La Dolce Vita delivers exactly what anyone wants on a hot day at the beach. Unfortunately, when one is selling gelato to a crowd of hot and sweaty customers, there is no need to work hard towards perfecting your product. The gelato at La Dolce Vita delivers the cold and the sweet, both characteristics that are desireable. Yet, they fall short when it comes to flavor. There are so many amazing ice cream/gelato parlours out there these days, it would take a lot more to impress me than what I found at La Dolce Vita. Still, when you’re in the sun… sometimes the best thing in life is ice cream, no matter how it tastes.
