Fun spot on a super fun street. The vibe of this bar is everything. Easy to get a table and drinks were delicious. Wonderful spot to go for a birthday too because the band sings for toun stage.

Great atmosphere but the service and the food were lacking. The space is interesting and a good spot for having a mojito and listening to some good Cuban music, but definitely not a food destination.

Went here 3 times, mostly for the music and unique atmosphere. Drank a lot of mojitos and enjoyed the beach view from the upstairs balcony. Tried some cuban food, which was ok. It’s a fun place and worth checking out.

It has an upstairs open patio with beautiful ocean and Malecon views. Perfect area to enjoy drinks and premium cigars! Live music on the weekends makes this place a must visit.

This place is one of my «must visit restaurants» for every trip to PV. Go a little early to enjoy the sunset view of the malecón from the second floor balcony. The mojitos are amazing. The Cuban foods is a nice change from typical PV fare. Stay late and enjoy the live band and dancing!

Great Cuban restaurant where you can also purchase Cuban cigars. Went to buy some Cuban cigars in the day and at night have dinner at 9 pm the food was great and authentic also has a gourmet feeling. In Front of the restaurant there are beautiful girls greeting you! The service was great I wasn’t feeling very well I had sore throat so I asked for hot water and lemon and he brought me hot water and freshly squeezed lemon juice to add to the hot water which was great and so good! That was a super plus! The atmosphere is good of all ages didn’t see any kids but ages from 21 – 50. Another plus is that they have live music and I was here on a Tuesday !

I was visiting Vallarta and was looking for a place to dance salsa and had heard that they served original Mojitos here. Their Mojitos did not let me down, however, my boyfriend and I did not get to dance a single song :(The place is awfully crowded. Good Mojitos, not so good if you want to dance

Perfect for a night on the town. I was recently in PV visiting and my friends recommended this place. They have live music and two floors for seating. We went on a Wednesday and the place wasn’t poppin, but it was on Thursday. They make a good mojito, although it showed up in front of me when I didn’t order it and no one else claimed it either. Water comes bottled here. Getting a taxi to go back to the hotel was not a big deal and was relatively cheap. Other tourists also come here, so it’s a good place to hang.

Great friendly environment. If you love to dance, this is a great place. It does get packed with a lot of good looking people !!! I love going here, because people are so approachable and it is such a kick back environment. The live band is awesome, you will hear a lot of Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Dominican sounds that give life to the dance party. Everyone is dancing and looking for a partner, so if you can dance and love life, this is the place to go.

Think of this place like a Cuban version of Hard Rock Café. The best thing about it is the ambiance: great music, great décor, and that’s about it. Attention? Meh. Mojitos? OK but not life changing. Food? Not particularly typical(maybe the menu, but not the flavor).

Food… Really disappointing. Dry, over cooked, salty and uninspired. The paella was really quite tragic… Our server was more than apologetic, comped ½ our bill. But the MUSIC! The band was great and the dancing is so entertaining to watch. One couple came in dressed to kill… She changes into her dancing shoes and whirled the night away. The crowd was fun to watch… sadly smoking of cigars and cigarettes is common so our night was cut short. Super stinky. Fun gift shop… With young, rude sales girls… such highs and lows with our visit! Go for the music. Eat at one of the other multitude of fantastic restaurants easily found in PV!

Friend who lives in mexico recommended this place on our trip to PV and man do i owe him. The food and atmosphere was amazing. Eating good ropa, drinking mojitos and smoking a cohiba all with a view of the ocean from the boardwalk. Was definitely a highlight of the trip.

I sought out LBDM specifically for the musica and ambiance. Place was packed both Friday and Saturday, wait time for a table was 45+ minutes. The dance floor is tiny, yet the entire restaurant is fair game for dancing. Crowd is a mix an even mix of locals and tourist. Menu is overpriced, especially considering the tapa like portions, but food is tasty. For lunch, I had a guacamole, the tiny fried cheese balls, and just-right battered fish bits. I had a ton of dipping sauces to choose from including tartar, Chipotle, salsa, garlic infused oil. Dinner the next day, I had tostones again with a delicious buttery onion/garlic infused oil, shrimp taquitos(literally tiny, two small shrimp each tiny tortilla) seasoned just right, and topped it off with fried plantains served with fresh cream and honey. Considered the best salsa dance spot in PV, I will be back.

A fun restaurant to eat at in PV. The entire restaurant(and I really mean the entire place) is decorated with the graffiti of the guests and staff. So take a pen with you. But good luck finding a blank spot(even the lamp shades are covered). It makes for some fun reading. The tapas based menu is good, if not cheap. We went for plantain, ceviche, fresh guacamole and chips, and a couple of margaritas. There’s also an option to buy and smoke a Cuban cigar or two, as well as salsa lessons in the bar area. Good atmosphere, decent service, a little over priced.

If you like Cuban music, it is a nice place to visit. Live program starts at 10: PM, weekend are busy and during the week not so many people are around. Just had coffee and dessert, so I cannot give any rating for the food. Front section has large open area to view the ocean and enjoy your visit. They offer good coffee and dessert.

The food was great. We tried the Cuban chicken, the vaca frita, and chef’s fish, all three plates were delicious. Live music daily with dance lessons on Thursdays and Saturdays.

I wish I knew how to dance to Latin/Cuban music! It was a little tricky to order my drink because the dance floor was bustling with men in snug pants and ladies be swung round and round the dance floor. So exciting! The mojiots were so refreshing considering the bar(and all of PV) leaves you sweating from places you didn’t even know you could sweat from… We didn’t have any food or cigars but I loved watching all the dancers from the balcony within the bar. This place came as highly recommended and would stay it’s definitely worth stopping in just to compare it to the other bars on the same street.

DONOTENTER!!! DON“T DOIT!!! This was our worst meal of our trip. Live music never showed up, and the only defense from manager for the horrible food was that the restaurant is only Cuban inspired. The mojitos were also terrible, mint not muddled and jack Daniels for the liquor(?) who knows what they were thinking or not. A the end ½ the meal we did not eat was compted and we left as fast as we could. Don’t do it DONOTENTER!!!
