7 Seas Seafood Grille

We were impressed by the setting, but the food took center stage. Fabulous meal. We are returning with our whole family later this week. The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was attentive and complimented the wonderful meal.

This place was wonderful with a great view, very romantic. The food was awesome and the staff very friendly. Next time we are in Mexico this is the place we will be staying at.

It get’s two stars for the view and service. The food was okay — but not great for the price– if you are looking for a good meal for a good value — go to Sardinia’s down the street.

This place is so great — all 4 in my family loved it. We started with calamari (nothing amazing but okay), and all got different things including the lemon caper fish, herbed chicken, seafood skillet and I got the beef tenderloin which was amazing.

Went here after hurricane by about 3 months and it was awful service incompetent food ineatable HOWEVER went back last week ITS BACK. Food terrific service great view (of course) incredible try this for lunch or dinner expect a great view shrimp very good

Made resv which was super easy. Our friends arrived from the east coast and we went here for lunch after picking them up. Beautiful views and great service. Prices were reasonable and food was great. Enjoyed a couple of great drinks and food. Recommend the mixed tacos and the calamari.

BF birthday… They gave us a very nice table! Carlos was very helpful with food choices. Nothing disappointed with the exception of the Mexican coffee!!! super duper sweet with sugar on the rim

Amazing. Just do yourself a favor and go. Crab cakes are insane. Shrimp ravioli was to die for. If you’re in Cabo and want to treat yourself to an incredible experience and even better food, Seven Seas is where to go! We will come back every time we are in Cabo!

Ate here for breakfast and lunch during our Cabo visit as we were staying right down the road. Food is good, but it’s really the view that kept us coming back. Service was also awesome and very accommodating of children.
We also decided to rent boards/​chairs/​umbrella for a day. Probably a little on the expensive side ($ 40/​day for a board, $ 16/​day for chairs and umbrella) but super convenient and a great surf spot for us beginners.
Highly reccomend.

Great place to go if you want explosive diriaha.. usually when you go to Mexico you can’t pin point where you got sick from… this was the only place we ate at for our entire trip! I would highly recommend this place if you want montezuma’s revenge.

Such a beautiful restaurant. The food and wine are wonderful and the atmosphere is refreshing. It is situated right on the crystal blue water.

Gorgeous patio overlooking the beach where locals like to surf. For $ 16 US you can rent chairs and an umbrella and use the beach for the day where servers will bring food and drinks out.
We returned another day to do that and it was lovely. The seafood we had was brilliant. My tuna sashimi was so fresh, it went to live with it’s Auntie and Uncle in Bel Air.

The restaurant is attached to a hotel and the service is exemplary. I enjoyed the local art displayed.

We had lunch here and the atmosphere was terrific. The view was stunning and we loved watching the surfers. Our party of three had the mixed tacos, the premium chicken quesadilla and the fiesta mexicana skillet. All were very good and even though they were quite busy, the service was good. We agree with some of the other reviewers that it was a little overpriced but the relaxing, spectacular view made it worth it.

Interesting that the menu has changed some for the better. Not sure if a new chef or what.
The menu now has some items specifically identified as gluten free and low carb.
The tuna tartar is now more traditional instead of 3 weird ways and the heavy hand with the salt is gone. It was delicious.
The low carb grilled chicken sandwich supposed to arrive in a lettuce wrap came on traditional bread. This was quickly resolved.
Service was good and the view of the surfers below was outstanding as always.
Prices are a bit high but I guess the view is included.

Seven Seas has some really good sea food and makes a pretty good Cosmo too ! The restaurant is ocean front and has great views. After the sun goes down the lighting makes is a great place for a romantic dinner.
I had the sea bass and it was excellent. Not fishy tasting at all, very smooth. If you like garlic get it Al Ajo style, I’m getting hungry again just thinking about it.
Service can be a little sketchy which is what I usually find here in Mexico. I had to dock them a star for that.

My husband and I ate at this place twice during our recent visit to Cabo. Once for brunch and then we returned for dinner.
The best part about this restaurant is its location. The view is beautiful! As for food, we felt the brunch was a lot better compared to the dinner. We had the French toast and banana pancakes, both very yummy! The fruit smoothies were made from fresh fruits and not watered down by ice. Prices were also reasonable.
I would have given the restaurant 4-​star had we not returned for dinner later in the week. Unfortunately, this time the meal was barely average AND overpriced. We ordered one of the special shrimp ceviche dish, the slightly spicy curry-​like sauce was good but the shrimp tasted undercooked and fishy. I couldn’t eat it. We both had ordered seafood for our entrees and both of the dishes were just ok.
The overall service was good and staff were very friendly. However, during brunch they cleared my plate while my husband was still eating along with my glass which still had smoothie left in it! Why don’t the restaurants please teach their staff some proper etiquette! This goes for many places in the States as well.
I’d recommend the place for its great view and as a good brunch spot. If you do go to dinner, just remember the food is unlikely to trump the view.

The restaurant is attached to Cabo Surf Boutique Hotel. This open air, beachfront restaurant is the recipient of excellent geography. Without the terrific views of crashing waves, graceful surfers, and the infinity pool the restaurant is just another lunch spot. The service was spot on though. We were greeted and sat within seconds of watering the area. Two to three people waited on us at all times. The glasses were always full and we never felt rushed. The prices were consistent with everything else in the area. I can’t say anything bad about the food as we simply ordered lunch, but it was nothing out of sight.
The views are worth the effort. The restaurant does not embarrass itself in the kitchen either.
BTW, the hotel was great.

Ok so overall this spot was really enjoyable with a great ambience! Perfect way to spend the last night enjoying real dining and a great selection of drinks and eats. Prices were a little higher than I think they should have been even with the restaurant being located inside the Cabo Surf Hotel. For four of us to share two apps, eat three main entrees and have a slice of key lime to split with two drinks per the total came to $ 208USD. Not crazy but expected it to be more around $ 150USD at the high! The food was spectacular, the view was breathtaking and the service was definitely commendable!
