Best time ever! They treat you like VIP, drinks are reasonable & not watered down. The ladies with the Jell-O shots are hilarious. You can dance on the tables, the music they play right on for dancing, the waiters also dance and keep you entertained. Love this place!!!

It’s got a grittier Miami/Euro club vibe to it then what you’ll experience at a more Americanized nightclub like Mandala, but this place is definitely worth a visit(or 3) the next time you’re in Cabo. I did have some gripes with the place though. First, the third floor was closed for renovations(booo!) second, the waiters and waitresses hound you for drinks, and they’re not cheap. $ 15 Red Bull vodkas?! No thanks! I definitely liked Mandala more than this place, but it can’t be skipped over on your next group vacation here!

El Squid Roe is insane, anything goes and everyone feels at home here. The drinks were very reasonable too. The waitresses can be a little pushy with the shots, but they are dirt cheap– and hey, don’t you want to have fun? Aren’t you on vacation, and spending too much money anyway? Even if you don’t think you’re much of a «club» type person, you’ll like it here– I did. I’m 38 years old, and acutely aware of places I think I’m too old to be in. You won’t feel this way at El Squid Roe. The music was a great mix, you can swing from the bars above the tables, dance ON your table or just chill and watch the crowd– your call! Don’t miss out on this Cabo gem, your trip won’t be complete without it!

We arrived before 9pm, during a private party, waited at the Irish Pub next door to enter at 10pm. Only wish we could experience this place at 1am during Spring Break, it must be insane. But even early on a Friday night, it was rocking by 11pm. Drinks are excellent, the 80’s music videos had us enjoying the sing a longs and the MC of the club was happy to make the four of us some crazy balloon hats, give us crayons to draw on the butcher paper on our table and encourage us to dance on them later. This is the place to party!

No you’re not trippin, it;s just El Squid Roe. This place is insane! Hubby and I were here on Saturday night at around 11:30 stayed till almost 3 and the party was still going strong! Jam packed, everyone dancing like no one is watching(except some creepy Mexican men that were standing along the edges just staring…) The DJ was killing it! Hip hop music and a little techno… You’re gonna dance till your feet hurt. Mostly tourists there from all ages, teenagers adults and some seniors! We didn’t even have drinks we just had a couple of jello shots just for fun … For some reason money was thrown at us from above, so we ended up making money that night haha If you want crazy insane none stop fun and dancing come here!

If you wanna experience South Beach in Mexico look no further than Squid Roe and Pink Kitty, located in the Marina area on the strip in Los Cabos this is the hotspot for the young crowd in the area gets pretty crazy in there and if your there to have a good time for loud music and jumping around this will be great for you. But if you want some good mixed drinks please look elsewhere because the drinks are absolutely terrible. Ive never had a worse margarita in my life and I once had a blind monk make me one so that’s saying something(jk haha) They have a signature Squid Roe drink and it was terrible as well so I strongly suggest you order Beer and stay away from the rest. They forcibly ask for tips which is crazy but hey its Mexico. Still had a good time there but buyer beware! lol

Place is pretty damn good. 1st time here & prolly my last but I hope not. Chicken tacos are amazing. Had to dance with 1 of the host but hey I didn’t mind. El squid roe is where it’s at. If ever in Cabo, check this place out. Turns into a night club a Lil later. Might come back tonight, never know!

Came here 10⁄23(fri). This place was jumping. Drinks prices were good. The amount of space in the club was good. 4 different levels. DJ played a good variety of music. Played a lot of Atlanta hip hop actually, which is what I am down for. Then he took it up North and out West. I would definitely visit this place again. Taxi rides from Downtown Cobo San Lucas to Riu Palace — $ 14USD.

Great place to party. Three stories. Diverse mix of music. No cover charge. Reasonably priced drinks. What more can you ask for?! Went here on a Friday night and my only complaint is that I would have liked to hear more up-to-date hip hop songs, many of the ones played were older. Nevertheless, I was actually shocked at the amount of hip hop they actually played– especially being that most of it were artists from my hometown of Atlanta, Ga. I enjoyed myself here. And it was the first time in a long time that I enjoyed myself, sober, at a nightclub. When I return to Cabo, I’d definitely check out El Squid Roe again if I’m looking to party in town.

if you want a good time, dance on tables and drink like a fish… go to squid roe. My friends and I went in September when it was off season, although the club wasn’t packed we still had a great time!

