As big wine drinkers, we were excited to find out that Ensenada is Mexico’s wine making region and on our very first visit to the area, we stumbled upon this adorable little wine bar. It was so quiet that we were the only customers on a Saturday afternoon in November(though I imagine this place gets crowded at night). The girl working was super friendly and kind(and spoke great English too). The wine bar offers an economical way to try out all sorts of local wine without investing in an entire bottle of something you don’t like. This bar, like most wine bars, offers flights of various local varietals. We opted for a flight of red wine to share. We had three large pours of local wine and were invited to take a seat on one of the comfortable leather couches while we sipped. Bonus: they have FREEWI-FI! This is more of a local place than a tourist place. We left with a bottle of local cabernet. A great souvenir that will surely get used! Buy wine, not t-shirts!
