This place has really good guacamole. I could eat their guacamole all day long. I really came for the seafood and it didn’t disappoint. We had the butterfish and it was cooked to perfection. It was plated on a bed a rice and served with a salad. I was quite surprised by how good the rice was and even though we did not finish our rice we told the waiter it was very good. If you decide to stay into the evening they have karaōke and I believe a band that performs. Mariscos has a nice selection of seafood dishes to choose from. I want to go back and try a few more. I like this place and can’t wait to try it again.

…read a few reviews on Unilocal about this place and Tripadvisor so thought it would be ok to try. In a sentence– save yourself a twenty minute walk & $ 100. Friendly server(Angel) but no AC. Cadillac Margaritas at $ 170 pesos were average. Shrimp al ajillo appetizer was average. The only fish they had by the filet was sea bass(cabrilla) and this is supposed to be a fish restaurant with fresh seafood and fish daily. The snapper you had to order the whole fish which is too much and takes too long to cook. I ordered seabass veracruz & my hubby al mojo de ajo(garlic sauce). Mine was awful & tasted like it was cooked at lunch & reheated. Hubby’s tasted a bit better but not much. Will not be back and def would not recommend.

Our waiter, Dorian was awesome; very personable. He custom ordered a dish for my husband and I with the most flavorful ANDFRESH seafood: fish, shrimp, lobster, crab and of course salad, rice beans guacamole and avocado. We will need a walk after this. They also served hand made tortillas but we were to focused on the dish to touch. They even provided us with a bowl of lime water and a towel to wash our hands

I’m so impressed with this place. I can’t say enough great things about our experience. My family & I were craving fish & we were told this is the best place to get a whole fried snapper. By far the best fried fish we’ve ever had. The Huachinango is a definite must if you’re a fish eater. But you better have an appetite. The fish ranged anywhere from 1.5 kilos to 2.5 kilos. Aside from fish, the service was very friendly & they even offered live music. After our meals were done, they were generous to call a taxi for us making it a wonderful experience.

We’ve come here annually for the past ten years. Once again, they have delivered with great seafood and terrific, friendly service. They were closed due to Odile, but are back with the same outstanding fare. We shared the seafood platter which was almost too much for the four of us. We will be back again — this is one of our all time favorites in Cabo.

Chanced upon this by accident as our original destination was closed. The service is super. Our server recommended we try a lot of items and we ended up over ordering. The seafood is fresh. The drinks were good. They were also nice enough to help me call a cab and were very attentive during the whole meal.

Four of us ate there and had a great meal. It’s casual and a large place. I doubt they ever have a wait. Food was good service was great. Two of us «guys» split the seafood platter and could not finish it

This is a jewel off the main drag in Cabo! It used to be just locals, but has been gradually attracting more and more tourists over the years. The seafood is great, and the prices even better! Abraham and Christian will certainly make your service top notch! This is a regular stop during our annual Cabo trip! Don’t forget to try the Pulpo en su Tinto(Octopus in it own ink), or in many of the other styles. It’s devine!

A little off the beaten path… Mariscos Mocambo offers great seafood dishes cooked in the Veracruz style. Although I prefer Marisocs Mazatlan better, this place is very good. The space is big, and although it’s open air, the numerous fans keep it very cool. Metal hand crafted start chandeliers light the room. Red tablecloths adorn the tables. Get ready to eat. The Camarones Mocambo are awesome… bacon wrapped shrimp with a creamy sauce. My only knock on this place is it’s not as cheap as some of the other seafood shops in town.

Great seafood and ambiance! This place is a great restaurant to get dinner. They have music and also a view of the kitchen from the tables. The staff is also very nice. This place gets a 5 star from me for all of those reasons and because I had the BEST Tortilla Soup here… seriously! Going back in October and I cannot wait!!!
