Sorry to those who like this place… it’s a tourist trappy feeling place. Food is not authentic and there’s much better just steps away at other places. This place must be surviving off tourists because I don’t know any locals who go here.

The music was great if your a fan of the American songbook… standards.(Sintra, Bennet, Dimone, Krall etc). They know how to cook shrimp. My companions Hawaiian /coconut shrimp were very good. I ordered their Fra Diavlo which left alot to be desired. The sauce tasted like KC masterpiece barbecue sauce out of the bottle with something hot added. Having grown up in Italian areas of the Northeast United States, this is not Fra Diavlo. The vegetables were cooked nice and firm, but were Luke warm when they arrived. The baked potatoes and rice were very nicely prepared. The by the glass wine list was rather short. If your ordering shrimp skip the Diavlo. The Hawaiian was very good and I’m fairly sure they can handle the garlic and mexican versions nicely. Diner for two was doable here for under $ 50USD after exchange rate. They take all standard credit cards. Service was adequate… a tad slow at times. Ive visited Puerto Vallarta for years. I won’t be back to this place.

Well I’m pretty excited to be the first to review this restaurant. It’s on the Marina Vallarta next door to the tequila store. They have an outdoor seating area with comfortable chairs. As we were looking at the menu we were offered two desserts for free if we ate here. This seems to be the norm on the marina if you stop to look at any of the restaurant’s menus. Hopefully as more people Unilocal the menus will be available online. As in all the restaurants, the waiters are very nice and attentive. The menu is in English. We talked to a nice lady sitting next to us who recommended a few dishes. I had a margarita(of course!) as we were sitting there there was a mariachi band walking down the marina. They stopped to ask if we wanted them to play for us. Be prepared if you’re eating outside you’re going to be approached at some point during your meal by someone wanting you to buy flowers or a song. If you politely say gracias no they won’t bother you. I ordered the fresh catch which was mahi mahi with a cilantro sauce. It’s a full plate of food they also bring bread. Yummy salsa and chips also. My husband had a dish that had thin slices of steak, I can’t remember the name but it’s a local specialty on the last page. The beef was really tender and flavorful. We were so stuffed we said no thank you to the free desserts, but the waiter insisted we take free margaritas to go! Love that!
