El Hornito Argento

Wandering around the packed dirt streets of this tiny Mexcan town we decided to try a pizza at El Hornito Argento … it was a very good decision. My wife and I split a Margarita pizza that was simply delicious. Cheesy and hot with extra thin crust that came out of the high heat oven in less than 10 minutes. Ice cold beer, hot pizza and flip flops optional. What more needs to be said?

The pizza is excellent. Nicely charred thin crust pizza with well crafted toppings. Our kids can be fussy eaters, but they polished their pizza off in record time.
The lobster pizza was pretty good, but not exceptional.
We will definitely return.

The pizza here is excellent. I was in Holbox with a friend for 5 days last week and we ate here 4 times. The quatro quesos was my favorite but everything is exceptional. Cooked in a wood fire oven, the pizzas cook in about 2 minutes and come out nearly as fast. The crust is perfect, thin and crisp. The sauce, herbs, cheese, and toppings are fresh and delicious. I wish they would open one in Austin. I am a pizza perfectionist and this place delivers. You will not be disappointed. The staff is friendly and the beer is cold. It will be my first and likely last stop on my next trip to the island.

This place was great, friendly attentive and quick service. The waiter we had spoke both Spanish and English. We had the empanadas which were amazing! And we had the Margarita pizza which was also tasty. If you’re in doubt about other restaurants in the area, come here instead.

Definitely my go to for place for pizza after a day swimming with whale sharks.

Situado en la plaza de la iglesia, es uno de los restaurantes que está más lleno de pueblo. Tiene un horno de leña, y las pizzas están muy buenas. Tienen pizza de langosta, que pedimos, pero no la tenían disponible porque es época de veda. La verdad es que le hubiese dado más puntuación, pero cuando pagamos, se hicieron los remolones al entregarnos la vuelta por si se la quedaban.
