This restaurant has a beautiful interior and service is very good too. It was a bit slow the day we went though. I tried their mini potato sandwich and loved them and also tried the lamb, found it to be a bit strong in its own flavor. Cheesecake was excellent. Chips were served with goat cheese dip and it was good as well. The waiter went out of his way to ask me if I wanted anything for my little one and brought her some fries.

We ate here as part of the all inclusive option as a recommendation from our butler. The service was great. The food was average the appetizers were the best part of the meal but, they are tiny. The rolls they bring around are the same rolls on the buffet from lunch… they should be hot or something. Same with the chips and salsa it’s the same one they have on the buffet. Felt the food lacked some spices and flare but, it can be expected at an all inclusive.

«I would stand in line for this There’s always room in life for this Oh baby, oh baby Then it fell apart, it fell apart» Extreme Ways — Moby How close did Mole come to getting a 5 star review? Imagine your team is winning a ball game by a 7 – 0 score. Its the bottom of the ninth, the opposition has no men on base, two outs, and an 0 – 2 count on its worst hitter. Then KABOOM — the roof caves in and your are left in a state of incredulity. Had Mole executed something as simple as bringing coffee out, this would have been a 5 star review. First of all, Mole is the nicest restaurant we have seen so far at our hotel. It is a three time AAA4-Diamond winner. The interior is drop dead gorgeous, pink/orange walls, dark wood trim, silver accents on the walls and stamped silver plates hanging from the ceiling. Glasswork and sculptures in partition wall glass. Huge heavy wood chairs that reminded me of thrones. Outstanding professionalism from the servers. We started with a welcoming margerita in a chilled glass. There were three kinds of rolls served with 2 kinds of butter. Chips and guacamole. All of this rolled out before we ordered anything. I ordered a salad with Mexican cheese, a bowl of Chicken soup, and a tremendous dish of tequila shrimp in orange sauce. The shrimp was the best dish I have had in Cancun — four moist(not overcooked) shrimp with a sweet flavorful glaze. Perfection. Our party of three was having a great meal –food, sangrias, mojitos… it was all a five star experience. We decided to wrap things up with three coffees and three desserts. We ordered 2 Tres Leche cakes and a flan with three coffees. The desserts came out soon –but no coffee? A guy checked in on us, and we mentioned the coffee. By now the desserts were half finished. Another guy checked in on us and we asked about the coffees again, and he said they were coming. By now the desserts were all gone. After a few more minutes, we decided something had failed and the evening ended on a weird note as we just left without the coffees. So because things fell apart at the end, no 5-star review. But this was a terrific meal in a gorgeous place, definitely a very strong 4 star!

–Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. That is something I’ve always believed in. That being said, this place ended up being the reverse of what that saying usually is implied towards. The restaurant is beautiful, with an amazing view! It is very small and quaint with yellow hues that scream Mexican Villa. I was ready to be blown away by deliciousness! Unfortunately…the food was mediocre at best. The meats were dry, the soups were bland and the appetizers lack luster. The only thing I enjoyed was the chips and dip they bring to your table while you are deciding on your meal. The dip was some form of sour cream and yogurt with other spices. It was very good. The service was also great which was a common fact around this place. This is one of two places I would not recommend at this resort.

This place was pretty good. Not the absolute best I’ve had in Cancun, but better than some. As the name calls for, I had the mole and it was pretty good. They have a traditional mole and a mole blanco sauce; I had them both and they were par. Children are not allowed here, so plan accordingly. MAKERESERVATIONS!!! Even if only for 1 or 2.

No kids allowed so my hubby and I had to dine separately since we really wanted to try this place. Overall it was ok. I was a huge fan of the tortilla soup which was very flavorful. The pumpkin flower quesadillas were also very tasty and different. The vegetable skewer entrée was a disappointment. Vegetarians need more than a few pieces of grilled veggies and rice for dinner! Wish they had more exciting options for us.

Average overall. Haven’t even gotten to the meal and I am distracted to write my review. Hotttttt. Had to go to the room and change my shirt.

Highly recommended by the staff, traditional mariachi band making rounds, margaritas made from Blue Agave(they share a «wall»). What more could a 20something ask for? We ate here on our third night since the reservation list is packed. It was a late dinner which was fine since we had eaten a few tacos and had our share of margaritas at blue agave earlier. We were seated with a night view of the pool and ocean. It seemed really quiet and serene outside. We ordered soup first. The soups are served with all of the substantial ingredients prepped in a bowl. The broth is served on the side then poured over everything by the server. Both the chicken and cheese avocado soups were delightful. For a main dish, i got lamb tacos. You are served a helping of shredded lamb, avocado, radish, etc and a few tortillas. This was absolutely delicious. As for my partner in crime, he was not as thrilled with the stuffed poblano pepper. When I had a bite it was sweet which was not my cup of tea at the moment so i didn’t enjoy it as much either. He did enjoy the lamb though so win in my column!
