The seafood here is very fresh. Price is very reasonable. Took my wife here for her birthday dinner. She got the whole red snapper with garlic and butter while I got the garlic shrimp and fillet fish. Both were very good. The chips and salsa they provide could use a little work.

Best seafood meal I have ever eaten — no joke! The food was so fresh and flavorful. I had the seafood combo that included: fried red snapper, grilled octopus, grilled garlic shrimp, lobster, and blue crab. Had an order of the coconut shrimp as well — incredible! The service was great and the ambience was so welcoming. Love, love, love this place! If you don’t eat here when you visit, you’re missing out on a culinary treat. My friends, wife, and I ate like royalty for barely any money at all!

Fish ceviche was really delicious! We also had the seafood soup, rockefeller oysters, lobster in garlic, fish meniere style and shrimp in garlic butter. The entrees were served with a little rice, carrots, chayote and tortillas. Margaritas & flan were good too. It was a plus that we got to watch the football game between the Seahawks & Vikings. We enjoyed this meal more compared to the Mex$ 6000 dinner & drinks which we had at the resort.

Shrimp for two was ok. Oysters on the half shell were warm. Lobster tails were small. Overall ok but probably would not come back. I would rather eat at Tres Islas.

Excellent food, good service and reasonable prices! Based on a local recommendation, we decided to try this place and I am glad we took the advice of other Unilocal reviews. There were 3 of us so we decided to order the combination special for 870 pesos which comes with two lobster tails, a crab, a grilled fish, several shrimp and octupus. Everything was prepared deliciously with butter and garlic and served with rice, vegetables and tortillas. It says it serves 2 people but really feeds 3 – 4.

On our way to our hotel, some gentleman requested to be dropped off here. We finally found this place and I now know why the gentleman wanted to be dropped off here. We had the fish ceviche, marlin tacos and picante shrimp. Yummers. I will try to come back one more time before heading home!

Wonderful! Just off the main road by squid roe. Super seafood, big and clean. Grilled red snapper was the best

6 of us went for dinner. All of us agreed it was the best food we’ve had in Cabo, and some of us have been coming for over 22 years… great food, reasonable prices, clean establishment. We’ll be back!!!

I’ve been coming to Cabo San Lucas for years and I have eaten many places. In fact, I’ve been coming to Mexico for years and have eaten all over this beautiful country. Mariscos Mazatlán is one of my favorite places to go. It is the best when it comes to places to eat Octopus and the Margaritas are absolutely perfect! No crazy made up drink, just the real deal. Catch a fish and bring it in. We did and we had so much wonderful fish that they made for us that we were sharing it with other tables. This is a local joint, yes, some tourists show up but, lots of locals and for very good reason. The whole Grilled Fish is unreal. Ask for Nacho, he is the best server there. Tell him Mano said«Hi» and that I’ll see him soon.

This restaurant was a little off the beaten path but very easy to find. The staff was welcoming and knowledgable. Our party of three tried the shrimp stuffed avocado, which was excellent. We also had the Grilled fish meniere style, which was very tasty but slightly greasy, the fish zarandeado and the beef quesadillas. The fish zarandeado was a large whole red snapper and was excellent. The beef quesadillas came with some yummy guacamole. It was good to see many locals dining here with their families. There were some cheesy mariachi players, which I find slightly annoying but overall, this was the best value meal we have had in Cabo.

Was walking around town one day and wanted fish and found this place on Unilocal. Clean establishment, nice ceiling fans to keep cook while dining, large dining room, friendly service and great menu with tons of options. Enjoyed some Ceviche and fresh garlic fish which was Sea Bass. Everything was tasty, prepared perfectly and did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable and overall it was a fabulous dining experience for lunch. I left completely full. This place is a must stop for lunch or dinner when in Cabo!

My husband and I read the raving reviews of their guac and we went to try mariscos for that reason and ending up being disappointed that their guac was very bland and warm. It lacked flavor so adding salsa or hot sauce helped a bit. For our entrees we ordered the coconut shrimp which we highly recommend. It was probably one of the best coconut breaded shrimps we’ve ever had. They used actual coconut strips and the sweet mango sauce complemented the shrimp very well. I ordered the grilled fish filet which was seasoned very well and absolutely delicious. Both entrees came with steamed carrots and potatoes with rice. The rice was pretty good and had a hint of lime. We paid about $ 33.08 usd for our dinner meal.

I would give this restaurant five stars just based on the food but the service made me subtract a star. When we first sat down, the waiter thought we were being cheap because my husband did not want a bottled water and just wanted the filtered tap water. Once we ordered, the waiter had a little more pep to his step. We ordered the seafood boat(not sure of the correct menu name). On this«boat» we got 4 crabs, two lobster tails, a whole red snapper(you can pick your fish), shrimp, and my favorite, octopus!!! I am drooling just thinking about how delicious everything was. I wish I was a professional eater so I could have ordered one of everything on the menu to eat right then and there. I will definately be back to Mariscos if I ever find myself in Cabo again.

So fricking good!!! Had the sampler plate, it’s the only way to go. The shellfish and fish were all amazing. I still think about how delicious that meal was. It’s off the beaten path, take a taxi there and back. They try to sell you time shares during the meal, just blow it off and have a big ass margarita and stuff your face with shrimp, lobster, fish and crab. I don’t know how they cooked it, it was simply perfect.

My family decided to dine here on our last night in Cabo. After spending some time at the marina, we walked over to enjoy the seafood combination plate(more like boat), which I see someone else already described. Lobster, red snapper, crab, shrimp, and octopus for about $ 35(430 pesos) per person. They said this was a plate for 2, but I would have to believe you could feed at least 4 people with this thing. The crab and the octopus were delicious, as was the whole red snapper, which we ordered as a substitution for cod(the default fish of the day). Unfortunately, the lobster was dry and overcooked and the shrimp was incredibly salty. My grandmother loves salty things though, so this was actually not the worst thing. The chips and salsa were killer — fill up on those and take home leftovers! It’s true that this place didn’t come across as terribly touristy overall as far as crowd goes. There was, however, a pretty terrible«musician» coming around to each table offering to perform, which I have to assume is really only exciting when you’re about 3 margs in. After a feeble attempt to cover«Sweet Caroline» he left us alone. Not sure I would come back here, but I am definitely glad I got to try it.

Well worth straying from the tourist area for. My buddies had the Fish Zarandeado, red snapper, and that was the best choice from our table. I had the fish tacos which were solid too. I had a margarita which was well done and not too sweet. The ambiance was just perfect. Exactly what we were looking for in Mexico. We are going back to try the Campechanas.
