Es un lugar muy agradable, en plena zona hotelera en San José del cabo, su ubicación es en plaza pescador enfrenta del hotel cabo azul, su especialidad son los productos de mar o sea los ceviches, todas y el pescado en diferentes presentaciones así como los Mariscos, algo que no pueden dejar de probar es el pozole de camarón !!! Es una delicia y si quieres algo ligero puedes pedir una ensalada de mariscos también súper recomendable!

Service was good but the food was a disappointment. Ordered the fish of the day: fish filet was thin and overcooked. Cilantro sauce did not taste like cilantro.
Husband ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, which was ok, but It’s kind of Hard to mess up bacon wrapped around shrimp and deep fried. Roasted garlic side was obviiously reheated and was dull in flavor.
Fish carpaccio had the right idea with pink pepper and capers but the fish ítself tasted kinda fishy, when It’s supposed to taste fresh
Place seems to be trading on It’s location.

So glad we stumbled on this place yesterday. Just got into town and wanted to watch the playoff game. Saw a tv and sat down. Best choice ever!!! Daniel was a great server, super helpful! He will be missed when he goes back to Canada We got the seafood salad and ceviche with ponzu. The salad was amazing, but the ceviche sauce was just a teensy underwhelming. But everything was very fresh Great grapefruit margaritas too!

I was not expecting to use Unilocal down here in the wonderful city of San Jose del Cabo, so like the people of the olden ancient times, I decided to try this delightful joint based on mere appearance and menu selection (shocking right?)
Believe it or not, it was difficult at first choosing what to order without consulting Unilocal’s trusty highlighted phrases, but after ordering an appetizer and two entrees without any external help, we came to be a realization that everything on the menu was fair game and equally delicious. Seriously, everything we ordered (along with what our neighboring table ordered) looked delicious.
I highly recommend the bay scallop ceviche– our server recommended the «In Love» sauce with it and we were extremely impressed by the dish. Not only does it have the acidity and crispness that ceviches usually have, but it also incorporates a creamy and savory taste that goes soooo well with raw scallops. Omg I’m just drooling thinking about it; as a die-​hard raw scallop/​hotate fanatic, I was fully satisfied with that dish!
My boyfriend’s and my entrees were grilled octopus and shrimp tacos. My previous cooked octopus experiences in other restaurants have been mediocre, but my octopus entrée truly opened my eyes. The octopus was so soft and tender, not chewy and brittle like it has been in other restaurants, and its overall flavor brought an umami flavor to a seafood I thought would never taste that way. Also, my boyfriend’s shrimp tacos were delicious in a different way– its clever use of Maggi sauce in the grilled shrimp also redefined what I expected from seafood tacos. Simply put, try anything that appeals to you on the menu, you won’t be disappointed!
Service was top-​notch; I certainly am not used to genuine conversation at a sit-​down restaurant, but our server was funny, extremely attentive, and charming. That seems to be the case with other reviewers as well; if there’s one thing that blows American restaurants out of the water, it’s how open and friendly the servers are to its customers. It’s simple things like that that truly elevate your dining experience.
Oh, and the best part? For 2 beers, unlimited chips, crackers, and 4 different types of salsa, 2 entrees, and 1 starter, our bill came out to a mere $ 35 USD (roughly). I almost felt bad leaving the place the way I did. I could go on and on about this place, but… I won’t. El Fish won’t disappoint!

Great food and great service. We were in Cabo for 6 nights and went there for dinner every night. The special steak and F&G shrimp tacos were amazing! The margaritas are delicious as well. As stated by other reviewers, Daniel was hilarious! Best service and food you will get in Cabo!

I read the reviews here before deciding to eat here. They were correct. The food is great and the service is efficient and lighthearted. Our waiter was Daniel, although we were attended to by everyone because they want to make sure that you are well taken care of.
I ended up, upon the recommendation of Daniel, with the catch of the day, which was marlin. I had it grilled with garlic and chilies and my daughter had it with cilantro. Both were excellent and the size of the portion was so large that we did not have room for dessert. This was a 5 minute walk across the street from our Grand Mayan.

Tried the shrimp cocktail which was good. The Margarita was pretty small, but good. I had the fish of the day with a side of potatoes, and it was very very greasy! For something not fried, I would have expected far less grease. It tasted good, but just couldn’t get over how much oil was in it.

OMG… everything we ate was amazing! Mixed seafood cocktail, scallop ceviche geisha, and shrimp tacos Baja style were yummy fresh, with tastes so simple yet so complex in flavor. And the perfect happy ending was the corn cake… Rich yet light with nuances of nutmeg and corn kernels… only thing missing was the a la mode! Can’t wait to go back and try more! Great food, reasonable prices… GO FOR IT! You won’t be sorry!

Definitely a must try while in San Jose del Cabo. It’s located right across from Cabo Azul Resort. The fish tacos baja style were fantastic. Highly recommend trying the Seafood Cocktail with Bay Scallops «Pescador Style». So much flavor! Finally, you must try the Corn Sponge Cake for dessert. Truly amazing.
The service was also excellent. Our waiter was funny and was always there to serve our every need. Highly recommend!

Had the shrimp tacos. They where amazing. Service was great even during a busy beer festival. Great price for food as well! Definitely worth eating here!

