Odd assortment on plate: delicious battered shrimp with dressingless side salad, rice, mashed potatoes, and tortillas. Genuinely did not know what to do with the tortilla, lol. Shrimp were worth the trip though! Almost felt a little awkward because there were exclusively locals there(but always a good sign right?).

The service here was a bit slow, but the food was good. We ordered a few different kinds of shrimp. My favorite was the Diablo. I got the regular Margarita which didn’t taste super good, but I got pretty buzzed after only drinking half of it! This place is kind of on the outskirts of town and is very casual — think plastic lawn chairs.

This is a must visit. Great restaurant impressive building beautiful outside patio area. The service is 5 star from the moment you are greeted at your car to the hostess to the service team. We had a couple of salads, the tomato watermelon salad my wife googled over and I equally loved my beet salad. She had a torched salmon roll which she said was excellent. I had the porkchop which was to die for. The sides we tried were the rice the chipotle mac and chese and the Mexican corn on the cob, all excellent. To end we had the chocolate sampler plate, make sure you leave room. This restaurant is a must!

This place is amazing! Locals eat here! We’ve been here twice and are going one more time before we leave! We had the coconut shrimp, which was good. The fried shrimp tacos were also good. The grilled shrimp tacos were amazing and the bacon wrapped shrimp was the BEST! We want to try the whole fried fish(red snapper, I think) and will probably have fish tacos & bacon wrapped shrimp again! So good! Go try it out, it’s delicious!!!

My family and i went here for dinner on our last day in Cabo. I had the molcajete de mariscos which is basically a stone bowl filled with yummy seafood(cooked/raw shrimp, scallops, octopus, forgot the rest) in a lime juice with sliced jalapenos(spicy). It was melt in your mouth goodness. I also tried the freshly fried snaper. it was huge!!! And fucking good! I will order that next time we visit! My daughter had the cheeseburger which was made with a piece of carne asada instead of the grounded meat. She had no complaints and enjoyed it! A must go to restaurant. They have food pictures if you are not sure what to order. Prices are fair. They also give you a taste of their shrimp broth(very tasty) as soon as you are seated.

I am not a local, but I am mexican. I live in the US so I know both cultures. This establishment was the culinary highlight of my restaurant expierencea in Los Cabos. Definately deserving of a 5 star review. I’ll begin by saying it’s a busy establishment. People know how good it is the locals eat here so it’s a good sign. The restrooms are clean and their little place was a hut like building. I sat down with my family around 6 to 7 people and they seated us quickly with mexican hurry. They welcomed us well. We sat and they brought us our drinks and complementary soup. Delicious. Even then I got the shrimp soup! The staff is incredibly helpful in their menu, they know their stuff unlike the capitalistic system of the US where they want you to break bank. The shrimp soup was delightful a good spicy and nice broth with a plethora of shrimp. Not frozen but peaked good sized shrimp! My family ordered some fresh seafood for appetizers to share such as the shrimp cocktail/ceviche and some sort of clam. The clams were so fresh it was amazing, they moved and tasted like a blast of no seafood I’ve ever had before. I crave them even now. For my final dish I ordered Los Camarones a la Diabla, shrimp with devil sauce. I’d heard good things but was thrown off by the bacon part. I’m not too big on pork. But this dish did not emphasize the bacon but was instead highlighted by it. The sauce was amazing a creamy Chipotle sauce with just enough spice to decorate the bacony shrimp and the cheese and butter within. My family alike ordered other delightful dishes. Still the equally amazing thing was the price… Overall adding upto around 60.00 $ US Dollars for a full sized family. So amazing, I dream about this place.

Food was good. Our group ordered the deviled shrimp, bull shrimp, cilantro shrimp, crab empanadas and molcajete de Mariscos. All of them were delicious! My fave was the cilantro shrimp and crab empanadas. This was our first and only meal in cabo since landing. The margaritas were also good. The Cadillac will get you all f##!%# up. And they a birthday prank for those celebrating their special day! But the next day I got the squirts really bad! Vomiting was involved too. I can’t get of the bathroom. Had to call in the doctor. I don’t know, I guess I was the lucky one, nobody else got it in my group.