Neon lights. Overwhelming décor. Loud music. Squid Roe is about what you expect/want when you’re going out for a crazy night in Cabo. There are multiple balconies all the way up to the rooftop on the 4th floor, but all look down into the bottom dance floor. Its hot inside and full of vacationers dancing and drinking until they close at 4am. You won’t find any locals here. Everyone is there to party and I would say that pretty much anything goes. Overall not bad, not the best, but just right and worth stopping in when you’re making the bar/club circuit.

This place got wild on a Saturday night or a Monday morning! Loved it! Saturday night this place was packed — could barely move around. Lots of dancing, very entertaining. Monday morning we stopped in for a margarita but the bar staff gave us a personal show including free drinks. Two floors with some balcony areas for dancing above the second floor. No cover.

El Squid Roe definitely gives off the vibe of a Señor Frogs. Throw in booze, tequila shot lines, live music with a bumping dj, and plenty of alcohol related contests– you can be sure to expect a night you may boot remember every minute of the night. ESR is family friendly during the day but don’t expect this place to hold back from the booze centric environment. You will find guests playing flip cup or beer pong in exchange for even more free alcohol or shots. You know this place has it down to a science when they were even able to get my parents to compete in the beer drinking games and«booze-lympics» during our dinner. Once it hits about nine pm, the kids are forced into cages and disappear so the adults can have some real fun. Ok so maybe the jail like feature isn’t for that but it would be funny right? Right? The food is decent but obviously being in San Lucas you’ll want to focus on Mexican food or seafood. What ultimately makes this place so fun and unique is the multi-floor and aesthetic of ESR. It’s so much fun and has a care free environment that you’ll want to carry the night away. The staff is very entertaining and have no problem finding a way to get you out of your seat to embody the beach life Cabo has. You bet your ass I’ll be visiting this place when I’m back in Cabo; hopefully, sooner than later of course.

I wouldn’t call this place a club even though there are makeshift stages and bumpin music(good mix of everything that gets you jiggy)-because it’s more like a restaurant and bar to me, with tables and seats everywhere. There are tourists and locals in even ratios so it’s not a foreignfest, but the prices are high enough that it screams«tourist hotspot». I did like how it had two stories so it wasn’t too packed downstairs, and yet the people upstairs were able to look down and enjoy the view. The bathroom was also clean which was surprising, but it’s weird to me how the doors are shorter than my height.

In the last few years, most clubs in America have deviated towards EDM and house music, which you can bob up and down to but it’s hard to dance to. Good news is, Squid Rod is truly a club on steroids — high on strobe lights, early 2000s and Top 40 music, and tons of bass. This means you can both sing and karaōke to nearly all the songs they play! Squid Roe is EPIC, to say the least. It’s in a category all its own and puts all other clubs in Vegas to shame. Right when you get out of your cab on Los Cabos, Squid Roe stands out with its bright lights and store front. Upon arrival, you feel like you truly are in Cabo — Cabo nightlife defined. You are immediately transported on a double decker bus. Towards the back there is even a stage and tables people are dancing on. A go-to place when you are in Cabo… I guarantee you will never react to whistles or jello shots the same way again.

Probably the worst bar I went to. We went during the day so it wasn’t in full swing, but I saw everything I needed to in order to know I’d never be back. Its like a combo chuck-e-cheese, mcdonalds play pen area, and dave and busters i guess? I was really confused. Everything was sticky, music was shitty. I sort of hated this place.

A must stop on any Cabo trip. You have to love the campy-ness(not sure if that’s even a word) and the Jell-O shots server by Jose-Jose(I’m not making this name up, great guy!) as well as the way of the hook touristy drinks. But, it’s a staple of what the town is all about and day is for sure LESS fun than night… but the food is pretty good. We had the burgers and my daughter had the best nachos ever. Huge and piled with all kinds of good stuff. But the best is the fun! And the smiles on everybody’s face when they walk in, it’s a zoo. make sure you get the pictures as the tequila starts flying. Sit back and just go with the flow. Iconic spot… go ahead and buy the tee-shirt. It’s the one thing you might actually remember.

Our group of girls were led in here and they brought a huge martini glass of punch right away… we didn’t even ask for it. We also had multiple rounds of shots brought to our table when we didn’t order any of them. Did we have fun? Yes. We danced around, had a good time and decided to head to the next bar. That’s when they held us there to hand us a bill over $ 120 for drinks the first guy said were«free» and that we never asked for. BEWARE, free does not mean free at a lot of the bars. There’s workers dancing all on the tables throughout the bar and they’ll try to grab you to dance with them. There’s a shady upper level that we never even breached due to the skeezy look of it.