Perfectly cooked fish. We shared a seafood salad and catch of the day (sea bass) in cilantro sauce. So often cold seafood is over cooked but the salad was perfect with shrimp, scallops and tender squid. The whole fish was also cooked beautifully with a yummy cilantro sauce. We ordered fries but I think it sounded more like rice but the rice was nicely seasoned and good to mop up the sauce.
More expensive than some places around here but better quality.
Service was very attentive. The servers knew the menu well. And they had unsweetened iced tea!

This place was amazing!!! Everything from the service to the food was great. We had the fish of the day and rustic potato along with fish and chips. It was some of the best fish I’ve ever had. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed. Great prices too!

My bf and I came here for dinner on a Friday night. We were greeted as we walked up to look at the menu. The food was excellent! I ordered the shrimp ceviche and I was so impressed. The shrimp tacos was very tasty & filling. My bf ordered the New York steak medium rare and it was perfect he says. I ordered fish & chips and the fish was locally caught and tasted so fresh. The owner and the chef walked around to each table to ask how the food was and believe me everyone said it was soooooo good and were very happy. The servers were very polite and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that’s wants a different experience from the all inclusive resorts. Thank you el fish & grill for making our dining experience a good one! Will definitely come back again!

My family and I came to cabo for a week. We’ve tried the restaurants all over San Lucas cabo, downtown and by far the food here is best! They know how to cook bomb ass steaks!

Ate here last night. Food was very tasty and look forward to coming back and trying something new. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This restaurant is just AMAZING!!! The ambiance is very laid back. The décor is modern and welcoming. The food is sooooo delicious. The service is the best I’ve ever had and that’s amazing to say specially from someone that lives in New York City.
I ate here while on vacation on September 7^th 2015. We had no idea the restaurant had only been open for about a week. It definitely didn’t have the vibe of a week old restaurant. There was plenty of people coming in and out of this place. I definitely see them lasting a long time in the area specially if they keep of the amazing food, drinks and service.
We were walking around the area trying to find something to eat for lunch and came across this place. The name itself along with its logo caught our attention. We got closer to the restaurant to peak are their menu stand outside and right away we got greeted by one of the staff members who ended up actually being our server. His demeanor quickly intrigued us to try the place out, he was friendly and super funny. He told us we could sit where ever we preferred, I chose a table in the far left corner right by the kitchen. The kitchen was an open concept kitchen so you could see what was going on, which to me says a lot about a restaurant it entails that you’re confident in what you do. Total plus!!! The bar was set up beautifully along with two big screen televisions. Also were we sat down there was like a chalkboard with a big screen television, which makes me wonder what this place will be like on game days, must be amazing!!!
The food and wine menu is very extensive but very detailed so that helped out the process of selecting our dishes and our delicious bottle of wine. Our server immediately asked if we would like anything to drink, we started of with regular tap water, yes I know they say don’t drink tap water when you visit other countries but did you stop to think that ice is that same water and you have no problem having that in your drink, get over it. He also offered us a complimentary shrimp soup and who could say no to something that is free. Lol!!! That soup was soooooo good!!! It was super fresh. It tasted like Abuela’s fish soup. For some reason seafood in Los Cabos has this kinda earthy taste to it, which is fine by me because it just means it’s fresh. The soup had that earthy taste to it which was amazing!!! We then ordered a bottle of Corralillo Sauvignon Blanc 2014 from San Antonio Valley, Chile that was beyond what I expected. Pale lime yellow color, with an intense mineral and herbal nose full of citric aromas such as grapefruit and tropical fruits. Soft and fresh palate, with pleasant roundness and a long lasting finish. It paired perfectly with our appetizers and entrees. I ordered the fish carpaccio and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp, bacon, avocado taco. The fish carpaccio was delicious the olive oil, lime and capers gave it a very savory taste. My boyfriends’ taco was super tasty, I never paired shrimp and bacon ever in my life so having it here and it being amazing has me wanting it more every day. For our entrees I had a fish ceviche marinated with tomatoes, red onions, ketchup and some other things and he had the catch of the day which was a Red Snapper with his choice of seasoning. I’m so use to ceviche Peruvian style that I was a little skeptical about a ketchup, mayo based ceviche but I still gave it a try and it was soooooo good, now I’m craving it writing this review as I also look at the picture. Lol!!! My boyfriend is not a fish type of guy and his mother and definitely vouch for that but luckily he trusted my instinct and ordered the Red Snapper and he loved it. I only had one bite while he literally devoured the whole fish. Even the cheft himself was impressed. The chef even showed him how to get more meat out of the fishs’ cheeks. On that note, I must say that the chef was super friendly and approachable as well as one of the owners we even got a picture with them. It was lovely!!!
Everything about our experience here was amazing. The food and wine was delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, the service was beyond amazing!!! I will definitely be back and bringing many more with me. Hopefully New York doesn’t keep us too long!!! Hasta Luego Fish & Grill!!!

This place just opened and it looks great. There are a bunch of big screen TVs and the place looks brand new. The food was great and the service was excellent. I had the jumbo shrimp taco and my girlfriend got the shrimp cocktail. They were both very good and I will recommend this place to eat.