This was an incredible meal all around. Started with guacamole, app of aguachiles that were amazing and finished with beers and whole fried snapper. Close to resorts and airport.

Best seafood and fantastic staff. Great prices and no corkage fee. We are regulars eating here at least once a week. Will be there tonight and can’t wait. Everything a good restaurant should be.

Amazing seafood options at a great cost!!! I was recommended this restaurant by some local employees at the hotel. They said this place has the best seafood at the most reasonable options and they didn’t lie! We ordered the seafood platter to try a variety. We got several types of shrimp, sea bass, clams, and even octopus. The coconut shrimp were our favorite. They also bring out complimentary soup and pico with all meals. Great vacation option! It is also an open air restaurant. Very casual

Recommended by our car rental agent as a place to eat before we got on the road to CSL. No frills but the authentic shrimp tacos were great — then the shrimp kabob… excellent! Great, but watch out for: the verde sauce with the«packaged» but decent corn tortilla chips — it’s hot! The short guy up front that seems like the manager was a bit standoffish for us being only the 2nd sat table(3rd&4th customers) for the day(we got there right at noon), but our waiter was fantastic in guiding us to order. Even gave me a sample of octopus since I’d mentioned I’d never had it. Atmosphere is pretty basic: folding tables, plastic chairs, sand floor that more resembled kitty litter. I’m sure the locals love this place, especially at night.

This place must have 190 different kinds of shrimp(well almost). They had garlic shrimp, grilled shrimp, coconut shrimp, tempura shrimp, and more. Dinners cost $ 10 –14US or $ 140 — 175 MEXpeso. The place was filled with locals and a few tourists. Dinners come with small salad, rice and mashed potatoes They also serve chips, crackers and salsa and pico de guyo as an appetizer The grilled sea bass was delicious and came with a mushroom cream sauce. The red snapper(whole) with butter and garlic was cooked perfectly. Didn’t really care for the garlic shrimp — too much garlic(is that possible?). Well it was kind of a garlic gravy on the shrimp. However the grilled shrimp were perfect and plenty of shrimp per dinner. One of our favorite meals in San Lucas!

This is a very cute Palapa style seafood restaurant. The waitstaff was pleasant and the service was fast. My boyfriend and I loved the shrimp burger, it was Ammmaazzzziing! The bread was perfectly grilled as was the shrimp and cheese. This gem is easily accessible and has a unique ambiance. So if you find yourself in San Jose del Cabo Art District and are in the mood for some mouth watering seafood I would definitely come here. *try the shrimp burger… you will not regret it ;)* Saludos!!! Ahh so happy there’s a second restaurant. My bf took me to the location off the highway on the way from the airport in November 2013 and I fell in love. I was looking forward to returning here when we booked our tickets months ago. Then hurricane odile hit and I wasn’t sure what’s left. When we arrive and drove by the original spot we saw that they aren’t currently open and my heart sank. Low and behold we discovered they have since opened a second location which is even closer to us as we stay in San Jose del Cabo. El Toro ceviche is where it’s at. Basically a seafood mix. Fish, shrimp and octopus. All so fresh and the portion is super generous. Yum! I’ve waited a year and it did not disappoint! We also got mixed empanadas which came in 6 pieces. 3 empanadas cut in half with tartar sauce salad and rice. Crab, shrimp and smoked marlin. All so good. Man they are delicious. Then we opted to get 6 raw oysters at $ 15 pesos each. Eh I could’ve passed. Not my favorite oysters and they were not shucked super clean. One thing at this location I didn’t see offered as the old one was(maybe it just wasn’t on the menu) was the seafood sampler. A huge concoction on a clay thing with foil folded into the shape of a fish. It fed 4 of us last November. I’m definitely returning before I head home to buy two serving of ceviche to-go. So good!

Had to get away for just an afternoon from all the craziness that San Lucas was providing me and it was well worth it. I looooove seafood so I stopped at this place, the music was on fire, the atmosphere was lively and the clams… delicious. Order a large clam cocktail and a couple of Pacificos and you should be a-ok. Although San Lucas is crazy fun, San Jose del Cabo provides tourists with a more authentic and charming slice of Mexico. This was my favorite San Jose spot, cheers!
