Subway

I was really disappointed by this Subway. Not only do the sandwiches cost twice as much as they would at a regular Subway in the states, but they had half the normal amount of ingredients, too. For us, it cost $ 9.00 American for a Veggie Delight Sub. That was nearly $ 20 for two sandwiches. So, if you want to eat there, be prepared.
I do not fault the staff at all. They were definitely overwhelmed, and were doing their best. I fault the managment for not being prepared for the rush that occurred the day we were there.
Note that there are two Subways in this airport. The first one is near doors 7 and 8. The other one is further down near doors 1 and 2. It did not seem to be quite as busy at the secon one, but, still, pretty busy.
They kind of have you by the balls here because it is after security, and you can’t take food through security on International flights. The only other options before the fast food shops is candy, cookies, and crap like that.
There is a pizza place down there along with a Carl’s Junior, (no one was paying much attention to the yogurt shop), but lines were just as long at each.
You’d do better to eat well before your 45 minute shuttle to the airport than to pay the exhorbitant prices for the weak sandwiches you will recieve. Everything else about the Subway was the same as in the U.S. Same options, same flavor, and same product — just not as much of it for twice the price.

The Cabo airport can be a zoo — the staff @subway was very patient, had great english, and made great sandwiches!
Bravo to a great staff of young people working very hard in a very hectic environment!
