there are some Mexican burger meals that are pretty good with fries and a drink for 77 – 110 pesos. They are constantly changing their Mcflurry flavors, which is definitely worth giving a try. For 29 pesos you get a great sweet treat.

Mexicans in Cancun have much to learn about fast food. When did it take over 30 minutes to prepare a Big Mac? They north-of-the-border counterparts are much more efficient and competent at the assembly line model. Here, they’ve taken the Mexican Minute to a whole new level. I don’t care if it’s not politically correct. I don’t care if I sound racist. I just wasted nearly an hour at McDonald’s when I could’ve been anywhere else in Cancun. You’re better off when a street vendor. At least they’re cheaper and faster. I’m always curious about variations in American fast food chains abroad but regret stepping foot into this particular franchise. Even the managers seem completely clueless. How do you forget 2 ice cream cones after we’ve reminded you about our order and stood in front of the counter for another 10 minutes? The only time I’ve had a McDonald’s burger cold. Yeah, that’s how long the sandwich sat on the counter(not the heat lamp). So what’s different about McDonald’s Mexico? They’ve got jalopeno poppers called chiliquesos. And something called Mcpatatas Jr. That resemble potato wedges.
