The BEST Tortas I have ever had. Yes, the tacos are good to. But the tortas are amazing. Go Combo!

7 delicious tacos, 2 sodas were $ 9.25. I have to get tacos from Taco Surf at K-38 every time I visit. Their steak adobada tacos are cooked right in front of you, topped with onions, cilantro, and smooth guacamole. They’re not the talkiest of bunch but their tacos are delicious. They also have tortas. 7 tacos, 2 sodas were $ 9.25. Parking out front next to a market although the road can sometimes be sketchy so drive with caution. Cash only.

They have amazing carne asada tacos! I did tried the barbacoa ones as well, but they weren’t as good. You can’t beat the prices either! I do recommend getting everything on your taco. I didn’t think they were spicy, but my friend(for her second one) decided to leave off the salsa because of the heat, and she said it didn’t taste the same — the heat was worth it! I did see they also made tortas as well — so I’ll be back! They do take American money.

What can I not say about my FAVORITE taco stand thus far in Mexico. I still havent figured out what makes these tacos SOOOOOOO good, but I swear I sit there contemplating while stuffing my face. I have only ordered carne asada tacos with gauc and onion but this last time i forgot to say no salsa(I am so bad at trying new spicy things). The taco was still very good… my mouth however was on fire. That is my bad though due to the fact that my taste buds are rarely introduced to spicy food. You totally need to stop here if you are going to be anywhere around this taco stand. I sometimes dream about these little tacos and how good they are… that means you should be trying this place and if you dont then you are totally missing out. Also, ending side note, I have probably consumed at least 50 or more tacos from this place(not all in one sitting) so in my eyes they are hands down a 5 star, I need to stop here every time we visit, type of establishment!

True Mexican-style street tacos and tortas. Carne asada or al pastor. Around one dollar for a taco, 3 for torta.

Tacos!!! Most weekends I almost live on nothing but tacos when visiting Mexico and I’ve had tacos up and down most of Baja Mexico. I’ve been coming to Taco surf for about 10 years now and it’s a solid shop. Frequented by mainly locals and American tourist. You don’t have to worry about getting sick here. Basic menu with Carna asada, adobada tacos and tortas. I can’t say one thing is better than the other. Both carna asada and adobada are great and everything is made and prepped fresh every morning. Located at K38 on the free road just south of Las Rocas hotel before you cross the bridge. What’s great about this spot is there is a liquor store to stock up at, surf shop and fish taco stand next door. Pro tip. They don’t frown at you if you want to have a cold beer(liquor store) with your tacos. It is illegal but everyone does it. Shhhhhhhh

One of the top taco spots in Baja. I’ve been coming here for years. The tortas are my favorite; made with fresh bread and a generous portion of chopped up carne asada. Service is quick and friendly. This is the TRUE Taco Surf!

Famous taco stand right on the Free(Libre) road along the ocean at the famous surf location of K-38. I had three carne asada tacos complete with guacamole for $ 2.30(29 pesos). Not only is this a ridiculously low price, the food(tortas, burritos & tacos) are ridiculously good. Menu is limited as to what they have to put into their dishes.

I’ve been coming to Taco Surf since I obtained my driver’s license which was about 20 years ago.(The California based Taco Surf restaurant ripped off the name and logo from this spot) Back then it was just a husband and wife operation, but now it has been remodeled with a full staff. They serve tacos and tortas either carne asada or al pastor which is from a split which you will not find anywhere stateside. I don’t know what they use to marinate the meat for their asada tacos, but it makes for the perfect taco. The same goes for the al pastor which just melts in your mouth and has the right amount of kick to it. The tacos are prepared in a grilled double wrapped tortilla which gives it a nice crunchy texture to it. The salsa and guacamole is also made fresh on site. There is a small market next door to purchase a beer to go down with it. Tacos run about $ 1.10 and tortas are about $ 3. Try mixing the asada and al pastor to mix things up. If you don’t stop here during your visit to Baja, you’ll be doing yourself a great disservice. No other taco stand comes close to taste and service.
